Came in here for lunch the other day and ordered 2 bacon wrapped street dogs and fries. It took about 15 mins. to get my order out. I was the only one in there and ordered first before another drive-thru customer came by. The lady had my dogs ready but then she had to fry the french fries...I was like seriously? I've been standing here for the past 10 minutes! Took FOREVER! If you know the fries take a little longer to cook why wouldn't you throw them bad boys in first? Came here around 10 pm. Nobody inside or in the drive thru. Walked in got my order in like 10 minutes then got home and ate my chili cheese dogs. They charge extra for cheese! And the hotdog could be softer! The hot dog was a lil rubbery like when they been cooked already and forgotten. My chili cheese fries were the same! The fries were really hard n stale! That sucked.. I went in a few days ago, it was okay, but smaller portioned. I had a chili dog, fries, and chocolate shake and it felt like a kid's meal at McDonald's. It was a bit expensive for what I ordered. Zack is the best!!! We stopped at this Wienerschnitzel since there was traffic on the way up to Tahoe. We had our dog in the car. When we pulled up to the window, our dog would normally bark like crazy, but this time he just stood there and wagged his tail. I look over and Zack had a doggy biscuit and was asking my husband if it's ok he gave one to our pup. He actually buys them himself to give out when he sees dogs in the car. We only ordered a Sunday and a banana split. It took 15mins with only 1 person waiting for his order. When he finished the Sunday, it looked as if it was a kiddie size. Today I had the worst meal ever that I can remember. That is if I could call it a meal. Terrible is the word to describe our experience. The hotdog was tiny and looked really bad, and my wife had the BBQ cheeseburger that looked so bad I wouldn't have eaten it. Flat and so soggy I don't remember ever seeing anything that bad. I have have gone there twice for a chilidog in the past couple of weeks. 99 cent chili dogs for a limited time- yay! The first time I went through the drivethru and ordered a chilidog and a chilicheesefries burrito, the total was $2 something. I knew the cashier was disgusted with me for being so cheap - I declined the 40 cent cheese add-on, and I didn't order a drink, he asks "OK, are you sure that's all you want?". He grunted when I handed him my atm card and asked me if I can come up with the cash since the bank will charge him 30 cents to run my card. Not excellent customer service, but OK - I know banks charge an arm and a leg for everything, and I rifled through my car to come up with the $2.18 or whatever. So a few days later I had another hankering for Weinerdude and brought along all my handy coupons with me. I went inside this time, to avoid Mr Drivethru guy giving me the hairy eyeball, but just my luck - he was working the couner- ugg! I was able to order dinner for 4 for under 8 dollars and I could tell he was not very happy about it at all. The chilidogs are good, but the service leaves much to be desired. - And I think he's the owner! But all in all the pluses (tasty and cheap junk food fix) outweigh the minuses (meany owner guy making me feel guilty). read more

Absolutely horrible service and the hot dogs that came out were smashed and looked like they had been run over. The girl behind the counter was too busy making google eyes at someone outside to even pay attention to what I ordered and forgot to add my daughters items. When I asked her to add it she got very irritated. When I later walked up to the counter to ask for ketchup because the container was empty, she actually "huffed" and walked off. The chili fries are super skimp....waaaay smaller than any weinersneitchzel I've been to. Also they don't give you a detailed receipt of your order, which I think is a little sketchy. You just get a receipt of the total. I love chili fries but I'll never go back to this location. read more

Living in Tracy for many years, I have visited every fast food joint in town...and I have been grossed out by the filth, the stale cold food that I'm served, and the lack of decent customer service skills from the help, in EVERYONE of them. Then, I found this Wienerschnitzel! First, I have to say being a clean freak about food and eating, I am amazed at the cleanliness of this place. I have eaten inside several times and I've never been disappointed. The tables and counters are spotless, the food is always hot, fresh and delicious, and the people who work the counter are kind and helpful. I would eat here even if the food was much more expensive. Thank you to the gentleman who always works the counter or drivethru window. I think he might be the owner or manager, since he is always working. He runs this business like a top...it's great to know there is somewhere I can take the family for a quick bite to eat, and know we will have clean, hot food and good service! read more

