My husband and I reserved a block of rooms for our wedding guests here, and it was an extremely positive experience. Angela in group sales brought the price per room down to $169 a night (plus $22.80 in tax and the $2 tourism surcharge), which I feel is reasonable for Reno on a weekend. My midwestern guests loved that the hotel was non-gaming and non-smoking. Although the other casino hotels say they are non-smoking, they did allow smoking at one time, so sometimes the smell of smoke lingers. Not so at Whitney Peak! Official check-in is 3 pm, but many of our guests, and indeed ourselves, were able to check in early if we called ahead and asked nicely. My husband and I booked a room with a living room on their club level, and the living room was the perfect place for my makeup artist to work his magic. I love the contemporary decor of the rooms, the health-conscious amenities like the fancy water bottle refilling stations on each floor, and all the map artwork of the ski runs of the nearby resorts. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly, and the valet service worked extremely well and was well worth the $15 a day. We were able to work with their transportation department to arrange for shuttles (10 person vans) for ourselves and our guests from the hotel to the Nevada Museum of Art, where the wedding was held. We booked Sunday brunch in a private room at Roundabout Grill downstairs, and although we didn't climb our wedding weekend, we love that Basecamp exists on the second floor. The king bed in our room was extra comfy, the couches in the living room were funky and cool, and it was a treat to see the lights of Reno from our room at night. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the number of homeless people who hang out around the Reno sign. The hotel is doing a good job of making sure that the entrance to the hotel on Commercial Row is vagrant-free, but understandably it is harder for them to control the area in front of the entrance to Roundabout Grill. Where do I start. I've never written a bad review before, but this place truly deserves it, and others deserve to be warned. Carpet had stains all over it and was worn TV didn't work. Maintenance guy came to replace the batteries in the remote, only to say he'd need to replace the entire TV. It was late, so I said no thanks Soda machine couldn't connect to authorize using a card No ice in the ice machine Hands down the scratchiest, cheapest towels in existence. Felt like sand paper Toilet paper was so cheap and stiff, that it felt like using parchment paper You could hear the elevator ding all night long, even though we were two rooms over The hallways are oddly illuminated with red lights The outlets located on the nightstand lights were either weird sizes or worn. Charging block didn't fit. It bounced back and forth being too small and couldn't charge. Had to locate a wall outlet The vents smelled like dust or mold. Same smell you get when you haven't used your hvac for several months then turn it on (musky smell) The garbage cans were overflowing with trash They give you a card telling you that your can text them for anything, but they don't respond I can't believe the price I paid for this room. Overall really great experience. Their in-house restaurant served good lunch and dinner (breakfast was okay). The place is very pet friendly. They have treats in the lobby and it seems like they put all the dogs on one floor. The room was comfortable and their tv is set up so you can log into Netflix or YouTube or you can plug in your Xbox or PlayStation. Hotel is in walking distance of a dog park, the Reno arc, and several casinos (Circus Circus, the El Dorado, etc). read more

Have been here many times. Rooms are nice but a tad small. The location is wonderful in the center of downtown. There is an event space and yummy restaurant on site along with a rock climbing opportunity. Staff is always willing to help when they are not too busy. Thank God we only stayed the one night. Yes, the hotel looks nice, but don't let that fool you. The elevators are so slow and stop at almost every floor for no reason. Only 2 of the 3 elevators were working during our stay. The A/C in the room barely cooled. It was so hot all night. And the bed and pillows were atrocious. They should have been changed out years ago. The guests in the room next to us were loud drunk asses that were slamming doors, cackling and talking loudly until 3 a.m. so we didn't get much sleep. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors clearly. Definitely not staying here next time. read more

