I love this place for breakfast! Looks cozy with friendly atmosphere, staff is very friendly. They have various items on the menu, but I always order the Lox Platter. Love their salmon with capers (not salty like some other places, however you need to ask them for it, it is written in the menu). The parking is not really friendly because they only have 3 parking spaces and 1 handicap parking. If you are going on busy hours you would have to find a street parking. I come here often for their green tea chai latte, paired with the eggs Benedict. They only take cash or debit, the staff is very friendly, and I've never had a bad experience here. It gets busy on the weekends, so come during the week for no wait. It's hard to find a decent brunch place around here that doesn't over do it with their portions and/or overall "greasiness" of the food, so I'm glad for Wildflower because they don't do that. Finding sandwiches to eat is difficult when you're on a gluten-free diet, so I was thrilled to find out that Wildflower had the option to select GF bread. I ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich and it was very flavorful and filling. My coworker got the eggplant sandwich on the regular bread and also enjoyed it. Also love the different side options they have available so you can choose if you want to be extra healthy with fruit, or go the french fry route. Really great location and food selection. The salads are fantastic and the wraps and quesadillas are large! The burgers have been great for our 13 year old, and scrumptious enough for me to devour. My son found this place from Yelp search. We were very surprised by the number of the stars and positive reviews and decided to give it a try. This cafe is on a corner of a street and it had 3 parking lots for this store, if you are lucky you would find street parking. This is a cash/debit card only! I liked the Organic coffee and Organic OJ, but pricy. I wasn't very impressed by the quality of the food and the taste. We go to Laguna Beach often and you would find much better quality, better taste and cheaper price than this price. The powder-room was very clean. Avoid sitting inside because every time that restroom door opens, you will see inside! I thought this place was expensive based on the quality of food and wasn't very special. read more

Pretty disappointing :/ but maybe we ordered the wrong things! We ordered off the lunch menu. I got the eggplant sandwich. The eggplant was super bland and cut in huge chunks. I couldn't taste the pesto, and it made the whole sandwich pretty tasteless. My bf got a tuna melt, and he said the tuna just tasted fishy. Just overall mediocre. Finally, I decided to give this place a try but my experience was very disappointing. Let me start about the only two things I liked. First, they have good coffee, their coffee is perfect just perfect to drink it black. However, it was so difficult to drank it because my coffee cup had a strong egg smell yuck! Second , the pancakes, I have to admit that the pancakes were very good. I ordered the Wildflower omelette and it was terrible. It had no flavor at all, not even a pinch of salt or pepper in it, and the egg whites were not cooked through. The service was bad. Our server never came to check on us. I ordered the Sun-dried Tomato Omelet, which came with roasted potatoes, a small fruit cup, and toast. They offer several types of toast in addition to your standard white and wheat - I chose the Rosemary Garlic, which was tasty but not overpowering. The omelet was excellent - bursting with sun-dried tomatoes and covered with a hefty portion of goat cheese, which offers a nice tarty complement to the tomatoes. I also really like the portions here. The omelet was quite big but the sides were smaller than average, so overall I didn't feel like I overate. Wildflower Cafe is small but very cute with an outside patio area. I love the cozy atmosphere. It is difficult to choose what to eat for breakfast! The menu lists mouth-watering after mouth-watering entrees to choose from! Their entrees are delicious and beautifully presented and the servings are huge. My favorites include the Eggs Benedict and the Rancheros and if you have a craving for something sweet they make excellent banana walnut pancakes; they are large, fluffy and they don't skimp on the fruit and walnuts. I have also tried few salads for lunch from here and each and every time I have been satisfied with my choices. They also offer Mimosa's with fresh squeezed orange juice so yummy and excellent for brunch. Now, I am here about some pancakes! This place is super cute! Yes it is small inside, but it has the cutest outside patio seating. The menu has so many different things to choose from and there are healthy dishes for those straight vegans or those protein luvin carb hating muscle heads. I had their signature wildflower pancakes Oh-Em-Gee!! They are delish & required no sizzurp b/c they are stacked with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and walnuts inside! They are so soft and creamy from the fresh fruit, and the walnuts make it a mean party with w/ every crunch! PLS REFER TO MY PANCAKE PHOTO! All I know is that they serve extremely generous portions, my GF got the granola and yogurt fruit parfait and she could feed a village, but she only fed herself and did not share w/ anyone. Allow me to introduce you to both the worst service in Redondo Beach and the worst service I've ever had in my entire life. My group of three (and at least three other parties) sat outside for an hour before we were led to the outdoor patio, where we had our choice between four fully-set four-top tables. They made us wait outside for an hour when half the restaurant was empty! A server asked us what we would like to drink. We told her we were also ready to order, as one hour was a very adequate amount of time to peruse a menu. "I don't take orders," she said. "I'm not familiar with the menu". The service did not improve between the beginning of the meal and the end, but the food did make the incompetence a little less painful with each bite. The Wildflower