Wasn't really impressed with this place. The decor and vibe of this place is super cute and I really appreciated that but the crepes weren't anything that special for me. I got the chicken pesto and the monkey turtle crepe. I liked how the monkey turtle crepe wasn't too sweet but it was very rubbery. The chicken pesto had a taste to it that I can't explain any other way besides weird. It just didn't taste right and I won't be coming back to this place read more

This might be the best restaurant in Poway! Great menu, beautiful and delicious food and drink options, and staff is always friendly and accommodating! The girl making our food was careful and precise in considering our requests (food allergies) and made sure to let us know of possible allergens present in the menu items. Outdoor patio is cute and clean. Will definitely be coming back here! Nothing but praise for Holy Crepe! read more

This small mom & pop shop is located across the street from Old Poway Park. We came here in a Sunday for brunch & decided to sit outdoors to enjoy the beautiful view of the park. We all ordered savory crepes & the seasonings were on point. I ordered the Southwestern crepe which was very light & pleasant tasting. We didn't get to try any of the sweet crepes since one serving was already filling. I'll definitely be back to try out their other flavors! read more

Delicious Crepes. I'm not much of a creep guy but these were delicious. I had the bacon & egg crepe. LG is the guy that helped us and he was great. All by himself and cooked and served our party of 5 quickly. My son had the italian panini and he really liked it. read more

I almost ripped into my southwest crepe and remembered to take a picture. From clockwise at 12:00 is the Vegetarian, southwest and the classic. Everyone was very happy with their choices. yummy . The chipotle says is bomb. I shall return one of these days. read more

I wanted to love this place. My group was so excited to visit after wrapping up a nearby hike. We were pleasantly surprised to see it was nested in a fun area adjacent to the farmers market. However, the place was SO smokey inside. Not enough ventilation for the cooking. The food was presented well but was of recognizably lower quality. Much of the contents of my crepe were charred to the point of being inedible (maybe this is where he smoke came from?). The lattes my table ordered were wayyyy too hot and tasted really bad. We ended up leaving them on the table practically full. I did notice the restaurant was mostly empty when we came in during a popular weekend time. This was confusing given all the great Yelp reviews. But unfortunately I can now see why... read more

If you like a raw onion crepe come here! We ordered the kitchen sink and another breakfast crepe; we decided to come here instead of eating at the farmer's market food stalls. We love crepes and were looking forward to a great breakfast. The shop was stuffy and hot upon entering. The kitchen could use some organizing. The service, however, was friendly and quick. Again, the reason for the 1 star is that these crepes were not only underwhelming but gross and lacking of the description on the menu. We could not find the egg in our breakfast egg crepes; it should called Raw Onion Lover's Dream. Will NEVER come back here again. read more

Just walked in to this place and it was disgusting. After waiting for someone to come take my order for 5 minutes I decided to use the restroom since I had yet to see anyone. The restroom was so gross. Redish brown stains all around the toilet seat, filthy floors, and no paper towels. After using the restroom I walked back to the front to order. While waiting I observed so much filth. The food prep station was a dirty mess and everything was so filthy looking. I'm glad nobody came out to take my order; I decided there were too many red flags and walked out. I've never done that at a restaurant before. The floors (actually the entire restaurant) look like it's never been cleaned. I would not chance eating from a place like this. read more

Sunday we went on our weekly cuisine excursion and came upon Wholly Crepes in Poway. By far the Worst restaurant in Food, Service, and Ambiance we've have ever experienced! Their specialty, crepes were under cooked and flavorless although the filling was flavorful. ( I had the kitchen sink). It took 45 minutes to arrive to our table. No one cleaned our table or any other table in the interior or exterior of the restaurant. I'm not joking. We would have walked out but we had paid in advance for our order. We order three drinks an espresso, Carmel latte and a dirty chia. We received a espresso and regular latte. When we reminded the waitress we didn't get the chia, she said it was coming. It never did. As we were leaving we ask why we didn't get the chia, the waitress informed us they were out of milk. So we ask for a refund she said she didn't have change only a twenty bill! This Flavorless, horrific service and filthy eatery is the be avoided by all costs it should be renamed to "Wholly Crap" read more

So it's deep into Poway where freeways don't go and it takes forever and a half to get to, but that didn't stop us a second time around. Good crepe places are like haircut places, seemingly abundant but not really memorable unless they mess up. This place is obviously fabulous, if you couldn't tell by the tone of my review. The plating is five star for a neighborhood hole in the wall. There are many crepe flavors to satiate your sweet and savory cravings. They include fruit if you get savory and you're able to get sides of items like bacon. The coffee is strong and the service is great! Great choice if you wanna get away from the crowds. read more

This place is a hidden gem! The crepes are amazing and everything is made fresh. LG is the owner, and he will treat you like family! They even have a gluten free option for those who want/need it! :) The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed. Even their dishes are really pretty! This is a hidden gem, the dessert crepes and breakfast crepes are delicious!!! My husband and I had a strawberry banana Nutella crepe and we shared one bacon and egg crepe. Both were supper delicious, but oh my I still can't get over how delicious was the bacon and egg crepe. The crepe comes with bacon, eggs, mushrooms, sautéed onions, jack cheese and chipotle sauce . We got ours with no mushroom, but it was so delicious and the chipotle sauce was great! We will forsure come back and recommend friends to come try this place out. read more

