Made a reservation, still took 20 minutes to sit down. Waited a hour and a half with still no food on Mother's Day. Waitress said they are slammed with online orders. Why would you not serve the people already sitting down? Many tables did not have their food either. The servers are working for tips for the people dining in, not your online orders. Yeah I'm not feeling this hence the meh, I've experienced better rating. Came in on a Monday afternoon before the afternoon rush, including us maybe 3-4 other tables occupied. Wife ordered the frittata, I got the surfer girl omelet, ordered the everything muffin, wife blueberry. After taking a long time for food to come out, 25-30 min, waitress forgot the condiments and when we reminded her, another 10-15 min passed before we got those. My omelet was plain, filled with avocado and topped with pica de gallo it looked good but just lacked any kind of punch. Wife's frittata was good, the everything muffin, idk I just wasn't crazy about it. Not really sure what it was trying to be. Our waitress was apologetic, and I'm understanding as the place filled up quick for the lunch hour rush. Hostess was "bussing" tables and cleaning them. What a mess. Told hostess about our wrong bill/service issues - she disappeared for 5 minutes - to the kitchen? Then our "real" waiter, not the "in training" appeared and apologized. Rather than removing the offending food from my bill, they simply adjusted for what I did receive and oh, BTW- they should have realized it was not good when they removed essentially the entire plate of food from our table. So sad..we need a good breakfast place downtown but this is not it. We have frequented it often but the service issues are ALWAYS lacking. Based on prior reviews I wonder if I must have gone on an "off" day. The service was slow from seating to paying the bill. Though, all service staff were pleasant. The food left a lot to be desired. The menu had looked so great, and I was excited to go here, but the delivery was not on point. The omelet eggs were thick and tasteless, the skillet potatoes were frozen-bag potatoes that had been baked in an oven til they were hard and dried out. My breakfast partner had the wrong food delivered but no one came back to check on us until I tracked someone down. I thought the bright egg themed decor was cute and cheery, and the food was reasonably priced. I will absolutely try this place again but I will hope for a different experience. read more

My husband and I drove through Indianapolis on our way to Tennessee so I searched the internet for the best breakfast places in Indy and I found this spot. We went on a Sunday morning and easily found free street parking. The inside of the restaurant had plenty of tables so we had no trouble getting seated right away. Our server (sadly I forgot his name) was enthusiastic and attentive. We started with coffee, which we both agreed was the best diner coffee we've had. Normally we find diner coffee watery and head straight to Starbucks after, but we took a to go cup of this coffee with us for the drive - it was delicious and strong. We also each got a mimosa ($2.99 on Sunday) which was nothing special but good. My husband got the Wild Western omelet - he opted to have it smothered. It was spicy, but had a lot of flavor. The peppers and onions were cooked into the eggs instead of being just stuffed in the middle which meant every bite was full of "stuff" which he really liked. I got the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict which was easily the best breakfast I've ever had. It had so much flavor and I didn't want to stop eating it. Probably my favorite breakfast place in the city. Their customer service is beyond great! The coffee is hot and always available, food is creative and delicious. That buttermilk maple syrup.... so good. They do have a full bar for the folks that need a swift kick in the am. My plan is to try everything on the menu! The food was amazing and it wasn't even the best part. I went last weekend with my wife and a couple friend of ours and had the best time. As soon as we walked in I was struck by how bright and happy the walls and decor were. That feel lasted the entire brunch. The staff was amazingly kind and easy to talk with. Wonderful wonderful place! Coming in from out of town and wanted to grab a bite to eat for brunch with the hubby. It was Sunday morning so i was on the search to find a place with bottomless mimosas #sundayfunday. My husband stumbled on this little gem and told me that it had recently opened for business. From the front door until we left this place was a hit! The atmosphere is bright and inviting with mostly tables and a pop up bar looking area for single dinner (pretty cute) with A couple o Tv's around the bar area. We were greeted warmly and sat promptly even thought the place was pretty full, we did not have a reservation. Our waiter came over right away and he was a hoot, I believe his name was george (don't quote me on this). He was super nice an funny. He gave us some recommendations on the menu, chicken and waffles being the best seller. I opted for the best seller and boy did it not disappoint! The portion size was great and the dish came with a housemade syrup that was to die for. My husband opted for the breakfast burrito and this thing was massive. He can out food back and he was only able to finish a 1/4 th of it. He really enjoyed the dish. The highlight of our meal was the bottomless mimosa! We resorted to having to reread the menu again to find what it said for the meat options listed. It would have been nice if the server told us the options. We also tried to leave our umbrella at the front but the host said there is no place for it and to leave it in the closed off lobby. Come to find, the umbrella was stolen when we left. It's so hard for me to find good service and he met every requirement. He made my table smile. He made sure we were ok. He was fast and he never missed a step. I went with 4 girlfriends to Wild Eggs for breakfast following our