My son likes the breakfast here so I usually come in a couple times per week. Today I came in and was forced to leave my seat. I always order my toddlers food to go for an easy clean up and I get coffee for myself served at the restaurant and leave a tip. I asked a server if I could sit on the patio. She showed me to a seat and i sat my toddler down. I went to grab his food from the manager and then he told me I couldn't eat inside the restaurant because I had a to-go order. He said I could leave or take my food outside. He grabbed my water and my keys off my table and it honestly felt like I was being kicked out because there were more customers coming in. I was there before the other customers and I'm basically a regular. I shouldn't have had to leave a seat that the server directed me to. I ended up eating at a small table inside the restaurant but it was not on the patio and I was very uncomfortable. I had to argue for 5 minutes to even get that seat. I expressed that I felt like I was being pushed out because they were trying to earn tips. As a black woman with a toddler. Taking my seat away was very inconsiderate and inappropriate. read more

Nice and gorgeous place, food is good, customer service is excellent. Tried the banana pancakes, great taste & presentation is appealing. It is cutesy but small, okay for smaller parties, perhaps no more than 4-6. We dined at the patio. Major turn-off, no designated parking, watch out for street cleaning days, yes street parking only. i would have given it a 5 star rating if they did, as convenience is high for most customers. read more

There's usually a group of people waiting outside this cafe on weekends so I was eager to try it out for the first time. Arrived at 10am on a Sat and was promptly seated inside (outdoor seating was full). Ordered some french toast, eggs, turkey bacon, and breakfast potatoes. Everything was delicious. French toast was fluffy and dense, and the breakfast potatoes were addicting - soft texture and packed full of flavor. Coffee was refilled several times. Would be 5 stars but they don't take credit; debit or cash only. And, they don't have corn beef hash on the menu. Owner came by to check up on us and was very friendly. Tip: Street parking can be found in the surrounding neighborhood streets. read more

Great little spot for breakfast! They had so many options to customize and order super healthy or indulge in some breakfast faves. I went with turkey bacon, eggs, potatoes, and whole wheat pancakes. It was all delicious! The rosemary potatoes were cooked perfect. The pancakes were fluffy. You can upgrade to real maple syrup for $1! I ordered a coffee which was typical and good. Everything came with so much food that we couldn't even find space on our table for it all. My mom enjoyed it so much that she went back for lunch! I definitely had to try this place after seeing great reviews and pictures of the food which looked great! I got the wildflower pancakes and a mocha, which were both great! The mocha was so rich and delicious and they even put a cute little design on it with chocolate sauce. The pancakes were very fluffy and full of flavor which i loved. I ordered a side of toast with it, and even though it was a little pricey i really enjoyed it! Parking was awful to find, but not much they can do about it with the space given. Was out of town for a family event. My mom and I were seated right away, coffee and water served promptly as well. The menu looked great when we searched online then the food was just as good as the pictures! I had the sundried tomato omelette and my mom had the eggs florentine. Both dishes were fantastic and loved that the roasted potatoes were red potatoes instead of russet. The portions were just the right size and the price was also really good especially for the quality!! I wish I lived closer so I could return. read more

I have never been to a place where the outdoor seating is larger than the indoor seating and not even by much. Personally I would not come here with more than 4 people. If I want to get seated a bit quicker, I would only come here with 1 other person. Wait was not as long as I thought, but it was a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend. Yea this place feels cramp and tight, but the food is great. I got the Wildflower Two's which is your standard kind of breakfast food. Choice of turkey bacon, turkey sausage, ham, and sausage with 2 eggs, fruit, and potatoes. Potatoes are meh, I am more of a hash brown person and the fruit was kind of sad. However the star of breakfast were the pancakes. I got the Wildflower Stack instead of toast. Out of the stack the Banana Walnut was the standout for me. Lastly, this place is only cash or debit which is weird. When I paid with my debit card the device also had the Apple Pay logo. I did not get to ask if they take Apple Pay too but if that was an option on the device I assume they do. read more

Cute place to have breakfast or lunch. Lattes are delicious, good variety of breakfast choices. Staff pre-COVID was super personable, now it's hit or miss. Then again that's everywhere these days. Only negative review goes to the buttermilk pancakes. We tried banana, blueberry and chocolate, and they all had the same rubbery texture. Very disappointed because they look delicious. Given that you pay $15 for stack of 3 pancakes, and that there other dishes are amazingly delicious, I was expecting the pancakes to be on point. Service was friendly but only ok in execution- ultimately forgetting our beverage order and not coming back for a very long time to take our food order. And then the food was really just ok. Nothing special and no complaints. But my husband and I agreed there would be no real reason to come back- especially with how busy it was. When we drive by now we don't really understand why anyone would wait to eat here? Maybe just people with a more simple palette. Oh and Indoor seating was very small and squished. The pancakes especially!! It's so hard to find really good pancakes just anywhere, 1thing the server didn't quite check on us when we got our food, but the food excellent, cooked fresh and service was quick as well. I happen to be working out here and found the closest place to where we were and this is where we landed. What a great little comfortable place! No waiting at lunch time on a Wednesday. We were greeted nicely and had great service. As far as the food, I had a fantastic Cobb Salad along with a piece of olive bread. The salad was super fresh and very tasty. We planned a 35 year reunion with our Bffs from our high school days and I kind of think that the fifth star may be a reflection on our spirits that day. Which was beautiful. Though I am in the area a lot I'd never heard of this obviously very busy place. Which had come highly recommended. It was packed and though I'd just picked everyone up from the airport and we spent our waiting time "catching up" it seemed like a short wait. The food was okay. I think I just ordered something particularly bland. (A breakfast sandwich with not a lot of flavor- perhaps a sauce on the side would have perked it up.) Though as I walked through the place to get to our outside table I spied some pretty delicious looking plates filled with fancy omelettes and pastries so I think I just ordered the wrong thing and should have really looked at the menu better. So I'll take the blame. The place was cute. The kind of place I'd want to take my daughter to and know she'd love it! read more

This is such a cute and delicious breakfast/brunch spot. I am a sucker for a good Benedict, and they did not disappoint. I got my Eggs Benedict Florentine with a side of smoke salmon and my goodness, was I super pleased by the end. They also don't cheat you on the amount of smoke salmon they'll give you. We ended up getting both their lemon bar and brownie as a treat, and they just melted in our mouths. Besides the food, location was also a huge plus. Right on the PCH, and only a couple blocks of a walk away from the beach. Great way to walk to meal off afterwards. read more
