First time trying White Cottage Pizza, and I went in with absolutely zero expectations. I actually only picked it because of a BOGO deal, so it felt like a low-risk, why-not kind of decision for ordering Friday night pizza with the fam. I'm not a seasoned pizza reviewer, but I am a connoisseur of carbs. I kept it simple with a classic pepperoni pizza. The sauce was solid, the cheese was definitely generous, and overall it hit all the basic pizza requirements. That said... it was just okay. Nothing bad, nothing amazing, just kind of living right in the middle. The kind of pizza you're happy to eat, but not necessarily craving. With the deal, it felt like a win. Without it, I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to choose it again with so many other options around. Overall, a decent experience and worth trying once. read more

I ordered a pizza online and my wife wanted extra sauce, and I love their sauce so I said great. Well the only option I had was easy sauce but can make it heavy. So I did, told my wife this could be an issue cause it's not clear but no option for extra sauce online. So I tried it and sure enough there was no sauce online it. My called them and they immediately understood what we were saying and asked if they could remake the pizza. They did and delivered and it was outstanding. Wow they have really gone downhill. I ordered Chicken Marsala and it didn't even look the same as it used to. It didn't have 1 mushroom in it. It's like they made it with soup. It used to have a lot of mushrooms in it. It used to be just chicken and mushrooms. I've really been disappointed the last couple times I ordered. read more

Very good thin crust pizza. Our favorite thing to get is the Rigatoni in Vodka sauce, yummy. We always add mushrooms (bc we love substance) and switch up between meatballs and sausage. Their stuffed bread sticks remind me of late night college Bosco sticks ordered from the C store but escalated to grown adult tastebuds. I mean mozzarella, stuffed inside a breadstick, then deep fried . Speaking of mozzarella, yhey also have really good mozzarella sticks. read more

Looks like we have a new problem with this restaurant. About a month ago, we tried to order a brownie and told that they were all sold out at the Wooddale store, so we just passed on the order. Tonight we called our regular Hanover Store. The brownie is now being cut in 1/2. It's not the same brownie either. It was dried out tasteless. And had powder sugar on it not chocolate shavings. And half the thickness. Called and spoke to the supposed manager on duty. Didn't seem to care, said they're cutting them now. Tasted awful. Garbage. No more Desserts now. read more

We have been ordering from White Cottage for years. Recently ordered 2 pizzas - one of them was not the pizza we ordered. They sent a delivery driver out that same hour to deliver our 2nd correct pizza. The White Cottage delivery driver wouldn't even take a tip because they had screwed up. Exceptional service read more

The pan pizza is decent but the Wood Dale location serves a much better version. The buffalo chicken wings were delicious.

Im really conflicted here. i think that management is fucking awful. Their workers dress like slobs and arent presentable. this one guy (slobiest of the slobs) with long hair not only looks and smells like he hasnt taken a shower in weeks, but is a dick to alot of people for no reason. they dont do deliveries to alot of places anymore, but theres always delivery boys sitting around on their phones. their mozzarella sticks are really overpriced and small, and their mozzarella garlic bread is mediocre at best. their actual pizza is pretty good, but everything else about that restaurant is bad. read more

A quality Italian restaurant, only wish you still served veal yummmmmm. Everything is good and I am always pleased with my order.

I don't know why it's so hard to always find a great pizza joint, but it is! Last week I moved to Carol Stream, and we spotted a White Cottage Pizza storefront in a small strip mall off of Kuhn. Perfect! I called in an order, and was told they "moved locations months ago!" The comment came off as a bit gruff, which was unnecessary. Like..I'm new here, you guys! There is nothing posted in the windows about moved locations, either, so... Meh. Anyway, we ordered an XL thin crust pie, fried mushrooms, and what I swore were SMALL canollis. My mom had to pick up the order, and I was surprised to see HUGE canollis when she returned. (No offense, but I would never buy $10 worth of canollis from a pizza joint.) Those fell pretty flat, but the pizza and mushrooms were good! We've ordered once more, and agree that the pizza is really good. It does seem to be on the slightly pricier side, IMO. I'm teetering between a 3 and 4 star, and right now will cast a conservative vote given the need for a bit more friendliness. read more

By far, the best pizza in Carol Stream. They moved (for the third time) and now have more seating, but I'm there for a take out pizza. Lots of cheese and toppings, and the sauce is very flavorful. I've had pasta dishes as well, and those are great as well. Look, pizza places are a dime a dozen, but White Cottage is consistently good. It's my go-to place and it's minutes away from my house. If you don't want pizza, I've also had their ribs which are also very good. Tender and just the right amount of sauce. read more

Gone downhill. Was once told they only want to take cash which was shady at best. Got rid of the coupons most people used. Terrible service and owner is rude. Pace has been terrible now which was once good. Plenty of other good pizza in the area. read more

We have been a customer of White Cottage in Hanover Park for years. The food is very good and reasonably priced, but now two weeks in a row they have messed up our orders. What is so hard about extra dressing? They had no problem charging us for it two weeks in a row and not placing it in the order. Baked Mostaccioli ~ the container came with the lid half way melted off and no cheese on top. I called, asked for the Manager and told her what happened. She was very apologetic, but I told her now two weeks in a row she has lost a customer for good. I'm not sure I understand what is with the workers today. What is so hard about reading a person's order and placing it correctly. It saddens me because in my opinion they have one of the best tasting menus in our area and now they have lost us as a customer for good. Stay clear friends. read more

