What a pleasant place! Walked in the door and was greeted immediately! Was sat at a booth where I was greeted with water, fruit, and some sort of bean soup (which was really fricking delicious) I ordered georgene's special was once again greeted with an array of food. Was checked on throughout my breakfast..they create a warm and welcoming environment. They were not that busy when I walked in but got a couple more tables after I was seated. Would not recommend, we were greeted by a man (seemed to be the owner) with insults. He continued to hit on me and insult my mentally disabled brother and his chaperone. I brushed off the comments that rubbed me the wrong way and ordered breakfast. The place is busy on weekends and with a crowded layout and negative comments it is less than a comfortable or welcoming atmosphere. The food was okay, IHOP Is less expensive and about the same quality, one of our plates came out with a raw egg to the point where it was egg whites in an over medium Egg. I quickly lost my appetite. Overall the food wasn't worth the harassment in an overly crowded restaurant. Take your money elsewhere. I won't be going back. read more

VERY pleasant experience. Owner, George, and staff are welcoming and personable. I was alone, waiting for my husband to have a medical procedure. Felt comfortable immediately. Breakfast is good, coffee not so much but then I'm a snob where coffee is concerned. (I like my coffee strong with good body and real half n half. ) Prices are reasonable. First time coming to the restaurant and all we can say we had great customer service since we went in to our server Adam, he was very friendly, made us feel at home, he came frequently to check if we doing good or if we needed anything and at check out time the manager or owner of the spot she was extremely friendly, definitely coming back and highly recommend this place. read more

Love trying new places that I haven't been to before. Came here this morning with my SO, he had the classic Benedict and I had the country skillet. There is A LOT of food that comes on your plate! I have like 3 extra meals just with my leftovers. The country skillet has hash browns on the bottom layered with country fried steak, biscuits, gravy, then the two eggs of your choice. Pictures below is mine. The atmosphere is so friendly and inviting. Family owned and operated plus they have Greek menu items as well... George served us some of his homemade Greek soup! My SO was literally drinking it out of the bowl he loved it so much! They are amazing with customer service. Our drinks never remained empty for more then a minute. Every worker asked how we were doing and they are great with kids! I would give this place more then 5 stars if I could! I told my SO we should come here every Sunday! We found this place while searching in Yelp for a mom-n-pop type place. We stepped in & noticed how nice & clean it was . We were greeted right away. There was no wait & our coffee was served pretty fast. The waitress was friendly. The food came pretty fast . We ordered the french toast cinnamon roll , eggs, toast , corned beef hash ( was so delicious) red potatoes ( also very good) but .... what stood out the MOST was the owner! He is very gracious & hospitable ! He knows what it takes to run a business. I was browsing the fresh bakery display and mentioned how big and juicy the blueberry muffins were & the owner walked over & gave me a free one to try.. WOW.. how kind . We definitely will now make this "our" new breakfast spot! Highly recommended!!! read more

They have all the breakfast favorites from pancakes and waffles, to omelettes and benedict's. They serve healthy portions of everything. The service was also top notch! As soon as you walk in the Owner, George, greets you with a smile and makes it a point to swing by all the tables to ensure your meal is exactly what you'd expect. Hospitality was my first impression. We were greeted and seated by the owner George. The owners of this new breakfast/lunch cafe previously owned the still open Wildberry Diner in east Mesa. Love their food there and thought I'd give this one a try. We ordered breakfast, all meat omelet and chicken fried steak. They make their own sausage patties and from sampling it in the omelet, I found it was quite tasty. Next time I'll order it solo to be the star of the dish. Chicken fried steak equally good with a slightly bland country gravy. Probably would be more memorable if they incorporated their homemade sausage into it. (Hint;) The potatoes can be ordered hash or diced. The potatoes were not as temperature hot as I would like. They also have additional plate specials posted as you enter. Their cute interior is reminiscent of the former occupant, Beaver's Choice. Very clean and server very attentive. Am looking to come back again and trying out their specials..and such. I hope George will add his delicious lamb shank on his special menu. Yum! read more

Was looking for brunch spots on Yelp and came across George's Wildberries. Good reviews so my kids and I have it a go. From the time we walked in, till we left, had a hreat experience. The owner is fantastic, would walk around and talk to all the patrons. He even brought us a free yogurt parfait. The wait staff is exceptional, and the service was fast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. It was hands down the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. My son got the breakfast burrito and raved about it. My daughter got the fried shrimp and also loved that. We also ordered the giant cinnamon roll to share. I now recommend this place to everyone that will listen to me. Traditional Eggs Benedict is excellent. Red potatoes are a nice surprise. Couldn't stop eating them... Nice thick cut bacon. I have my eye on a few other menu items. Saw this place while out doing errands somewhat close to where I live. Was happy to see a breakfast place this close and wanted to try it. Read the reviews and was interested in what the menu and food would be like. We had an excellent meal with really good service. For the price this is probably the best value in the area for breakfast/lunch that is not a chain restaurant. My wife had the sicilian omelette with italian sausage and mushrooms and she said it was now gonna be a thing she craves. My eggs benedict was solid a little different than I was expecting but the hashbrowns extra crispy were awesome. Both my kids cleaned their plates of pancakes and eggs which is not a common occurence. Very excited to try Wildberries again in the future. read more

There is no doubt in my mind that owner George runs a very tight ship in his restaurant. Servers are pleasant, efficient, and hopping! The cleanliness is immaculate. The menu choices are several pages. Food was delivered within a reasonable time and was delicious. We even got a complimentary appetizer and dessert with our lunch meals. I got the healthy egg white spinach and mushroom scramble which came with an English muffin and a cup of fruit, and it was very tasty, although, I thought it was bad form to charge 75 cents for a side of salsa. They should just give it up like ketchup. No matter. Their hearts are in the right place. They are working very hard to make this place successful and they are succeeding so far. George is no longer, new owners. Plenty of Staff chatting with their "regulars". Attention stops when your food is delivered. If you have a complaint or need more of anything, good luck! Our food was below average; eggs were cold, the French dip had one slice of meet. Our server was MIA. The place is loud with the Staff chitchatting while doing their chores in the dinning room. Other Staff/Manager walking around all the time - it makes the place busy. I miss George, he was friendly but allow a tranquil atmosphere for his customers. I hope the new owners improve. read more
