Delish French toast, spacious setup, and helpful staff! I enjoyed my time and food here.

Jambalaya. After I started moving it around. It looked even better when I first got it.

Great old school looking diner! Food was fantastic! Prices were even better. Friendly staff. Quick. Highly recommend the Jambalaya and Reuben wrap.

Let me preface my review by saying I have only gone here for breakfast since COVID. We used to come for lunch on occasion but since 2020 I haven't been in the office long enough to be around at lunch time The food is consistently good, not great but not bad at all. The fact that I can come in at 5:10am and get a full-service breakfast is fantastic in the post covid era when so many places seem to have forgotten about the customers needs or begrudgingly provide service. The service here depends heavily on who you get as your wait staff, 28 PATRICIA is lovely and attentive as long as she didn't get caught up in Spanish conversation by the takeout sign. She knows to keep my coffee coming and that I want hot sauce with my eggs. The Farmer Omelette is my favorite.

This diner has been a staple in the community for years. In high school, this was the go-to place for a late night bite. I have fond memories of ordering the "one egg" breakfast platter and enjoying a satisfying meal on my student budget. I believe the restaurant has changed management once or twice, but it is still well run and welcoming. Most recently, I came for brunch on Christmas. I appreciated that they were open 24 hours, even on a holiday. On Christmas, it was busy but we were seated right away. The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. To eat, I decided to try their huevos rancheros. Usually I go with their classic omelets and eggs, but I wanted to mix it up a bit. The portion size for this dish was huge. It came with a heaping side of home fries. Overall though, it wasn't my favorite meal. The salsa on top of the eggs was a bit sour. The eggs were served over easy and were super runny. The dish comes with refried beans, but I think whole beans would have served it better. And the home fries were mushy with very little flavor. On the positive side, my boyfriend had the pancake stack and enjoyed them. My dad had the farmer's omelet and said it was great. This omelet has all the meats and veggies you'd crave and I love that most of their breakfast platters come with home fries and toast so you end up having a very filling meal. Even though I usually stick to the breakfast options here, they have a huge menu with just about everything you'd want to eat. The service is pretty fast and the prices are fair. They have a parking lot which is very convenient given their downtown White Plains location. I definitely recommend it for a classic diner experience.

We had a Belgian waffle, nachos, and a veggie burger. Everything was incredible - I don't know why this diner got such bad reviews! The waffle was so warm and moist, couldn't eat it fast enough. The nachos we got with no chili and they added extra jalapeños to make up for it! My friend said the veggie burger was flavorful and filling. While the picture is after we finished our food, it's a representation of how much we enjoyed it all!! I will definitely pick this diner over others :)

Nice diner option in White Plains. Retro, feels like interior is original to the 50s/60s. Has an extensive pastry display. Didn't order any but looked good. Staff was friendly and it wasn't crowded. Convenient location and hours. Challah French toast was more like Texas toast French toast. Good but wasn't what I expected. Bacon was crispy. Would return.

I dont have time to go in and sit down but I have had many deliveries since working from home. Creature of habit, I order the same thing for Dinner -- Pancakes! I have never received an inedible stack (some more or less cooked) they give me 5 syrups, yea back to the best in a long time and I'll get a hand baked muffin for the next morning. Their phone or system is very hard to hear on and sometimes their parking lot is so busy, you may have to Park on the street. Next time, I will find the time to Relax and taste their food in person. Staff is attentive and checks in relatively often My turkey BLT today on focaccia was brimming with ingredients with nice thick bacon and juicy turkey--tasted great! Next time I'd ask them to double toast the bread but would otherwise change nothing. The fries and onion rings are fabulous-- seasoned (onion rings) perfectly, crispy and generous portion. On this somber Memorial day we needed to gather with friends and City Limits Diner was the place to go. I first became aware of City Limits when I saw the documentary of Vogue magazine's, André Leon Alley, who was a frequent customer at City Limits, before the pandemic of 2020 reeled it's ugly head. Somehow I knew, as a newly suburban transplant from Manhattan, it only made sense to visit the place that a worldly Vogue Stylist had dined as my diner destiny! City Limits is one of the most popular diners in Westchester County. You will always feel welcome here, the menu has the usual large array of typical diner menu choices, but with added flair. Every item is good, delicious and fresh. I really like a place that's always full of life, reliably consistent and welcome. Plus it doesn't hurt that a few of my favorite Yelp friends (and RL friends) frequent City Limits as well. :) 5 Easy Stars Thank you!

The chocolate chip pancakes didn't need syrup at all. Portions were good. 5/5 Only thing that didn't go quite as well was the wait time. Waited a long time for the food to come out. Understandable. It was a busy Sunday. When the food came out we were a few minutes into our meal and we ordered another side of eggs. Never came, even after we finished our plates. Ultimately asked to cancel the order, which they thankfully allowed. Keeping the review at a 5 because everything else was good and wait times don't bother me as much, but plan accordingly if you are heading to brunch on a Sunday!

Came on a Saturday and was expecting there to be a long wait, especially when the lobby area had two parties waiting. I was surprised when there were at least 10 empty tables and no one at the host stand. We waited for several minutes to the point I seriously questioned if this was a What Would You Do segment and started looking for John quinones. The party of two in front of us ended up leaving when they were told the wait for 2 was 30 minutes. We decided to wait the 30 minutes, and the party of two who came in after us was told the wait was only 10 minutes. We were seated shortly after. On the menu, there's a note that the Dutch baby takes a longer time to prepare but it came out at the same time as our other food. I was again unpleasantly surprised--the speed came at the price of quality. You can see how fluffy the Dutch baby was in the pic from 12 years ago compared to today's, where it was more of a crepe than a bread "pudding". Still tasted decent after you add the lemon and powdered sugar that they give on the side, but texture was definitely lacking. The side pancakes with our other dishes were a tad salty. We did notice managers walking around, so at least management is aware that there's something they're messing up. Hopefully they figure it out because this used to be a favorite.
