So, I only Yelp positive experiences. I don't feel it necessary to speak bad about one experience. However, I have had nothing but great experiences here and I must Yelp! So I am a regular at Which Wich. We have done multiple orders for my organization. These orders are both catering or just because the staff wants sandwiches. Our employees pay and so does my company. I also go here all the time on my own. First thing is first, tuna is off the chain. Little bit of Cholula sets it 100% off. Food quality is amazing. Haven't had anything I didn't like. So this is why I am finally yelping. Today I really wanted a tuna sandwich. I just had surgery and haven't eaten a real meal in 3 weeks. My son and I go in, I am hunched over and first thing that happens is I am greeted by the staff so nicely. "Hi, welcome in! Nice to see you again. How are you? Are you ok? Let's get you a seat!" We placed our order and they made it so special. The who I believe is the Manager Sandra was so kind, helpful, sweet, and pleasant said "we added healing powers in your sandwich today" I have been feeling sad and going here today made me feel so great and cared for. I was here in the late afternoon during the week and there were a handful of people in the shop. The service is really slow, so don't come if you are in a hurry. The employees are obviously paid by the hour. The food was A-OK. Nothing I would rush back to, but I wouldn't discourage people from going here if the wanted a sandwich and had plenty of time to wait for it. My son loves the plain roast beef sandwiches here, literally meat and bread, so I added a couple stars, but there are no sandwiches to write home about. Also, pro tip: even though the restaurant supposedly closes at 9 and doors remain open, don't come here past 8:15 when they start wrapping things up. I came right at 8:30 after my son's class, and they had finished wrapping things up, so they wouldn't throw some roast beef on bread for him. They literally turned the lights off at 8:45. One of the best place to eat in the whole Tustin Market Place when in a hurry. Always great for a good tasty sandwich. The staff is very helpful and the lady manger was super attentive. Update to previous review from a couple of weeks ago when I pointed out how this location is frequently out of essential sandwich making ingredients. Despite my previous comment about not going here again, I was in the area and hungry and in a hurry and decided to give them one more try. Again, the sandwiches are good....when they have the stuff to make them. This time I went in at 11:30am before the lunch crowd thinking surely they can't be out of sandwich making ingredients at this hour. However, I was once again let down when the young lady at the counter informed me they were out of avocados. I just don't understand how they can continue like this, oh and still no French fries for a looong time now. The person who helped me at the counter also seemed exasperated with my frustration. First time at a Which Wich, bring your own pen if you a germophobe cuz filling out a form on the paper bag is a requirement. Took about 10min but got the Grinder and it was pretty good! Tasted pretty much like a pepperoni sandwich. I like it!! Bread was crispy, veggies were plentiful, but it could use some more meat. When I asked for the bathroom code, the Asian guy behind the counter said I can't use the restroom unless I order something. I told him that I ordered online, showed him my order on my phone screen and he proceeded to tell me that he didn't get my order. OK, no problem. I know there are signs that say they are short staffed but two sandwiches took like 25 min maybe they should hire more people and raise the benefits/pay so more people want to work here? You need to go in pick a bag of choice with your protein and then check off with a marker the added on choices you want such as cheese and toppings. Then hand that bag over to the cashier. Staff: Very friendly and explained the food process well. And also love the way the food receipts go down the line very efficiently. The Which Which is small inside but there is plenty of outdoor seating so you are good as long as it isn't raining. My last visit I had the light turkey sandwhich, which is always good. My brother had the Thankful Turkey sandwhich which is thick-sliced turkey, cranberry sauce, and cream cheese. Not the healthiest, but oh so good! All in all, I highly recommend this location if you are in the area and looking for a good place to enjoy lunch. I've never been a person to go out and seek sandwiches except the vietnamese Banh Mi's. But since I had coupons BOGO, I figured, Why Not, and I'm glad I did. If you've never been here before, its a fast casual place that lets you pick pre-set sandwiches, but you can chose to add extra sides such as: sauces, extra cheeses, veggies, etc and there is no charge. Although there are extra charge exceptions such as double cheeses or avocadoes. I've been here twice now and I'm really starting to like these sandwiches. My Pros: 1.Lets you somewhat customize your sandwiches. They already give you a guide so you're not standing there forever deciding what to put in where to make it taste good. 2. The most important for me is the Bread. I can't stand super hard bread that cuts the roof of my mouth. These breads are nice and crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside. 3. Fresh and yummy ingredients 4. Employees are friendly. 5. I have coupons. So, if you've checked off most of my pros, then it's safe to say you'd like this place as well. For fun you can scribble on a paper bag and pin it up on the wall so everyone can see your handiwork. More about the food: I ordered a french dip sandwich and messed it up by adding vegetables. I didn't need to dip the sandwich because the bread was very fresh. I'm talking about flaky, doesn't cut the roof of your mouth goodness. I tried the Au Jus and it was decent. Flavorful but not the best I've had. The ingredients inside were pretty fresh and the meat was tasty. The amount of meat inside wasn't particularly generous nor was it stingy. I can see someone having a problem with the cost of these sandwiches and the price, but come on, Subway is only slightly cheaper and way more stingier. This is like Subway but without those annoying people in front of you who are indecisive, take forever to choose their toppings, change their minds by the seconds, and take an eternity to complete their orders. At Which Wich, feel free to take all the time you need. Feel free to change your mind as many times as you want. Feel free to cancel everything and start your sandwich all over again. Nobody will mind because nobody is standing in line behind you. What a great concept! You pick up a brown paper bag with your meat (not the meat itself, but the name of the meat), then take a pen, step aside, and take all the time in the World that you need to select your add-ons like cheese, veggies, dressing, etc. When you are done, hand the bag to the cashier, pay, and wait for your sandwich to be made. All the bags form a line as the 4 - 5 employees behind the counter assemble the sandwiches. They work like a well-oiled production belt, churning out sandwiches one by one in the order of the brown bags. TIP: To track your sandwich, write or draw something on the back of the bag (which will be facing you) so you can see how your bag (and your sandwich) is progressing. I had the turkey club today, which is turkey + ham + bacon, and it was absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. I tried their honey mustard dressing and it was YUM! It is more expensive than Subway but the good quality justifies the price. Service was awesome. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by an employee who said "Which Wich" which I think is really cute and cool! She asked whether I've been there before and offered to show me how things work.
