I've had this hibachi truck a few times as it comes to my apartment complex. First time it was great, but every time since it has gotten progressively worse. They don't offer bowl options so I always get the filet mignon plate ($30) which comes with fried rice and veggies. Extremely overpriced for the tiny steak portion in my opinion, but the real kicker for me was the last two times the veggies were not cooked at all. Like literally... At. All. I love this food truck! Everytime I see that it's near by where I live, I always get it. The quality of the filet is consistently good and super tender. I order it rare and it's cooked perfectly. The fried rice tastes like you'd get it in a restaurant, and the staff are always very friendly. I usually order ahead online, and the wait time is pretty spot on. Was curious about a hibachi truck translating the spirit of hibachi into the price point of hibachi combined with a food truck and ultimately I'm still waiting. The offerings are the standard hibachi things. The shrimp and filet were pretty good, nothing outstanding. We opted to get one of the entrees with noodles instead of rice, a $6 upcharge. I did appreciate the available sauces and sauce containers. However, the ten minute time frame we were told ended up being 20-25 for the food (without much of a crowd) and overall the prices are just not worth it. To pay $20+ for essentially shrimp fried rice and with every dish being mid 20s (without combos up to $70+ in a food truck?) isn't something I would pay for again. read more

Our St Moritz community has food trucks come in during the week and this one is by far the best. My first impression was a good one especially with the large crowd of people that were there to place orders and the aroma is outstanding. We ordered the trio plate with chicken, shrimp and steak with all fried rice. The meat was well seasoned and the rice was delicious. We placed our order online and didn't have to wait long. The staff is friendly and professional and I also recommend the lobster. I know it's important to try different things in the menu but we are hooked on the trio plate but we will try a different plate next time. read more

If you are lucky enough to see this food truck around town I highly recommended you order a plate from them!! I live at City Lights in Aliso Viejo, so I get excited when these guys pull up their truck every other month or so! The plates initially seem expensive but it is SO worth it! The quality is absolutely insane and you get a TON of food! Their filet is so tender and when I ask for medium rare they cook it perfectly! Me and my girlfriend both got the Surf and Turf. Over $80 but we said why not. The fried rice was alittle too boring for me, not enough salt or garlic. When asked how we wanted the meat we said med/rare. I know it's probably my harder to do that to sliced meat but these lil guys were a chewy med/welldone, and not much flavor other than just meat. Paid for 3 trio or triple combos and didn't get chicken in any of the 3 meals at FD Irwindale and I understand you guys were busy but still you can't be charging full whack for something that you are after running out of?? We were all the ways back in our seats by the time we discovered this. Very disappointing poor service a heads up were out of chicken would be nice or were charging you X amount less because the chicken is already gone would have been totally fine. We are at the OCSC game abc ordered food here. The person who took the order said the wait time was approximately 20 mins. Now waiting for over 45 mins the order still was not ready. Missed half of the first half because of this. And when we said something they offered us a free bottle water. How would a free bottle water help us get the first half of the game back. Spent over $80 on the order and all you can do is a bottle water for bad service. I am sorry, but if you ever go to the OCSC soccer game stay away from this food truck. read more

My son and I finished baseball at the Great Park today and passed WCH walking back to the car and my son said he'd been smelling it all day. That said, we both ordered a Trio and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was: it tasted fresh and was seasoned perfectly! I'd even go so far as to say it was as good as - if not better than - restaurant hibachi dining!
