    Caramel frappe

Lexi does not fail to consistently make the best freaking frappechinos. My mom and me always get caramel frappes and if I see her I know it's gonna be amazing. A Caramel frappe has been our go-to forever, and trust me not everyone knows how to make a good frappe. But she is just the best!

This is my favorite Starbucks. They are quick, friendly and make the best drinks. My iced pumpkin spice lattes that I get lately are always delicious!

I visited Japan late last year and it was the best travel experience of my life, so to have a little slice of it here in my little town of Laguna Niguel is so special. And it's open early enough for the Finance Girls! The word that comes to mind is authentic. The barrels of beans waiting to be roasted in the front, the minimal menu, the pour-over style coffee for every cup, the chic industrious decor, super friendly service from every barista. It's hard for me to want to make coffee at home when I can have this! Worth every penny. Can't wait to gift my loved ones with bags of their freshly roasted beans. Do not sleep on Maméya!

Genuinely surprised I haven't left a review sooner. It's a small, quaint shop with a clean and mellow interior, relaxing jazz playing in the background, and aroma of freshly brewed coffee that always transports me back to Japan. Daisuke and his team greet everyone with such genuine warmth that you immediately feel welcomed. Their hospitality is unmatched, but what keeps me coming back is the consistency. Every drink is made with care, and they're always happy to take the time to explain the differences between their beans, recommend something based on your preferences, and answer any questions without ever making you feel rushed. You can tell they truly care about both their craft and their customers. I usually order the café au lait, and it's the only coffee shop where I'm confident in asking them to make it however they like. Every now and then I'll also pick up a bag of their beans to brew at home, and I highly recommend doing the same. They carefully help you choose from their wide variety, then grind the beans for you or sell them whole if you have your own grinder. Grinding fresh beans takes about 15-20 minutes, so if you're driving from farther away, I'd recommend calling ahead or placing an order through their website for pickup. The quality of the coffee speaks for itself, but what really sets this place apart is the experience. It's rare to find a coffee shop where both the product and the people are this consistently exceptional. Where most coffee shops tend to rush you out I think the difference here is that you genuinely feel welcomed. Wishing Daisuke and the entire team nothing but continued success. They deserve every bit of it. If you're looking for incredible coffee, authentic Japanese hospitality, and a place that genuinely cares about what they serve, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it.

Ambience 5/5 Located in the same plaza as sprouts, there is plenty of parking in the parking lot, when you walk in there are a mixture of tables and bar seating/booths along the wall. Grateful for groups of 4 to 5, we're coming here solo or for a coffee date. There are outlets along the front wall, our seating, and the booths on the side to get work done (great plus!). They do play music so noise level is average with the typical coffee shop. Sounds as well. What I really loved was the multitude of sitting areas around the whole coffee shop and also a little play area for toddlers. (Kitchen play) next to the door -- so adorable! Drink 5/5 I got a small lavender latte, it tastes super flavorful, strong lavender flavor, and I asked for a little bit light sweetness (less honey). Sometimes when I get lavender lattes, they have a little bit of bitter aftertaste, but this wasn't the case at all. They also have awesome looking seasonal flavors that I'll have to come back to try sometime. Service 5/5 I know others have had something to say, but everyone was super friendly and you could tell that coworkers got along -- seems like a really good work culture where people become friends :) Overall, I love to this coffee shop. If I lived near the area, I would definitely be a regular, but will certainly keep this as a place to stop by when I'm passing through the area!

Stopped by this location after grabbing coffee at Mameya Coffee Roasters next door around 10 AM on a Saturday morning. Lots of parking in this plaza and a decent amount of seating outside (shared with some of the shops next door so they fill up). The line was not too long (around 5 parties before us) so we got to the front pretty quickly. There were a few things that were not available and in the process of being baked so I didn't get to try all of the items I had my eye on but I got the red bean salt bread, kobo kuma cream bread, honey butter croissant and curry pan. All came out to around $15 which I think is comparable for the type of items in the general area. - Red bean salt bread: nice salt contrast between the salt and sweetness from the anko. The outside is crispy from the fried butter during the baking process but the interior is light and fluffy - Kobo kuma: super light and fluffy shokupan bread (was honestly shocked when I picked it up how light it was), interior is a not too sweet cream - Honey butter croissant: kind of small to be honest but I think because it's so sweet/indulgent it's the perfect small bite. Reminiscent of a kouign amann - Curry pan: usually not a fan of how the curry runs on the sweeter side for most curry pan but this one was predominantly savory with a rich curry flavor. The bun was nice and crispy but didn't feel overly oily/heavy. The curry was also steaming hot/fresh I'd come back again if the lines stay reasonable like todays visit to try some of the other baked goods :)
