I have loved this place since I first started coming here in 2008. Definitely the best Thai I have had in town and I will travel from the north valley for this restaurant. Everyone I have taken here loves it. Pad Thai is delicious with chicken and shrimp. Curries are divine. Hubby loves their beef dishes. Soups are amazing. Love the corn fritters appetizer. I came here for the first time after a friend invited me and recommended this place. For the price you pay, this is pretty good Thai food. I had the Curry Chicken with a spring Roll and since I did not know the place I figured I can't go wrong with a pretty standard dish. It did not disappoint, it was spicy but not too much to burn my tongue and the dish size was just right for a full Lunch. I rounded it up with a sweet Thai Iced tea which is my favorite. The waitress was very nice, fast and courteous. I definitely can recommend this place and I am sure that I will be back at some point. read more

Delicious chicken pad Thai. Fresh ingredients, perfect mixture of noodles, meat, and veggies (for me, but my son would have liked more meat). I asked for spicier the 2nd time I ate it and they brought out some type of spicy sauce to add. I was disappointed because I like my spice cooked in. Perhaps they didn't trust me that I would eat it spicier? I made a ginger garlic chicken stir fry this week and I sliced 5 large jalapeños in it and it was fine. This place is really our favorite Thai restaurant in Phoenix area by far. The corn fritter appetizer is so yummy and I love their pad thai, which I usually get vegetarian with tofu. Husband and I decided to try this place out based on the great Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint! We ordered takeout, and weren't too adventures. I ordered the Beef Panang and husband ordered a peanut chicken dish. Both were delicious, the chicken was moist and flavorful, and the Panang had just the right amount of spice. One of my main complaints with the local Thai eateries is that they generally do not provide much spicy kick, but Wild Thaiger knows how to pack the punch. Definitely do not order the spicy dishes if you can't take the heat. read more

Let me say that this is by far the best Thai food I have had in Phoenix. The atmosphere is great very friendly staff we were seated right away and made to feel right at home. I had the strawberry Champagne Martini it was very well made. I must say this place is great for a first date anniversary or valentines the owner is wonderful I recommend this place as a romantic spot for a couple. Soups are wowzy spicy and the presentation is cool. Pad Thai is as good as it gets. Also the the Dragon appetizer.

Had the Chicken Pad Thai and the Satay Sampler for lunch today, something which I've ordered several times before. All previous experiences hVe been fine. This time the cabbage tasted a bit too much "dirt like" and maybe it hadn't been rinsed properly. I thought I could just push it to the side and eat the rest. 20-25 minutes later I became incredibly sick and had to leave work. 6 hours later, I still have stomach pain. Really annoyed I spent $47 for a lunch for two ppl just to end up with some food poisoning symptoms. I had been craving this place for awhile and it's the only time I've gotten sick afterwards. So disappointed. I love thai food but the waitress did not let us sit outside. We were the only ones there. Instead sat in a dark booth and when the pad thai came it was bland. She didn't ask level of spice when ordering and I had to add sriracha to give it flavor. Altogether it was a $17 *with tax* fail. read more

We had put off going here for quite some time because we feared it would be like most Thai places in Phoenix a disappointment).....but, when we finally went were were pleasantly surprised! The food was well prepared and there was a nice variety of items on the menu. They even had my favorite desert, the mango and sticky rice. We will definitely be going here again!! read more

I always eat here, since A) the food is great, B) it's super close, and C) the wait staff is really friendly. I've never had bad service here, and I come all the time. Although, maybe that's why I get good service, because I come all the time. :) I must admit, though, I only rotate through maybe four dishes on the menu. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. read more