Two's had crispy sausage, and I got the Wildflower Stack instead of toast. This pile of tasty pancakes worth every penny of the extra charge. The Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon were pretty good but definitely nothing special. If you're in the mood for salmon, I recommend the Benedict over the New York Scramble. At least the Benedict wasn't sitting in a pool of water.. The Grilled Portobello Mushroom Melt had a juicy Portobello, but the thick bread makes it pretty impossible to taste anything else, except the occasional hint of goat cheese. I don't know what was wrong with the Sun-dried Tomato Omelet. The omelet was tasty enough, with tangy tomatoes and fresh spinach and basil. It could have used a little more goat cheese, but I don't think that was why our server loudly uttered a four-letter word that started with F and rhymed with Uck twice as she set down the plate. My friend recommended this quaint eatery for brunch because of its décor and rustic, neighborhood-like feel. I had never heard of Wildflower Café prior to this visit, but its name sounded cute and my friend reassured me that the food--especially breakfast cuisine--was delicious. We went for brunch around 9:30 a.m. on a summer Saturday, and the small eatery--it's pretty cozy, but there is some outdoor seating as well--was bustling. We had to wait for about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn't too bad because we were just a party of two. But if you don't want to wait, I would recommend coming for an early breakfast on the weekends, as the space in the Café is pretty limited. This is a great spot for a ladies' brunch or just to spend time with the girls, as the décor is pretty cutesy and flowery (not surprisingly). I liked how the Café's quaint style made me feel like I really was in a cottage or someplace where I could escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And, even though the Café was busy during this time, I was still able to enjoy my meal and didn't feel rushed. Wildflower Café offers a great variety of breakfast and lunch entrees, but of course, I love ordering breakfast cuisine whenever I can. Here's what my friend and I ended up with, as well as dishes I wouldn't mind trying on a future visit to Wildflower: "French Toast": French toast or pancakes tend to be my breakfast go-tos, and this dish featured six cut pieces of French toast sprinkled with cinnamon and topped with powdered sugar. I finished my entire dish in one sitting; it was filling, but didn't feature a larger-than-life portion. The toast pieces were nicely cooked and featured a slight crunch, but the toast itself was still moist and buttery. Much to my delight, every piece of toast was adequately covered with cinnamon flecks and powdered sugar. "Strawberries Delight Pancakes": My friend had been to the Café several times, and she said that this entrée is one of her favorites. It featured chocolate chip pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped cream. The short stack was definitely a lot larger than my French toast--perhaps it looked a lot larger because the Café was pretty generous with the amount of strawberries and whipped cream on top of the pancakes--and my friend ate half and took the other half home. But the said the pancakes were moist and studded with chocolate chip morsels, which complemented the fresh taste of the strawberries perfectly. "Chocolate Chip Pancakes": Because I love the "Chocolate Chocolate Chip" pancakes from IHOP, I'm always down to try other chocolate chip pancakes at other breakfast joints. My friend's fluffy pancakes came studded generously with chocolate chips, so I'd love to get the plain version of this short stack one day. "Omelet Your Way": If I'm ever feeling like ordering something savory for breakfast, this would be one of my top choices because these "build your own" omelets come with so many available ingredients. You can choose up to three of the various ingredients available. I would probably go with turkey bacon, sausage, Jack, Swiss, feta or goat cheese or spinach, depending on what I'm feeling that day (but rest assured that at least one of those savory cheeses will be in my omelet). This omelet entrée also appeals to me because all omelets are served with roasted potatoes and fresh fruit and your choice of toast (more options regarding type of toast). I would probably go with the rosemary garlic or English muffin. This definitely sounds like a well-rounded feast. "Wildflower Chicken Strips": The Café also features entrees that are more suitable for lunch, and if I had to choose from that varied assortment, I would go with this chicken strips, considered one of the eatery's specialty dishes. This entrée features Japanese bread-coated chicken strips that are lightly. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these strips are served with side of homemade honey mustard dressing and the diner's choice of mixed greens (salad), roasted potatoes, French fries or fresh fruit. I would probably go with the roasted potatoes or French fries. I'm interested to taste this chicken entrée because it reminds of me local-style chicken katsu, but with Japanese bread crumbs (similar to panko). Can't wait to taste this savory dish one day. "Crispy Chicken Salad": This is the first salad on my must-try list because it includes the eatery's delicious hand-breaded chicken strips. The salad also features diced tomatoes, cucumbers, crumbled turkey bacon, shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses and a hard-boiled egg over romaine lettuce. I would order my salad sans cucumbers and tomatoes, but everything else in there makes for the perfect salad. This salad comes with your choice of ranch or honey mustard dressing, so I'd probably go with the ranch. read more

