I used Wheel Ding King to repair damage to two of my wheels: curb rash on one wheel, and curb rash and a dent on another wheel. The initial repair had some imperfections between the original color and the repaired area. The owner, Sebastian, offered to work on it further to improve the finish. They managed to make it look better. Sebastian explained to me that wheel that are produced on a CNC lathe cannot be repaired to their original look with the process they use. He gave me a discount for the work. While the finish was not ideal, I appreciate his effort to try to make things right. For the price, it was a good job. If you want a perfect finish for wheels that have been CNC lathed, it sounds like the only option is to have them repaired on a lathe, which is apparently significantly more expensive. Definitely be sure to ask this in advance and make a decision based on price and finish quality. read more

I ran over a fallen rock the size of a football in my Subaru BRZ on my way up to snowshoe last weekend. On my way back I realized the steering wheel was shaking and there was a rumble noise. I was freaking out because I've got the upgraded alloy wheels that are more expensive. After the dealership determined the rim was bent, I called this place and explained it to the owner, Sebastian. Right off the bat he was very assuring and confident he could fix it. He was able to pick the car up from the Subaru dealership which made things way easier for me. He fixed it no problem and charged me less than the dealership did for the alignment + tire balancing. Wish I would've taken it to this guy first! He is very knowledgeable and good at what he does. At one point I thought he made a mistake and fixed the wrong wheel and he said he would correct it for free if he did-- turns out he didn't, it was something else. I was pretty distraught when this smoking hot flying object decided to be cute and detach from another vehicle, fly toward me, and attack my rims while I was innocently driving down 270. Tried calling the place, no answer. Took a picture of two wheels and texted both wheels to the number on here with a request for an estimate - got a very quick estimate back. Asked when I can come in - was told now. So I drove 45 mins and got there. The person I texted back and forth with wasn't there. The person that was there doubled the price that was quoted, told me that is the going price. I tried calling and texting the other person about 10 times, but they wouldn't reply. The person that was at the shop would only tell me that the person I communicated with isn't there. So I left very disappointed. Drove 1.5 hours for nothing. Maybe it is under a "new" management.