This hotel is very pretty and attached to the famous Reno sign. The area is sketchy though. My room was clean and large. Crisp linens, robes and slippers, fun art, tiny bathroom, one of the comfiest hotel beds, worst pillows. I have mixed feelings on my room. The staff was friendly. I booked directly with the hotel, but you checkout, was told I booked with booking.com and would get an emailed receipt. I still have yet to get a receipt and my confirmation did show it was a direct booking through Whitney Peak's website. I refuse to use 3rd party booking sites for any travel. First the good. The Staff in the concierge room and the front desk are really welcoming and helpful. Now the bad. We arrived when it was over 100 degrees in Reno. While they did a presentable job on the upgrades on the interior, they neglected the infrastructure. The Air Conditioner was set at 50, and it failed miserably. Since the thermostat was just under where the lukewarm air was blowing, it thought it was 67 in the room, but felt more like mid-70s the entire four days we were there. The shower was good, but the water didn't drain properly. I wasn't in that long and when I got out, the water had filled the bathtub 3/4 of the way. There are three elevators in this hotel. two work, one is being retro-fitted. It was a running joke with the staff, because it's been down since March. There was always a line to ride the elevator, the stairs were not possible because of alarms. The telephones in the room had buttons with things like, front desk (which takes you to the main recording) Housekeeping (sends you to the Valet), etc. Maid service was a joke. Every day they wouldn't come until after five. We requested an early turnaround each day and each day they came later. When we complained, the maid did not put a top sheet on the bed. For some reason they would give us three towels and only one wash cloth. I won't be returning to this hotel. read more

What a Valuable and Precious fun time with Family We went to Whitney Peak Hotel for dinner, it was a five star meal IMO, Appetizers we had many different varieties it was so good. The salads were all perfect, main courses, seafood, steaks and kid's meals, there were no leftovers. Wonderful waiter, Phenominal service and live music with many ballads and genres of all types. Whitney Peak is a little gem in the biggest little city in the world! My husband and I stopped with our pup for one night at Whitney Peak and we were greeted by nothing by kindness from all the employees at the hotel. It is super dog-friendly, offers beautiful views of Reno and the mountains, and has a really lively bar/restaurant scene. I especially loved that it was across the street from the Reno sign and a great dog park for our pup to get some energy out. I would definitely come back here for my next visit to Reno. read more

Dec 20, 2021 visit. Single night. Older guests, one on crutches. Entry pretty rough: no doorman/bellhop, no automatic doors. So we were on our own with luggage until we asked for and got help from a kind car valet person. Check-in fine. Room design creative, inspiring even. We requested and were assigned a disability-access room. But there was still a tub (not a walk or roll-in shower) so that didn't really work. Bed was very disappointing. Felt flimsy: when you sat on the edge it felt like the edge of wire springs on the back of your legs. Bed linens were also subpar, and the pillows were embarrassingly flat. However, our biggest issue with the room was the HVAC system. After a long drive we were very ready for a solid, quiet rest. But we were surprised at how cold the room was - 63 degrees. We reset the thermostat to 'auto', and the temp to 72, but it didn't warm the room quickly. By the time we woke up it was warmer - but only to 65. We slept in the bathrobes they supplied and tried to make the most of the flimsy bed linens. We did have a great meal in the Whitney Cafe and were served by a very professional and cheerful server (Celeste). We'll return for the food, but not for an overnight visit. read more

Stayed here a few times, but I don't think I will come back. Had a few problems. In the morning, I called the front desk to ask for a shaving kit to be brought to my room. Fifteen minutes later I spoke to the front desk again and their response was "we don't have those, but the lady who was working here before was new which is why she said it'd be sent up to your room right away." Disappointing for two reasons. I ended up checking out of the hotel about an hour late, which isn't even a problem at most places, so I didn't appreciate being repeatedly harassed on the phone while I was trying to shower and get dressed in the morning. I just got married here. My husband and I love coming to Reno and knew we wanted a Reno wedding without the casino feel and the smell of smoke. We loved everything about the wedding and it was convenient with the rooms in the same building. I loved my wedding day suite. Having 20 people in the room with me, only thing is the AC didn't feel like it was working but again we have 20 people. The space for the wedding has great. We have about 90 people at your wedding and there was so much space, it didn't feel crowded. read more