My love boat had the tuna melt with jalapenos and it was on wheat bread with crusted Parmesan. the sandwich also came with roasted red potatoes which were killer. He also had the banana nut walnut pancakes which were big fluffy nutty and juicy delish. I had the goat cheese pesto shrimp salad which was bomb. I pass by this quaint little cafe literally everyday for the past 1.5+ years, but I have never stepped in until today! My friend and I came around 8:20am on a Saturday, and there was only one table occupied. We were seated outside on their patio, and the server immediately popped open our umbrella. I ordered a small glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and the Wildflower Stack. The oj was very sweet! The Wildflower Stack consisted of 3 buttermilk pancakes stuffed with blueberries, bananas and strawberries. The strawberries became a little mushy, but the blueberries were good. Three pancakes do not seem like a lot, but I couldn't even finish half the stack! By the time we left around 9:30am, the place was packed! So I think it's best to get here early. I can only imagine how busy it would be around 10:30-11. Parking is limited with two spots in their lot. my friend and i decided to go jogging along redondo beach. thereafter we adjourned to wildflower cafe for breakfast. i like the setting, colour and decor of the place. there's a patio area overlooking pacific coast highway. a good place to take in a nice sunny morning. a glass wall all around the patio keeps out the pollution and noise from the road. service staff were friendly and prompt. their menu is rather extensive, interesting and healthy. we ordered the eggs benedict, a wildflower omelette, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. the coffee was great. we only found out that it was organic coffee when the bill came. the eggs benedict was perfectly poached and served with a nice piece of canadian bacon. the hollandaise sauce was also of the right consistency and quantity. yums. our breakfast mains also came with sides of mixed fruits and rosemary potatoes, which made the meal complete and satisfying. the wildflower omelette is egg white based, with tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, basil, cheese, and avocadoes. very tasty yet healthy. it also came with your choice of toast. our choice was the olive bread toast which was nicely baked. i also like how clean the place was! the size, condition and cleanliness of their toilet was also first rate! they also informed me that they are now opened only from 8am-3pm. no longer are they opened for dinner, sigh. well, you still have an 8 hour window to enjoy this gem of a place. read more

This place can be really good, or really off. It's fairly cute, and it has a nice outdoor patio, although you should be prepared to wait for it. Unfortunately, they've crammed one too many tables into the dining area. So sooner or later, someone's butt cheeks will probably rub against your pancakes. Last time I was there, I had a very good omelet. This time, not as much luck. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon. They put bacon on the side, scrambled and overcooked the eggs until deathly dry (instead of using a fried egg as it should be), and served it without tomatoes, lettuce or mayo/aioli. Lame. When I asked to have them remake it, they were shocked (do I really need to describe the concept of a sandwich to a restaurant?). They completely FREEZE like a deer in headlights when you ask for anything. "Could you put the bacon IN the sandwich? FREEZE. "Could we get some water?" FREEZE. "Could we get more napkins?" FREEZE. The waitpeople are nice, but they run around looking like "Dramatic Chipmunk" during you entire meal. A couple next to us had similar issues. She asked for goat cheese instead of jack in her omelet. I was visiting a friend and looking for a nice brunch place that had vegan options. While this might have been a Yelp error, when I searched "vegan brunch" nearby, this location was the number one location that came up and because it had positive reviews and 4 stars, I decided on this restaurant to go to. I was extremely disappointed to learn that there were only about 5 items I could order and none of these were foods I particularly were excited about. They were foods that just happened to be vegan friendly. Service: somewhat confusing when you walk in as it wasn't clear whether to seat ourselves or if someone was going to seat us. When we were seated we were asked what we wanted to drink and just asked for some water. We didn't actually get our waters until AFTER two other groups got their drinks. And they didn't take our order until the other two groups that sat down maybe 5 minutes after us got theirs taken. So overall somewhat dissatisfied with the time it took to get services. Ambiance: it was a cute little cafe/restaurant place with outdoor and indoor seating. Somewhat crammed inside and not much of a view from outside. I didn't really like how the tables had the poles for the sun umbrellas right in the middle of the table where it made it annoying to enjoy conversation with my friend sitting across from me. I order the soup and 1/2 sandwich and my friend ordered the warmed goat cheese salad with vinaigrette. The soup of the day was a carrot soup which I had never had before but it tasted similar to butternut squash soup but it was incredible. I am a big eggs benedict fan, and they make them perfect here. Their country style potatoes are SO good, just the right amount of crisp and seasoning to them. I have also taken nibbles of my friends' plates and everything so far has tasted excellent. The place is a little small, so be aware that you might have to wait. I love sitting outside, but the only thing is that it is next to PCH so you get a lot of traffic noise. The service is great as well. Since they do make everything fresh to order, expect to have a little extra wait for your food. I had the iced tea here too and it's the best iced tea I've had, it had a unique tropical flavor to it without being overly sweet. i will be coming back for more to try different things on the menu! read more

We wanted to go inside after asking to be outside... It was too hot for me. So that took a little while but besides that the service was good and the food delish. A very nice, small, place with all fresh ingredients, that really tries hard to make excellent dishes and truly succeeds. I would definitely come back.
