I recently got take out brunch from here with some friends because they love coming to Wildflower, here are some of my thoughts. Pros: The food was excellent and packed really well for take out! Large boxes, good portions, and a quick wait time all lead to this place being a great place to host an at home brunch. Cons: The only gripe I have is the price. The food is priced pretty high for what we ordered. There definitely are other brunch spots that cost less for similar amount of food and quality. Overall, I would still come back, maybe not every day because of the price, but the quality of the food is what would bring me back. A family favorite. A quaint little restaurant. It's like a house turned into a restaurant. Few seats are available inside and outside, so it gets very busy with long wait times during the weekend. Service has been great every single visit. No complaints. Food... chicken strips are crunchy and flavorful. The fries are crispy on the outside and creamy inside. Alfredo pasta is veeery creamy and topped off with grilled chicken. Sunrise sandwich is my go-to -- croissant with turkey bacon, cheese, lettuce, cheese, and eggs (to your liking). Delicious! Came here with my family and it was lovely. We waited for maybe 5 minutes for a table for 6 on a Sunday and we're seated on the patio area. It was a small area but not over crowded with tables so it felt cozy. The restaurant has a look of a house so it added that homey touch to the cafe. The staff was very friendly and took care of us very well. We were all pleased with how fast and efficient the service was. There was so many choices from the menu to look through so it was hard to choose between breakfast and lunch. I had ordered a caramel macchiato which was absolutely delicious and had the perfect temperature. I have never had a coffee that came ready to drink and not overly hot. I also had the eggs Benedict that was really good. The hollandaise sauce was a bit bland in flavor but it didn't stop me from eating the dish. visited wildflower cafe for saturday brunch! love that they have a waitlist via yelp! but, the catch is that you have to be within 2 miles from the restaurant they have a tablet at the top of the stairs, you can add your party to the waitlist or check in i had my frenchie in his stroller so we were sat on the empty side of the patio, which was perfect! the only complaint was that people just walking pretty close to our table, so it would have be great if they just closed that little entrance/exit or i guess we could have asked to be sat in one of the middle tables vs the end table service was great love that they are pet friendly they even brought out a paper water bowl for him :) the restaurant got pretty packed pretty fast, so glad we got there when we did, which was around 1130am i ordered: omelet your way: mushrooms, spinach, cheddar cheese and ham. w/sourdough bread and it comes with toasted potatoes and fresh fruit the food was delicious it wasn't at all oily or heavy parking: street, there maybe a private lot in the back, but lots of residential street parking read more

I came here with my husband on a Saturday morning and would love to be able to give it a 3.5 but as I can't justify it being given a 4, I need to give it a 3 and here's why: Parking: this place is located on PCH and their small parking lot has been converted to accommodate additional outdoor seating so we were left to find residential parking and had to walk a bit. Not a problem for two people in their 30s but if you have someone with difficulties walking or children, it might be best to drop them off. Wait Time: No host/hostess here - just check in on the tablet in front and see how many other people are in front of you, which was convenient. Our wait time was predicted to be 7-10 minutes but we were seated in less than 2! We were happily surprised by this because many other places would be more crowded on a Saturday morning around 9ish. Service: We were seated on their outdoor patio and though it was an overcast morning, the heat lamps kept us warm. Our service was super friendly and prompt - though my husband pointed out we didn't have one single server so it was hard to know who we were tipping. Food: I ordered the Wildflower Two's with a small stack of buttermilk pancakes and my husband got the Eggs Benedict. We also ordered a large glass of OJ (freshly-squeezed! Yum!) and the Tiger Spice Chai Tea. The food was good. Can I say it was standout amazing? No - and that is why I can't give it a 4 star. Though I will say the portions were a decent size and each came with fruit and potatoes. There is an outdoor dining area but it was cold when we were there so I didn't want to sit outside. The indoor seating is limited . Service was good and the food was average. I didn't see a parking lot but since it was early, I found a spot on the street. It might be hard to find parking once it gets busy. My husband and I love the Wildflower Cafe. It is a great option for breakfast or lunch or brunch ;) We especially like the Wildflower omelet, the gluten free strawberry pancakes, the Wildflower chicken sandwich, and the Wildflower club. Came for a weekend brunch and the wait wasn't bad at all, there's some cozy seating right outside the door after checking in on their tablet. Service was quick. We got the orange cream smoothie as I was craving a regular smoothie but that wasn't an option surprisingly, I requested less sugar and it arrived still quite sweet but a nice treat still. I got the wildflower twos with turkey sausage that were smaller than expected and the wildflower stack that was a bit disappointing as the strawberry slices weren't that fresh, were super small and there was just not enough 'freshness' in the pancakes for me to want to finish it. We also got the sunrise sandwich and it was standard fare, nothing special about it, wished the fruit cup wasn't a majority of melon though. I think this is a good spot for occasional brunch but I'd love to see more drink options added and the pancakes to be upgraded in some way. read more