I chose this place because it was the best looking "pet friendly" hotel on Hotels.com. If you're traveling with a dog or like indoor rock climbing, I think this would be a great place for you. There's a dog park two blocks away and their on-site indoor climbing gym is pretty amazing. It is centrally located and a decent place to stay in a non-smoking, non casino hotel that's right across the street from the casinos, if you want to go there. The nicest areas in the hotel are the restaurant and the lobby. Otherwise it was largely unspectacular. No pool, but they do have a steam room and sauna in the climbing gym that hotel guests can use for free. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC was rather loud. Basically, don't come here expecting some grand upscale experience. It's better than a Motel 6, but also more expensive. Cons: the onsite parking is actually across the steet. It's slightly annoying to walk back and forth but it is what it is. Its also not free, but almost. Like $5 for 24 hours. Not bad. Also worth noting I feel like the air conditioner struggled a bit. My room stayed cool enough for me but it never got as cool as we usually have it. Pros: I enjoyed every moment of my stay here. Its seriously a beautiful hotel. From the friendly staff at check in, to the view from my room (amazing!), to how clean my room was, to how comfortable the bed was- I enjoyed my stay! I ordered dinner from the restaurant downstairs and it was delicious too. They accept dogs and there is an off leash dog park right across the steet!! Score!! This hotel is nice but it's not in a great location. So I could not give it 5 stars. Walking around at night is okay for adults, but if you are traveling with kids (even teenagers) you may want to stay at a hotel closer to the convention center. That area is much nicer. The most disappointing part of staying at the Whitney Peak is that the restaurant and bar closed early. There are a handful of good restaurant options nearby, but you have to be comfortable walking in a sketchy neighborhood to get to them. If you are from a city environment, it probably won't bother you. However, if you are used to a safe suburban environment, you will most likely not be comfortable walking around after dark. On the positive side, it was clean. The rooms are decent size and have amenities for business travelers. Several people in my party enjoyed the breakfast at the restaurant. The hotel has a dry and wet sauna. So you get slippers and a plush robe in your room. And there is a cool rock climbing wall on the outside of the hotel that goes all the way to the top. The hotel is right next to the Welcome to Reno sign and the river for some good photo ops. Overall, if your priority is value and quality, this is the place for you. I didn't actually book here in the end, but the fact that they are DOG-FRIENDLY is deserving of a 4-star rating at the very least. Yes, most areas are dog-friendly -- even the rocking climbing gym, Basecamp -- with the exception of the connecting restaurant on the first floor, the Roundabout Grill. We attended a wedding at one of their very large banquet areas and the hors d'oeuvres, as well as the dinner, were prepped by this kitchen staff. WOW! Some of the best food I've had at a wedding. The appetizers came in the form of their tuna poke on a sesame chip, 'chicken' and waffles, and fried crab cakes. The tuna poke was refreshing and their 'chicken' and waffles deep fried, buttermilk balls served with a maple syrup-bacon sauce were a delight. Rooms were rather spacious for the price -- two whole sections separating the bedroom area from the living room and kitchen spaces. Had I known they would be so large, we MIGHT have ended up sharing with our friend, even though he was hosting the wedding party. Somehow the rooms maintained a clean, decorative appeal despite having housed countless doggie guests. They have a dog park just across the street too. It had TWO very large sections for both small and large dogs. Plenty of poop bags and trash cans around the area. That is my dream: to find a hotel that would play host to my wedding AND my dogs! Eh. Whitney is for sure a 3.5. I didn't mind my stay at Whitney Peak. They got me in early the day of my arrival. The staff seemed super nice and personable. They have an onsite restaurant. The rooms are clean and large. They have the largest rock wall both indoor and outdoor free to use if that's your thing. I really enjoyed the free water stations on every floor. I really enjoy that it's a non-smokin/non-gaming hotel. I did not like my Keurig only had decaf coffee. I did not like the loud noise in my room from AC/HVAC system for about 30 minutes. I called to complain and the front desk wasn't that phased. They offered to have me change rooms, but this was like 11:30pm at night. I didn't sleep well to be honest, there was just a lot of noise overall. :: I may have also been jacked up on gambling.:: The shower wasn't quite luxurious and exuded more of a motel 6 vibe. Overall, a solid stay that I'd stay at again for its convenient location near downtown and close to the Truckee River and nice rooms, however I may try a different option first for fear of a poor night's sleep. read more

So, my partner had to make a very early flight for work mid-way through a week we'd planned to be in Tahoe, so we decided to spend the night in Reno the night before to make the early departure less painful. We had our pup with us, so we needed a dog friendly hotel. We have seen many advertisements for the Whitney Peak and thought we'd give it a try. Now, we both know downtown Reno is still mostly disgusting, while they are trying to renew the area, I wouldn't come stay in downtown Reno for fun. It just feels tired, has sketchy buildings, old casinos that need to be demolished. Anyway, the hotel is right next to the famous "Reno" sign and is clearly an older building that they've refreshed. We ended up valeting our car, it was only $15 since it looked like a parking garage would be a little bit of a walk and probably cost the same. The lobby was updated very nicely. Check in was very simple and then we went up the elevators to our room. This is where you could see that the building is still old and a bit warn, despite the updates. Upon arriving to our floor, we noticed hey've lit up the doorways to all the rooms with a red light - we joked that it was like the old Virgin America airplanes lightning. Our room was very large, and they had updated it nicely. The bathroom was very basic, but I appreciated that it was clean. The one disappointment we had was our desire to use the steam room. Upon check in, they told us it was open until 10pm. We went in the 9pm hour and it was already closed. It was nice that it was smoke free and had no casino, but I really wish they had a pool or other amenities other than the climbing center. Good new for dog owners, there is a dog park a block away so you can take your pup there to go potty. Would I stay here again? Maybe, if I needed to be in Reno for the night and had the pup. read more