Sunday morning Yoga. We were greeted by 2 very friendly staff members who advised us of our wait time, and took the necessary info to contact us when your table would be ready. It was about a 20 minute wait, which wasn't bad for peak time on a Sunday morning. Then we were seated and waited on by a waitress named SHANNON!! She was everything any restaurant manager dreams of his wait staff being!! Her interactions with us and as we watched her interact with her other tables made the whole process effortless for her. She was an absolute DELIGHT for us to have as our server. She was very knowledgeable of the menu offerings and just spent that little extra minute with us v.s. the hurry-hurry you can sometimes sense from wait staff. She was even greeting and hugging obvious past customers who have been served by her as she saw them enter the dining room. So, with the GREAT food and the AWESOME staff, especially Shannon, Wild Eggs will be a place I am sure we will all visit again, as a group and/or with our individual families. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. I went on Sunday morning, it was my friend's birthday and I forgot to mention it to the waitress...nor did she address his birthday after checking our ID's for Mimosas. First off, you wouldn't think it would be as big as it is because of the location. You walk in through the door and the hostess is there, takes your name for your table (the usual restaurant stuff). While you wait to be seated, they have provided you Coffee until your table is ready... Before going forward make sure you watch the video I posted to get a description of the building....VERY high ceilings, casually loud, upbeat music playing in the background, very bright clean place.The walls are color blocked, the colors are a burnt orange, pastel yellow, very light /pastel blue-green. Where I sat, there was a horseshoe table setting bar in front of a flat screen television. Pretty neat if you ask me. Upon entering, most restaurants have a certain aroma in the air when you walk in, like Red Lobster smells like seafood, Longhorn smells like Steak, Starbucks smells like Coffee...well Wild Eggs doesn't have one, mainly because the smell of eggs isn't always pleasant but I'm glad that there isn't an aroma. I also uploaded 2 videos and photos of their menu...it is your typical breakfast food but very creative. Prime example...most breakfast places will have a Western Omelet...Wild Eggs serves a Creole Omelet (made out of 4 eggs, onions, red and green peppers, Andouille Sausage, cheese, and shrimp, with a hollandaise on top) it has a nice southern creole kick to it as well. Their potato casserole was REEEEEEAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLY good. They cut it into squares, made with cheese and onions, garnished on top. come to my surprise looking at the menu, they have a lot of Latin/Spanish/Mexican themed type of dishes like breakfast nachos, huevos rancheros breakfast burrito, breakfast tamale, and Chilaquiles, as well a Lox and Bagel Benie, Crabby Pattie Bennie (their rendition on Eggs Benedict), and they also serve lunch. The have a great variety of libations for the brunch pleasure both served hot and cold...always a plus! My meal came with a muffin or biscuit and potatoes, so I substituted those items for the potato casserole and pancake. The pancake was more than enough for me, it was huge, I almost couldn't finish it. It was light fluffy, sweet, hot, and the aroma was amazing. I was too busy eating my food to care how everyone else's tasted. I'm sure they love it just as much as I did because their plates were empty. I LOVE this place, its refreshing to me because it doesn't feel like a regular breakfast restaurant. It feels like Café Patachou but tastes better with more reasonable prices, but unlike them, it's brighter so you see everything and it doesn't feel cluttered. Back again with my 2 year old to give Wild Eggs a second chance and this visit was a major upgrade over the first. We were accurately quoted a 10-15 minute wait and when we were seated the hostess took care of my son offering to open his crayons and making sure his high chair was pushed close enough to the table. Very sweet and welcoming. Our server promptly took our order of a kids meal and the Surfer Girl omelette...yeah I ordered the Surfer Girl and I am glad I did! It was fabulous though I did subtract the cream cheese and sour cream and subbed in fruit instead of toast and potatoes. My little guy polished off most of his fruit, toast and sausage links and seemed very satisfied. The coffee was hot and fresh too. The service was friendly and efficient and I will definitely be back. It should be noted that Management reached out to me after my last visit and graciously offered a credit towards a return visit. The wild eggs off of Westport rd in Louisville, ky. The waitress was very rude. As I was ordering she was speaking to me very condescending about the amount of food I ordered. Never apologized for how she spoke to me. The friend I was with also noticed how rude she was being and even said something to me about the way she spoke as she walked away. Out of all of the places to eat brunch in Indy, AVOID. We were seated promptly and brought water (that's the highlight). The menu is decently large and very overwhelming. I was between a few things and on recommendation got the breakfast burrito. I cut into it and all I got was straight tortilla. So I tried again and got overcooked scrambled eggs and dry sausage. The server came back and dropped our checks (while we were eating which is extremely rude) and never asked how things were. The potatoes tasted like they were frozen diced potatoes, they were in no way fresh. The funny thing was when we wanted to pay, our server was nowhere to be found. As a server, I will never be back here. The service was horrible and the food was honestly inedible. I must have ordered wrong because my coworkers enjoyed their meals. I tried to get a manager's attention, but no one could be bothered. read more