Wild Thaiger was very cozy and inviting. This was my first time eating Thai food so I was looking to have a great experience unfortunately the service or lack there of almost ruined it for me. They were not very busy but it took about 10 minutes for the hostess to seat us. The server took another 15 minutes to take our drink order. The Thai iced tea was really different but very good. We ordered some chicken egg rolls and when they finally came or they were amazing! Our main dishes took forever to come out and it was just ok. The food was amazing. It was the fact that we stood there for twenty minutes and no one, literally, no one acknowledged our presence. We sat ourselves in a reserved table, and they told us they were short a cook and that was the reasoning behind the reservation signs. I would have rather been seated, had them explain the lack in staff and just waited longer for my food. This situation could have been handled in a more tactful manner. I went here when I was feeling a little under the weather and got the Super Soup. It was amazing! I got it spicy and it was most def really spicy! It was such a huge soup for 9$. Some dishes here are excellent. Some are not. Pad See Ew is one of my regular favorites, and I've never had one I disliked until trying it at Wild Thaiger. It had all the wrong flavors, and just didn't deliver what every other Pad See Ew I've had delivered. I'm fine with variation, but this was just a bust. Some of the more unusual dishes, on the other hand, are very tasty. Holy Basil Chicken is delicious if you order it to eat at the restaurant. However, if you order it to go, it will be badly overcooked by the time you get it home. I wish they took that into account when preparing it. Most Asian takeout does not seem to have this problem. I have many friends who think this is the best Thai in Phoenix. I hope they are wrong. So far, I haven't found better though. read more

I love peanut sauce and have had it at other restaurants. I ordered their Chicken with Peanut Sauce thinking it would be great. Ewww! It had a apple sauce consistency and tasted like a mixture of a lightly sweetened sauce and something that made my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth. It was probably the worst dish I have ever had....ever. I couldn't even eat it. My dining companions were equally dissatisfied with their meals. Their dishes did not have good flavor (or any flavor at all). The service was mediocre at best. I will never return. read more

Food was excellent, but we were a bit neglected on a slow Saturday night with the service. It might have been no dedicated hostess to greet and more of the attention was on waiting tables outside. There were only three couples inside including us. The food took awhile to come out and wife had sand in her broccoli for her entree. This place was a favorite spot of mine whenever me and my coworkers needed a good Thai meal. Centrally located, parking always available, and the atmosphere is so relaxed. I tend to go straight for the Pad Thai (which is a great choice here - you will not be able to eat the entire thing in one sitting, even the lunch portion), but everything else I get I enjoy as well. The one thing that I would watch out for is time constraint. My coworkers and I used to work right by the restaurant and were a little more flexible with our lunch hour. However, sometimes I did have to wait a little longer than I felt I should for my food (although they may have just been very busy those few times). All in all, a good grub spot! read more

Food is average and tasty enough but way not worth to wait for 30 mins for the two entrees at a 50% full restaurant. Not only waited for 15 mins for table while there were lots of empty tables in the restaurant, after ordering, waited for another 30 mins before the food come. Cannot imagine how long the wait will be if it is rush hours. Compared to California, the volume is much less. Price is about the same. So for a family of three, you do need to order three dishes. Thai tea is extremely sweet. Services is so slow that we are afraid to order dessert as we don't wait for another half an hour for it. read more

We started with the jasmine iced tea. Very refreshing and I didn't even add sugar to it. A couple starters. Lab Gal and Dragon Eggz. The Eggz were amazing. Keep in mind all the food brought to our table was presented as you would see in magazines. Works of art on plates. I ordered a Papua salad. Whoooweee spicey just like I like it. I had the chicken and yellow curry. Gawd it was sooo good. My fiancé opted for the wild boar dish. BC we were pretty sure they were true to the 3 pepper heat index he asked if they'd do a not so spicey version. he was thrilled with his plate. He said my 1 pepper index salad was spicier.... Portions are large and I felt that prices were more than fair. Seating on the inside is limited and very classy. We showed up around 630ish on Friday (night before Valentine's Day) and the place quickly filled up after that. Outside seating looked like a lot of fun and they have heaters out there too. If given a choice, I would have chosen out there. Although not a black tie place, people were dressed from way below casual to dresses. Service took a little bit, but very well worth the wait. The staff were very nice and informative. When we come back next year, we will be having dinner here again. read more