A good place for non-smokers and pet owners. Found a competitively priced weekend rate on Booking.com (around $150/night). Decided to try something different since I usually stay at a casino resort. Got an offer to upgrade to the "Club Level" for $40 per night. A good deal that included continental breakfast, afternoon snack, and 2 drinks (beer/wine) per night. The double queen room was not big. For a hotel that was remodeled in 2014 there seemed to be quite a bit of wear and tear. We were in room 1508. There were visible stains on the lounge chair and dark footprints on the toilet upon arrival. The bedding and linen was basic but clean. Robes and slippers a nice touch. The bathroom and shower didn't give off a 4-5 star hotel vibe. It's a basic shower over tub with a vinyl curtain. The shower head is meant for people 5'3" and under. 6 footers need to squat a little to shampoo. This is a pet friendly hotel. I don't mind pets but I didn't like the barking dogs in the room across the hall. The climbing gym is unique. Self parking is $5/day and located across the street. $15/day Valet parking is located curbside by the main entrance. Depending on your comfort level of walking the mean streets of Reno you might want to valet. I never felt in danger but there are dodgy characters roaming the sidewalks. All the employees I came in contact with provided good to excellent service. read more

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. DO NOT stay at the Whitney Peak Hotel unless you don't mind sleeping in dirty beds, using unwashed towels and horrible service. When I checked into my FIRST room I performed a room check like I always do and came to find several stains on the bed. In addition to a filthy bed several accommodations like the tissues provided were replenished with little care. The room looked awful. I quickly requested a different room. In my SECOND room after taking a shower I came to find out that EACH of the several towels i was supposed to use to dry myself were FILTHY. I had to air dry before putting on my clothes because I refused to dry myself with dirty towels. DO NOT STAY HERE read more

I cannot say enough good things about the Whitney Peak Hotel and their staff. My daughter had her wedding reception here last night and it was spectacular. Allie and Maya coordinated everything and did an amazing job. They were very professional and were able to customize the event to my daughter's vision and made the whole event come to life. We all stayed at the hotel as well and received excellent service from everyone that helped us. Really delicious food in the restaurant and they also did the food for the wedding. Beautiful presentation and delicious as well. I would highly recommend the Whitney Peak for events or just a great place to stay when in Reno. We live just across the street from the Whitney Peak Hotel. When our building's water was going to be turned off for some badly needed boiler repairs it was a no brainer in where we would stay. Plusses: + Not a casino + Non smoking + Generous discount available + Really really really comfortable beds + Great views + Very quiet + Fridge and coffee in the room + Free bottled water + Free Wifi (basic service was good enough to watch Netflix) + Very clean and modern Minor Minus: - Some mixups in our reservations. We were not able to get the room we ordered and there was some confusion as to the discount we were supposed to get. I will definitely use the hotel again for out-of-town guests and maybe if my honey and I need another little staycation that is literally walking distance from home. read more

