I found myself at Wicked Wolf North the other day for brunch. Even though it was my first time here, WWN has been in my periphery for a while. My parents had been here multiple times for dinner, and I've been to the previous incarnation of this place in the Bronx. Always looking to try new places, I was super excited to check WWN out. WWN sits in Tuckahoe in a historic building (at least that's what i says on the plaque outside). Prior to WWN taking over, this was a restaurant called the Old Stone Mill - which was notable for being featured on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. When WWN opened, they actually "moved" from their original location in the Bronx and added "North" to the name. The original Wicked Wolf still exists, however it's under a different owner. The restaurant is pretty - stone exterior, outdoor patio space, an eye-catching bar, and a dining room with upscale finishes. I will say, the dining room is a smidge sterile, it looks like a ballroom or catering hall space with tables instead of a dedicated dining room. Their brunch menu is pretty standard - they have a decent selection of breakfast and lunch items. We decided to start with three shareables for the table: the table pancakes, BEC sliders, and breakfast tacos. The pancakes were fine, though they were more the size of standard pancakes - there was nothing really sharable about it except that they were in the middle of the table. The breakfast tacos were bland, and the sliders looked a little amateurish. For the sliders specifically, they came out unfinished, we had to ask them to add the smoked ketchup it said they came with on the menu. For my main I got something off of the "handheld" section, though I was a little confused since it only said "scrambled eggs" on the menu. Our server explained that it was actually a burrito, which sounded good so I went with that. The burrito was filled with scrambled eggs, peppers, and (I think) tomato and came with wedge fries. The burrito was, again, bland, I was struggling to find flavor. I also had to ask for the salsa and sour cream that it said it came with on the menu; this seemed to be a pattern because another person in my party also had to ask for things for their dish that did not come out. And while we're on the subject, someone else in my party ordered a BLT but it didn't mention on the menu that the sandwich had Irish bacon - that would have been nice to mention. Service was friendly, but there were a lot of misses during my meal. The ambiguous menu led to inconsistencies with what was served, and three dishes we ordered came out incomplete. I'm not sure where the root cause is, but there needs to be better quality control. The food also left something to be desired - the quality didn't match the overall aesthetics of the space. Overall, I wasn't really impressed with Wicked Wolf North - I would be willing to give them another shot, but I'm not running back.

We had a really nice Thanksgiving dinner at wicked Wolf. Prime rib was excellent, lamb chops were good but best of all the service was impeccable. We enjoyed the various appetizers of calamari, baked clams and everybody was pleased with their meal. Penne vodka with chicken was really good and the Thanksgiving dinner was a generous portion. Our waitress was a doll!

    Steak sandwich

Went here this past week for lunch, had the steak sandwich. It was delicious, highly recommend! And it's always great to have parking during this snowy winter.

Staff cars in handicapped spots for restaurant

Food at the wicked wolf is hit or miss sometimes it's good sometimes it's not. My main issue is that they allow staff to park in the only two handicap accessible spots behind the restaurant and don't really care that someone who's handicapped has nowhere to park . They told us we could park on the side of the road, which is very dangerous when you're trying to take out a wheelchair or mobility scooter with the traffic coming at you . It's a shame because it's not a bad restaurant. They just don't have any service skills and don't realize that they are actually breaking the law by not being ADA compliant and leaving the handicapped spots for patrons not employees that are able bodied.

Whether you come here on a Monday for Karaoke or after work to grab a seat at the bar, it's always a good time at Wicked Wolf. I know, it sounds like an ad but it isn't :) The drinks are great, bartenders are super nice, and overall great vibes. I've come here in the past for bridal showers and even a wedding. The food and desserts are perfection.

Gloria and Alesha turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a 5-star one!…read more We stopped at CAVA in Cross County Mall. Normal ambiance - place was packed, normal chatter in the air from all the dining in and customers in line. It was 3 of us - my wife, my daughter, and myself--and unfortunately they were completely out of steak. Not only steak, but they were also out of SuperGreens! Those are two pretty important parts of my usual order, and what made it more disappointing was that we weren't made aware until we had already started building our bowls. But then Gloria and Alesha came to the rescue and completely turned the experience around. Normal ambiance- The place was packed, normal chatter in the air from all the dining in and customers in line. Gloria was smiling, attentive, patient, and genuinely kind throughout the process. That kind of attitude makes a huge difference, especially when a customer is already disappointed about missing some of their favorite ingredients. Then we got to the register where Alesha was working and were told we'd have to wait about two minutes for our Harissa Pita slices. While we waited, Alesha offered the three of us a cup so we could share a drink in the meantime. It may sound like a small gesture, but THAT is customer service! She didn't make it seem like a big deal, wasn't bothered at all, and handed us the cup with a smile. Customer service like that just doesn't seem to exist as often anymore, and when you experience it, it deserves to be recognized. Despite no steak, I still put together a great bowl: spinach, black lentils, harissa and fiery red hummus for my dips, harissa chicken (normally I do half chicken and half steak ), fiery broccoli, Persian cucumbers, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, a little corn, and garlic dressing on the side to go with those Harissa Pita slices. Being out of both steak and SuperGreens--and not finding out until we'd already started our orders--could have easily made this a much different review. Gloria and Alesha are the reason it isn't. Great customer service can absolutely change an experience, and these two proved it. Give them their flowers! 5 stars because of Gloria and Alesha. They earned them!

Once alerted that my order was ready, I pulled up and grabbed a metered spot right in front. As I entered, the shop it was empty but the staff was busy working on online orders in the open kitchen. Seating is available at a couple tables and counter top. I grabbed a seat as I waited because my order wasn't actually complete. Staff was pleasant but clearly behind on orders. Once completed I grabbed my order and headed out. I went with the #5. Breezin- strawberry, pineapple, peach, w/ orange juice base and I added banana. Overall a local spot offering healthy options on the go. Just A Note: They are on Uber Eats but they also offer online ordering and you can get 15% off your first order when ordering directly from them.

For drinks, I had the Legally Blonde with oranges, lemon, pineapple, and ginger root. It tasted healthy and not too sweet. I personally wished I tasted more ginger in it. She had the Crush with apple, lemon, orange, peach, pineapple, and a ginger shot. Hers had the ginger and flavors mine was lacking. I went with the Captain Jack wrap with an impossible burger as the protein, vegan mozzarella, sweet potato french fries, lettuce, and bbq sauce. This wrap blew my mind. As soon as I pulled it apart the cheese just stretched across both wraps. The i.possi ke burger and sweet potato fries blended beautifully, and it had just the right amount bbq sauce to not feel over-saturated. I highly recommend it.