The older guy that manages this place is ALWAYS rude. If you try to use a coupon or order one of the deals, he will make sure you get about half the product you would otherwise. Not to mention he'll huff and puff, roll his eyes and make you feel like hes doing you a favor by honoring the deals and or coupons. He'll also try to upsell you every step of the way, which I understand they're supposed to do, but not to the extent of being pushy and making the customer uncomfortable. I've watched him belittle the employees on more than one occasion. Customer service isn't just about saying sir and ma'am. Its about making guests feel welcome and want to come back. I am done coming to this location. We now drive all the way to mountain house, which I understand is owned by the same person, but some how, is such a better place to visit. The food here is just ok. Cheap chili dogs and corn dogs, but don't expect to get very much chili with your order. They are very skimpy here. My worst experience with this fast food joint is their customer service. There is a male worker here, whom I think is either the manager or owner, that really makes me cringe my teeth whenever somebody wants to eat here. This guy really hates coupons. You can hear it in his voice and see it in his body language when you give them to him. One time I had some friends over the house and the consensus was to get some chili dogs for lunch, so off to Wienerschnitzel I went and ordered a bunch of items, all with coupons, and being that I was taking them back home with me I didn't need any drinks. This place is truly a joke, I came here because I had one of those school discount cards. It states "Buy a Chili Dog get one free" (no mention of limitations) so being that I was buying for the family I got two of the 5 for 5.55 deals which is now 5.95. No big deal being that the second set should be free with the first set... That was until I get to the window and hand Veronica my discount card. originally my total was roughly 16.00 because of other things in my order. She then tells me my new total is 14 and some change. It doesn't take a mathematician to know that isn't right. When I asked her shouldn't it be closer to 10-11.00 and she tells me "No, you only get one for free." So I said "Doesn't that seem misleading since it doesn't state that there is a limit of one".. she quickly tells me " Well it doesn't say you can get 5 either"... So I said can I have your managers name because that doesn't seem right that they would advertise a coupon and not tell you there is a limit... She tells me well you can ask for Zach he's the owner. When they bring me my new order because I wasn't going to pay for the 4 free hotdogs. At which time I can hear the MOD ( Manager on Duty) talking to Veronica and clearly hear her say " Oh this is the guy, F*** him tell him he can do whatever he wants, Zach wont give a S***..." My husband and I decided to go out for ice cream tonight, no DQ in town so we stopped here. The menu is VERY limited, only chocolate or banana dip flavors for the cones, traditional shake flavors, and sundae flavors. My husband ordered a banana hot fudge shake: The girl at the counter(Lena) puts in 4tsps of fudge and 1/4 of a banana and mixes it. Wow, the skinniest shake he's ever received. I ordered a regular banana dipped cone, which Lena made with about 7 levels to it, she handed it to the dark haired teen working with her who put the wrong topping on it. I informed him it was banana only and no chocolate. He made another cone with just banana topping on it and hands it to me, it barely had 4 levels to it and was dripping all over. WTH is that ?! I proceeded to pay for this mess and the cashier says, we charge .35 on all transactions if you have to use a debit card. My husband and I were so disgusted at this point we paid in cash and left. They are so worried about making a buck that they charge the customers the card fees and skimp on product to their paying customers, won't be back. read more

This place is garbage..I literally sat in the drive thru and was lectured for 10-15 minutes about how I should have my ID. Paid for my food with my credit card. They asked for an ID when I stated I had left it at home he LECTURED me about how I needed my ID and how he could refuse me for service and pretty much went on with how irresponsible I was for that. When I called my credit card company, to see if I actually do need an ID present at all times when using it because I didn't think you needed it if the card was already signed on the back and I also don't mind ever showing my ID I had just forgot it this time, They asked if I had signed the card on the back. When I stated I did they had said I shouldn't have been asked for proof of identification and all visa and MasterCard companies allow for the customers to have the option to deny to HAVE TO PRESENT an ID to the merchant IF YOU HAVE SIGNED THE BACK OF THE CARD and they MUST still complete the transaction. Never coming to this place again. After all that- my fries were like warm and my chili dog was barely warm.. all that for barely warm food? And customer service rep.. save your automated copy and paste reply of how your sorry I'm dissatisfied with the service and how you'd like to get in contact with me to resolve it. I'm good read more