How convenient is that?! The room was so clean, I felt comfortable walking around with my bare feet and usually I need flipflops at other hotels. I've stayed at other Reno hotels including Silver Legacy and Peppermill - I would equally compare this hotel to Peppermill, only because Whitney Peak is located in the heart of Reno and is closer to a lot more entertainment than Peppermill. SERVICE: Very friendly and helpful. Warm greetings and they have valet open the door for you most of the time when you walk in and out of the lobby. AMENITIES: - There is no pool or casinos like our typical Reno hotel. - they have a workout floor including a mini gym, sauna, boudlering, rock climbing up the hotel's wall! (Additional costs) - filtered water fountain on each floor and water and cups in the lobby - located literally right next to Eldorado, Silver Legacy & Circus Circus, so if you want to gamble, it's like a 1min walk away - literally. Great change from the usual casino hotels in town The old Fritzgeralds has been converted into the new beautiful Whitney Peak. 150+ boutique style rooms No dank smoky or musty smell here. Come into the lobby from the Comm Row side into a nice simple lobby. To the left or off the Virginia street entrance is the new Heritage restaurant There are no ringing of slot machines- there is no casino here. Nice quiet We got to check out the 15 & 16 floors rooms. Great mountain views to the south. The rooms are sleek, simple, and nicely decorated. I did I mention no awful smoke or musty smell. Local photographer's art of the river area hangs in the rooms. I'm really liking those concierge rooms, limited access to the floor and a room to enjoy snacks and drinks. The hotel is also pet friendly On the Virginia street side of the building is a Rock climbing wall outside the building from the second floor to the top - for the real climb feeling. That floor also has a nice work out area, that if you are a local can buy a membership to use. For those of us less inclined or scarred of heights- there are three smaller rocks to scale on this floor, with lots of padding Cargo on the first floor is a small venue with a great stage. Caught a little of a performance there by a band. Space to dance and bar available Overall - so glad to an old building downtown given a great lift. I hadn't been to Reno in a long time and last time I stayed downtown, it was at Fitzgerald's Casino & Hotel. When I returned last weekend (Memorial Day weekend 2016), I found that I had a booked my stay at the place that moved into Fitz' old spot - Whitney Peak Hotel. I was thrown for a bit of a loop when I was trying to figure out where Fitz' place went and how the new hotel could look so different - entrance is on the side of the building facing Eldorado, no longer a Reno arch-facing, slot machine-laden casino entrance. I loved the "boutique hotel" styling of the lobby and the fact that it is a non-smoking property with ZERO gaming facilities (not a smoker, not a gambler, and don't like most of the casino grimeball accouterments.) The staff was generally helpful and friendly - shout out to bellhop Josh, a solid dude with a friendly disposition and willingness to help. As for the room...comfortable beds, nice toiletries, decent shower, mini-fridge was super helpful and modern decor and windows with great views that opened a few inches for some air - liked the room quite a bit (keep in mind, they're the same shape/dimensions as the old Fitz' rooms - a little lipstick on a pig syndrome, but nice lipstick!) Dings? Elevators were at times overwhelmed and very slow. Parking was across the street and in/out privileges required a $15 valet buy-in that had me fetching the car most times and having to use a filthy parking garage elevator and a disgusting urine-laden stairwell - ugh!) Bonus items that get separate reviews - Heritage, the restaurant attached to the hotel - excellent and Cargo, the music venue connected to the hotel - cool. The second floor contained rock climbing walls and the front of the building the same - not my thing, but kinda cool. In all, I enjoyed my stay at Whitney Peak and found the rates quite reasonable and the overall operation of the property satisfatory. Great for Dogs. I was thrilled to see happy dogs enjoying the outside fake grassy area. Clean room and staff were focused on setting a good example for masks and COVID protection. Had the Club Level and never used it. That's an extra $40.00 bucks a night. Got to witness two vallet kids racing up the parking garage. Confirmed as one of the vehicles was my buddies. They must have good insurance. No damage was done so they must be good on the sharp corners. It's surrounded by closed business and that's depressing. On a sold out weekend, my little big family enjoyed our stay at the Whitney Peak Hotel. It was Labor Day weekend, Burning Man, and the Nugget Rib Cook Off in the World's Biggest Little City. Speaking of the Biggest Little City... Whitney Peak is located right next to the arch, strip and casinos. As they say, LOCATION IS EVERYTHING! The property is nonsmoking and non-gambling which is great considering I have little kids. Tons of amenities including BaseCamp rock climbing, top of the line fitness center, sauna, steam room, laundry room and a restaurant. Nearby is a pet park, casinos, and a Starbucks across the street in El Dorado. (You should definitely check out the rock climbing on the side of the building/balcony because it overlooks the strip and you can take some pics next to the arch.) The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful during check in. We booked a standard double bed room. The view though was nothing short of standard. My kids loved looking out, taking selfies, and people watching on the strip. The room comes with complimentary coffee, free WiFi, 40" tv, refillable dispensers in the shower filled with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, mini fridge and so much more. Everything made my life soooo much easier considering I pack for a family of six. There was even enough drawers for everyone's clothes. Only con was not enough outlets in the room. Such a great experience, we hope to be back soon! read more