The pizza is average and the breaded chicken wings are good but I agree with other reviewers about the masks. Sign on the door that says customers coming in require marks but on my last two visits an employee was not wearing one. Alll the pizzas we have tried are great! All the various combinations never disappoint - chicken ranch, veggie, supreme etc. We especially love the deep dish which is superior to Lou Malnatis. Had a pizza delivered to my home and the pizza I received was wrong. When I called back to see what can be done I was told its only one ingredient by the employee and that they would give a 5 dollar credit next time i order. Manager was also very dismissive and rude. Back on 10/31  we order a pizza for pick up/carry out @ the Hanover Park location and were double charged. I contacted the store a few days later, the person I talked to said he would get the info to someone and get back to me. A few days went by and I called back, the person again said he gave info to boss and would have them handle/ contact me. Nothing again after a few days  so I went into the store with print outs of the transactions to resolve. The person at the time seemed to be the person I spoke with previously , said not sure this hasnt been handled and took info and said will get it to the Wooddale location since it was location that could handle....still no call back. I then contacted the Wooddale location a week or so later, eventually got to someone named Tony, he advised he would handle, and let me know. Also at that time was told it was only $21 , and not to worry about it. That kind of got under my skin, yes it is only $21 , but it is my $21,  and now too much of my time. At this point I did let it go as i was busy with my own stuff and Thanksgiving time now, and so I just would check account for any credit. In December i had called a few more times got different people who said they would leave a message for Tony, but I have never recieved a call back from anyone at any time. Last week I called on Wednesday, got ahold of a person named Toby, who at least sounded concerned/aggraviated that this wasn't handled already, but said he neededd to have Tony handle this. He said he would leave a note for Tony to handle...still no call. Called back last night spoke with Toby again, he put me on phone with the manager on duty, she stated that Tony was busy with the Saturady rush, and would get back to me later. NO CONTACT HAS EVER BEEN MADE TO ME ON THE BEHALF OF WHITE COTTAGE. EVER. ALMOST 2 MONTHS LATER.. Is this what they do? Double charge and hope you don't notice? Dont fix it immediatly and hope you give up because it is "only $21"? That could add up across other customers i would bet..... read more

I have enjoyed White Cottage for years because their pizza is great, and I foolishly made the assumption that the other menu items would be just as good. I decided to order a salad today and it was the worst salad I've ever had in my life. In addition, after 45 minutes, my food was still not prepared when I arrived at the establishment. I'm sad to say I was not happy with the food I received from here. I ordered chipotle wings and did not expect to see chipotle mayo as the sauce to douse the wings with. Surprise, surprise, they use chipotle mayo as the sauce for chipotle wings and claim it will be spicy. Spicy?! Chipotle mayo is supposed to be spicy?! As one would expect, the mayo separates when you mix it with hot wings, and the end result is just disgusting. I also asked for blue cheese dressing instead of ranch, but I got ranch. =( I also ordered fettuccine alfredo. It tastes like butter and cream with no cheese flavor. I think the frozen tv dinner Fettucine alfredo taste better than the junk White Cottage passes off as fettuccine alfredo. read more

I ordered pizza for pickup. Everyone there I seen had a mask on. I paid cash so the cashier told me the price would be a little less. As for the pizza, I enjoyed it. I am a big time pizza connoisseur so it ranks up there with the top pizzas, not the best but definitely above average. As for price, it is little bit more expensive then average. The worst experience I ever had customer service wise. Ordered pizza stuffed and it came with raw sauce. Called to get a replacement and return the original and Roberto the manager became very confrontational and refused to replace the order. Tried a thin crust pizza here for the first time. They advertise their pizza as award winning, which is why I decided to try them out, even though they are more expensive then others in the area. It was hot when delivered, but the crust was tough as in being overbaked. Took it back but the manager refused any accommodation. No refund. No remake. No credit. Told me I should have told them to bake it lighter so it wouldn't be so tough. WHO DOES THAT? Never had to do that anywhere else! Told me that's the way they make their pizzas and that there's nothing wrong with it. Just a BS excuse. Wouldn't even look at the crust. He could care less as long as he got my money. Don't waste your money here for a place that won't stand behind their product and treat you poorly as well! There are plenty of other places around here that value you as a customer and will always make it right! read more

Food was decent. Garlic bread was fantastic. Pizza was pretty decent. There are tables to eat inside, with plastic ware and styrofoam plates. Rather chilly inside too. It's more of a carry out joint than a stay and eat joint. Lots of carry outs! read more

I have now ordered from here 4 times and they have made a mistake 3 times. I keep trying to give them the benefit as we like the food and they have given credit for problems, but this is a bit much. First time I ordered a pizza with green olives and was given one with green peppers which I can not stand. Was given credit even though dinner was ruined. Second time, I ordered cheese fries and was given the wrong fries. And the last time, I was told my food would be ready in 30 mins and when I got there on time, I still had to wait 15 additional minutes for one item while the others were sitting the entire time. It's close to home and the food tastes good but I won't want to keep dealing with this. read more

I ordered a pizza and they forgot to cook it I asked fora refund because I could not wait another 30 minutes for them took get me a new on and it still took 20 minutes for the manager to get me my money. Horrible service we ordered pizza on super bowl Sunday they said 2 hours we waited got the pizza and then they said it will be another 2 hours before it comes we waited never came we called and they said that it was never made and then proceeded to hang up the phone on us. I've been a long time customer of White Cottage. It's a good quality pizza for a more expensive price. I got a pepperoni pizza with roasted garlic and mushrooms, and it was AMAZING! I've never really had a negative experience with them, so they are a great go-to pizza place when you want better quality pizza. read more

Best pizza I've had in a long time. The reason for 4 stars is because they are a bit pricey compared to others, but the pizza is worth it. Wings are great too- Crispy and hot. They offer bone in and out. If you're in the area, this is definitely the go-to place for dinner. read more

The place smells weird, first of all. Employees not wearing masks. Then they don't tell you they add surcharges for charge card payments. Who even uses cash anymore?