Got their strawberry banana Nutella crepe and it was delicious. You get a nice spread of Nutella, a whole banana and a couple strawberries. Fruit was nice and fresh, I don't think you really can go wrong with strawberries and Nutella. The crepe itself had a good texture, and a neutral taste, which makes sense since they use it for both sweet and savory. Overall a solid crepe "food truck". read more

My husband's aunt has been here before and told us great things about this place. Since we were in the area we decided to give it a try. You order at the register and they will bring your food to you. We decided to sit outside since it was warm. This place is in a cute little town in Poway. It was perfect for a little husband and wife brunch date :) Now the crepes are big and filling. I ordered the Southwest crepe, it had eggs, chicken, bacon, avocado, and cheese in it. With a chipotle sauce on top. It was so good! They stuffed the crepe very generously. Even though I was full, I had to try one of their sweet crepes. My husband and I shared a Nutella strawberry and banana crepe. With powdered sugar and chocolate syrup on top with whip cream on the side. Very delicious! My son and I came here to enjoy a savory and dessert crepe. Savory crepe was good the cheese wasn't melted all the way but it was still good. The pesto sauce was really good added the perfect touch to the turkey crepe. The dessert crepe was good he had the banana caramel and said it was really good just enough sauce. Not a good experience! My coffee cup was cracked and spilt hot coffee on me. Coffee was watered down. They had 4 carafes of coffee, I asked which is which (decaf, different flavors, etc) they said they are all the same. Weird!! The food was OK. People working were over their heads and untrained. Food came out at different times, so I was half done by the time my kids food came out. Will not return read more

This is the spot! Great service and great food. Elmer is the sweetest and always helps us decide what we are craving. He is good with my picky order and always gets it right. He always puts a smile on our face! I have been coming to Wholly Crepe since it came to midland and it has always been tasty. It is so cute right in the middle of old Poway! The crepes are big and filled! Sweet and savory crepes of all kinds, really fun menu options! Even a kids menu and student discount M-F. Very dog friendly. Free wifi. Toasted sandwiches too! They carry Pete's coffee and prepare it very well. They have also done very well at offering outside seating during covid. I have taken all my friends to this spot and will continue to support small businesses like Wholly Crepe! read more

She helped us find our five flavors with several tastings (I happily ate every single macaroon!) that were delivered to our home. She completely crushed it, 500 macaroons which really meant 1,000 cookies, finding there match which was no easy task but she took it on with the most joyous attitude and shared little previews along the way. Two days later the macaroons were still just as soft and delicious as the day of. We loved that our cake was also packed so that we could enjoy it or save it for next year! We stopped by after the Poway Garden Flower & Plant show. They're across from Old Poway Park & a little to the South. Very easy walk. Great stop after Aubry Park or Farmer's Market. Very nice staff. A young man greeted us upon walking in. Gave us time to look at the menu without pressure. Clear menu. Great selection. I even heard someone ask for a crepe made special per a child's request & it wasn't a problem. The young man & woman doing the cooking were really nice & friendly too. We saw people eating in & there is seating for that. We took ours to go. Food was REALLY GOOD. Generous portions & nicely presented. (Even in to go containers). We had 2 of the crepes & a panini. (There are 3 for this group) Really great tasting. We loved everything. One person in our group got an iced coffee & it was good. (Cheaper than the corporate places too). The prices are reasonable especially given the portions. If they weren't goid portions I wouldn't give 5 stars. We highly recommend this "Mom & Pop" place in Poway. I was very satisfied with the service provided here. The food was extravagant and was made fresh and quickly. They have a wide variety of food ranging from breakfast all the way to desert. Prices were iffy at first but after i ate my first crepe the price became very understandable. They are located in a nice area and have a staff that is very welcoming and nice. I came in one morning for breakfast and decided on the Bacon & Egg Crepe & a cup of coffee. The crepe...did not look like a crepe. Many of the other reviews show the presentation much better, mine was just laid out on a plate with no tomato, no greenery. It looked sad, and the bacon was badly burnt. Sadly the coffee was no better, happy to see it was Peet's but it just tasted watered down. I feel bad leaving this review, but I was incredibly disappointed and don't think it should of cost nearly $15. read more

We both loved our crepes, I ordered the chipotle sauce Southwestern crepe, and my sister ordered the Veggie crepe. At the end we could have licked our plates! This review has nothing to do with the food as we never had a chance to taste the food because we had to walk out and cancel the order after 1.5 hrs of waiting. Yes. We wasted that whole time even with several follow ups. If you are under staffed, dont take more orders you cannot fulfill on time. Dont waste people's time! Worst service. read more

Wholly Crepe is DELICIOUS!!! They make amazing savory and sweet crepes. I recently had the chicken, bacon, avocado crepe. It was yummy garlic chicken and a chipotle sauce. They provide good portions.