Whitney Peak is definitely the best option for the area, but not the best hotel of its kind. For the area this is a five, but as a hotel in general it is a three. I don't have any real complaints, but I can't note anything that was above average either. We arrived slightly before check-in time and waited in the lobby with the rest of the guests that arrived early. The front desk said there weren't any rooms ready yet. Miraculously 20 minutes later at check in time they had rooms for all of the people that stacked up to get into their room. We checked in and found that the room had everything we needed. My musts are a refrigerator and coffee maker. The room itself had a very minimalist feel. The rock climbing area was really well done and such a unique offering. They have several walls in a large room for those that want to climb around for fun. Outside there is a more serious wall for the more serious climber. Near the same area is the workout room. The workout room was clean and has plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, and lifting equipment. Another nice thing about the hotel is that they have a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That is a separate review, but I thought highly of our experience and food in the restaurant. Most of the restaurant menu is available for room service as well. If I was visiting the area again I would definitely stay here and wouldn't consider anything else in the area. We stayed at the Whitney Peak Hotel with our two small pugs. We initially had difficulties getting the correct room, but we were very pleased by how Alojz Z Paver, the Operations Manager, worked things out for us. Our room was spacious, modern, clean, and lovely in every way. We ate at the restaurant downstairs that was very good and toured the climbing gym area that was filled with energy. Our dogs enjoyed the dog park that is a block away from the hotel. We will definitely stay here again when back in Reno. read more

This place has definitely gone down hill ! The glory days of this being a nice hotel in Reno are gone I would not recommend staying here for sure! Back story: I travel for work and routinely come to Reno, over the last 5 years I've spent 45-60 days actually staying in a room at the Whitney peak. Fair to say I have a ton of experience with the place. First couple of years this place was great, loved it, recommended it to everyone, and I would never think twice about staying. This year though, and after last night, I think I've had enough of it. The building itself is poorly maintained, rooms are stain filled, wall paper is coming off in places, AC hardly works (yes even in summer), desk chairs are broken, tvs don't always work, and the staff isn't super helpful with any of the issues. Mind you these issues are present in about 7-8 rooms I've stayed in this year! It wasn't a one off, it's difficult to sleep because of how warm it gets. Wi-Fi ? Good luck. Never been updated and I can't even send an email at times, have to use my hotspot on my phone. 3-500 a night is routine now as they price gouge for their motel 6 grade rooms. Last night being perfect example. Typically I stay on the 15th floor since it's work travel but the hotel was pretty booked due to local events so I was placed on the 5th floor (no big deal). It would've been ok if it wasn't for the screeching of an air vent coming from the side of the building in front of my window. Call the front desk, their response ? Can you put in ear plugs ? I get it that there's nothing really they can do but 3-500 a night and I have to wear ear plugs?! Asked for another chair because I had some work to do and the one I had was broken off course. They brought, yea you guessed it, ANOTHER broken chair. AC set at 55 still won't get below 76 in my room. Watch tv? Speakers are blown out so the Samsung 50 dollar tv from 2015 is trash. Oh yea, watch something with Wi-Fi on my laptop? Can't even load Hulu app. Lol That's my rant and my many experiences this year and just last night 9/24 with this place. It's not the worst hotel but it's not far from it. Spend a little more money and stay at the Renaissance, that is what I'll be doing from now on. Hyatt place ( sure not downtown ) is also a great bang for your buck and they are at the very least consistent. The only thing I still like about this place is that they are pet friendly but Renaissance offers the exact same thing with better rooms, service , and environment. read more

Noisy all night. Poorly maintained. Rude employees. If you drink yourself to sleep after partying this might work for you. TV broke. A/C broke. Door lock fell off. Stayed here for my daughters Memorial weekend Basketball tournament and wanting to stay in a smoke free hotel was our goal. Pros: no smoking, the valet service was excellent. The 1st person to greet us was valet (TJ) he was polite, courteous and was above and beyond helping my family get settled in. Beds were comfortable and maid service was good and did a good job. It was nice to have soap dispensers in the shower which was cool from having little bottles for shampoo and body soap. The 2nd floor wall climbing area was great for the kids. Nice looking hotel Cons: The showers were very small and not very much pressure, very noisy from the trains and walls are thin. The front office would come off rude a lot of the time, which made everything we ask feel like an inconvenience. The parking garage they suggest for parking is very sketchy (like in other post). Felt a little weird when my 10yr old daughter ran from the elevator to the room excited to see the room and a minute later a security guard rushed to our room and said "No Running"!!
