This place was the spot. I ordered the 32oz tomahawk steak for 2. It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. As an add-on, I also asked for the red wine demi glaze. The asparagus was thicker than I prefer but it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sometimes thicker stalks become stringy. Not these. The mashed potatoes on their own were good, but I took it to the next level adding in some of the demi glaze and they were absolute perfection. Creamy, buttery, and rich. Of course the main event - the tomahawk steak. As you should, I order this steak rare. The outside had a perfect char. Where the fat rendered tasted like a crispy bacon. The whole steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It didn't NEED a sauce, but the glaze complimented the flavors perfectly. My only critique here is how loud the place was. It was a bustling night and if you are going for a quiet intimate spot, this may not be for you. However, the atmosphere was buzzing, the restaurant is beautiful, and the service is on point. It's a must try!

My girlfriend and I had wanted to visit Westside Grill for some time and we finally got the chance. Adjoined to the Hyatt, the restaurant is spotless and welcoming with great seating for guests. The bar also has that open and comforting feeling. But this place has an exceptional hostess and they all work seamlessly with each other. For instance, I saw no busing personnel, but the hostesses would clear tables with nary a sound and at lightning speed. The servers are knowledgable, professional, and genuinely kind. Pamela, our server, helped guide us through our drink, meal, and dessert choices and all of her recommendations were stellar. Pamela presented us with warm sourdough bread, with warm butter at the start. For the first time since I visited Alaska in 1989, I finally had outstanding sourdough that lived up to its name. Right then, I knew we were in for something special. My Grey Goose martini with fresh blue cheese stuffed olives was exceptional. The ahi tuna appetizer was flawless with excellent cuts of tuna. My scallops over pureed sweet potatoes was fantastic. The scallops were tender and flavorful. My girlfriend ordered the turkey pot pie, which was absolutely delicious (and she had enough for the next day). The dark chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert really hit the spot. Absolutely rich and satisfying without being overly sweet. My Irish coffee with Jameson was perfect. Reservations recommended because the Westside Grill gets packed. Once you dine here, you'll taste why. We want to get back there -- immediately.

Pricey Beef tips were kinda tough. Mushroom ravioli Deep fried Brussels sprouts were ok. Caesar Salad was good.. They didn't have the Cauliflower. Dissapointing

Not sure how you can screw up a cheeseburger, but this was intolerable. I think the meat was spoiled? Tasted like sewerage.

Always just an Amazing Atmosphere and the service is top notch. We have always had wonderful and great food at a fair price.

I was in the area to do some holiday things with my family. We stayed at the Hyatt House. It was great that the Westside Grill was apart of the hotel. We went there to eat on our last night. The food was great. The ambience was great. The waiters were great. It was an all-around great experience. I wish I hadn't jumped on my food so quickly because I forgot to take pictures, but everything was great. I had the salmon dish, my husband had the New York strip steak and lobster and my children had the chicken fingers and mac n cheese. For the appetizers, we chose the steak tips as well as the bang bang shrimp. All of it was delicious. I also had the apple cinnamon drink, which was very good and is the only picture that I took. I definitely will be back again when I'm visiting in the area.

When we arrived and saw that they were in a shopping mall, we were thinking about looking for somewhere else.... Boy I'm SO GLAD that we didn't! We arrived around 12:30 and they were packed - we were able to get a table outside (bar and inside dining area were too noisy for us)! Our server, Ariana O. was great! My wife enjoyed her Flamingo Fandango drink ($ 14.50) with the Torta Ahogada ($18.95) - both were delicious but the sandwich was very messy - better eaten with a knife and fork - and absolutely delicious as were their French fries that she had! I ordered the Beef "Cubano" sandwich ($ 17.95) with a side of golden beets ($ 2.00 up charge) glazed with the same horseradish sauce that was on the sandwich (Ariana's recommendation). Both were wonderful and we shared tastes of each other's items! It was worth the drive up and the impending drive back!!! We also shared a Dark Chocolate Custard pie that featured an Oreo type of crust with whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate as a topping - it tasted wonderful but I felt a little on the small size for the $ 12.95 price! All things considered, I would make the drive again to go back to experience the other items on the menu but as was suggested, I would definitely make a reservation for lunch and definitely would for dinner! FYI: their menu is seasonal so you want to view it online before you go!

