I'm sorry, I'm from Pittsburgh, I came to town for a funeral tomorrow morning. I stayed at a hotel the night before. We was hungry and didn't know what to eat, so we ordered pizza and wings from Westgate Pizza Co. seriously this is the worse pizza and wing I have ever tasted. Y'all do not need to cook food. I make it a point to visit places that are not chains. True, one never knows what you'll get, were as when you go to Pizza Hut you know ahead of time what your nasty pizza with the spongy crust will taste like. I love to gamble on food, and won the jackpot tonight! I ordered the pick two (it's an odd ordering system centered around the half sheet pizza) and a $2 pepperoni roll to tide me over while I waited for the 'za. That roll was an excellent indicator of the mouth watering feast I was about to receive. Tender, flaky, with just the right amount of meat and cheese, my eyes about rolled into my head! (Of course, I WAS very hungry, but still!) Nothing to complain about on the pizza either- real cheese, good sauce, and my chicken bacon ranch specialty pizza was excellent! I love the crust- soft, but firm enough to hold the slices. Just a fantastic place, and if I'm here again, I WILL be getting more! read more

C'mon, they have a super sampler pizza for goodness sakes, which I definitely had to try, and it did not disappoint. As this was our first time trying, of which I'm sure will be of many times, the sampler was the perfect 'za to get a little taste of a lot. As none of them were bad, I became a fan of the white, chicken garlic, and BBQ chicken in that order. The small shop appeared clean and the staff was nice. I have been coming here for years, and Westgate Pizza Company is phenomenal! At Westgate, the service is exceptional, and the food is always delicious and consistent. Their pizza is one of my favorites, with wonderful fluffy dough, lots of cheese, and an amazing unique flavor in their sauce. In addition, their pepperoni rolls are by far the best in the Youngstown area!! I had actually thought I already rated this place because I've had pizza here many times in the past. I like their pizza. I like the sauce. I like the crust. I think you get good pizza for a great price. You can get a whole sheet of pizza here for the price that you pay for one pizza at some places. The rating that I thought I had previously given would've been a high rating, and I specifically searched them today to give them a lower rating because of my most recent experience. When I picked up my pizza, not a single employee was wearing a mask! I happen to have written the COVID-19 policy for my employer where I work. I know that all employees in the state of Ohio are required to wear masks. The only exceptions are if you are working in an office by yourself or you have a medical condition that prohibits you from wearing a mask. You can't tell me that all of these young people working at Westgate Pizza all have medical conditions that prohibit them from wearing a mask. I wear a mask every day at work. It's much harder for me to breathe in it. My face gets hot and the mask gets wet on the inside. I absolutely hate wearing a mask, but I do it because it's the law and it's the safe thing to do. It's impossible to stay 6 feet away while making and boxing a pizza. There is no doubt they had to have breathed on my pizza. Your lack of concern for the general public in not policing your own employees and requiring them to wear a mask is inexcusable. Shame on you Westgate Pizza! read more

They close at 9pm. I called at 8:27 and was told they are done taking orders. I have ordered several times from them and have been told it would be ready in 25 minutes to 30 minutes at the most. If your open till 9, you should be open till 9. read more

We had just moved to the Youngstown area and I had driven by this place a dozen times and never even hardly saw it. Finally a coworker told me about this place. When we ordered from here we got pizza and wings. Honestly the hot ranch and and garlic parm are literally the best I've ever had. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because the pizza wasn't my favorite, but I've lived in Brooklyn and no one beats their pizza. However we will definitely be back for the wings. read more

I live very close to Westgate Pizza and sometimes that can be a bad thing. When going out to get something to eat I drive right by and forget about the place. Well that was my fault on most of the time. I can honestly say they have the best wings in the Boardman area and their pizza is also very good. So don't make the mistake that I have made! read more

I past this place and thought when I get hungry I need to try this place out. Today I passed it and I was hungry so I turned around and stopped. Well I am glad I did. I got 6 with extra cheese . This pizza is excellent. The crust is very light and has the perfect crisp to it. The sauce was very good and the cheese was chewy. I also got a pepperoni roll but didn't eat it yet. I originally was going to eat one piece and eat the pepperoni roll. But I couldn't stop eating the pizza till I was full. read more

Amazing. Like I posted on google reviews - in a town like Youngstown that is known for "Mom & Pop" pizza places...this one is THE BEST. Crisp and airy crust; zesty flavorful sauce (and they use a nice amount of it). REAL cheese - and again - they are not stingy with it. Very reasonable prices. Always the same quality product. Reminiscent of the old 'Petrillo's Pizza' restaurant on the southside of Youngstown which has been closed for quite some time. Although it isn't identical as they use a lot more cheese, it is similar in flavor. Hands down my favorite local place. I usually just order a half sheet with extra cheese.