I was initially on the fence about it since its in a shopping mall surrounded by chain restaurants and a wax salon, but I figured if it looked bad inside there was a Smashburger nearby. How wrong I was! The inside is absolutely stunning, what a beautiful space. It took a while to be seated since it was a holiday weekend but when we did we had a beautiful view of an indoor sunroom. We got the potato pierogi to start, which was fantastic, and my dish was the tofu scramble (with fruit as a side). The scramble had a surprising sweetness that was not unpleasant and was quite a large portion. Our server was great but he had a very strong and vibrant personality - which I did not care for when I first sat down and was tired and hangry, but he was great and won me over at the end, haha. Anyway, try this place, its amazing and next time I am in Allentown I will be back for sure.

The bottom line is, If you have a noise issue, don't have bands. On top of all this the service down by the pavilion was miserable. We thought it would be good, but we didn't expect that it would be outstanding. Their dinner menu was fairly small but had an amazing variety of dishes to suit many tastes. It was difficult to choose, but we settled on the veal and the pork rib rack chop. I knew it would be an outstanding meal when the salads that came with all entrees arrived. I usually grudgingly take a couple bites of a provided (typically uninspired) house salad, but this one was comprised of perfectly dressed greens that were the most tender, delicious, and freshest I've ever had in a restaurant, topped with crispy taro strips and a ring of tiny mung beans. If that level of care goes into a humble salad, I figured the mains would be awesome. They were. Both entrees had beautifully cooked proteins accompanied by generous portions of also beautifully cooked vegetables. The pork rib chop was especially impressive, tender and juicy and nicely paired with the apple mostarda, a sophisticated riff on a traditional pork chop with apple sauce. In addition to the vegetable sides noted on the menu descriptions, we each got haricot verts on the side. I typically eat green beans only because they're good for you, but these were so delicious that they were the only item I didn't take for leftovers. The dessert list was impressively long, and we went for their crème brûlée and a Bavarian with chantilly cream and cherries. The crème brûlée was delicate and smooth, with many specks of fresh vanilla bean and topped with incredibly fresh berries. The Bavarian was excellent as well, mousse-like in texture. Our service had the professionalism you would expect in a high end place. I thought it was an especially thoughtful touch that my box of leftovers was delivered at the end of the meal with the check, so it wasn't sitting on the table with us during dessert. The Savory Grille knows small touches make a difference. Of note, we were in the main dining room, which was a little snug, and the volume with a full house was a bit loud (from talking, not music). The other space looks a bit more spacious. No matter, we had an awesome dinner here that left us with fond memories, and I highly recommend the Savory Grille for a special occasion.

I saw the reviews for The Trapp Door on Yelp and we just had to stop. Having said that - had we not known we had a destination we would have completely driven past. On the outside it's a completely unassuming place that you would think only draws a local crowd as the town bar. Let me tell you.....first appearances are completely deceiving. The Trapp Door is just a magical secret. Ok so maybe it's not a secret to many but I will tell you why it's worth driving to. Philly people - you must come here! NJ people - you too! If you look up the definition of Gastropub - this is it. I've traveled all over the world and tried many who claim to be Gastropubs - this place is the true definition. The service is as friendly as you can get. They make you feel comfortable and as if you were a local and as if you have known them forever. We were 3 guests and as appetizers we had the bone marrow and the duck confit, then had the smoked trout and the Spanish chorizo. The duck, bone marrow and home made smoked trout ( and I'm not necessarily a fish fan) were absolutely amazing. Already dreaming about. Seriously -to write home about. The chorizo was good but average. Then we split a burger - medium rare - and let me tell you - if you are craving a burger - you will fall in love! Cooked exactly as we had requested. They also had homemade condiments. Phenomenal. One of us decided we should order desserts and many times after having such a great meal - I'm apprehensive of ruining it by ordering dessert since sometimes it's not a speciality and leaves you a bit disappointed. Yeah, no. You will just be even more in love. We had the pumpkin crème brûle ( Im over all the pumpkin and was apprehensive however it was spectacular and the pumpkin was true pumpkin - not forced). We also had the ginger apple cobbler - wow! Ginger is just right. The dough was perfectly light and fluffy and crispy. A hard trifecta to master. The beverages and beers do not disappoint and need little introduction. This places deserves a visit. Make your way there even if a bit out of the way. It's worth every single extra mile. You won't be disappointed. We will be back. Thank you to Abby (try the drink named after her. She's just as nice), Taylor, Sue and the chef - Nate Thatcher. Wow!!!! I may have set the bar too high ( no I haven't) so let me lower it - so I'll close with. Yeah go try it. It's ok. He he he he.
