Such a small business vibe with warm and friendly older ladies keeping the place tidy and helping at the counter. Great service in general. Their products looked so so pretty and inviting. We really love this donut shop and have been frequenting it a lot lately. The service is always great and the donuts are fresh and yummy. I really like the ham and cheese croissants with jalapeño. If they're sold out, they will make you one in a jiffy. Some of my go to donuts here are the buttermilk old fashioned, old fashioned, glazed twist and chocolate bars. My son even loves their sugar donuts, and lets be real- who even likes a sugar donut to begin with?! He does! and says theirs are really good. My son loves this place and orders all sorts of menu items from sandwiches to strawberry and banana smoothies, donuts and croissants. This is a solid option if you're looking for a down home, classic donut shop (which are my favorite type!). Well I know it is hard to give donut shops a bad review since most, not all but most taste the same, so technically it does not matter where you get your donuts. Where the difference is, is in the freshness. The few times I have been here the donuts are cold and doubt they are made early in the morning. I have tried some of their sandwiches and I have to say, for breakfast, very few local places beat this place, which added at least one star. I came here a few days ago and got a ham and cheese croissant and an apple fritter and I was disappointed in both. The croissant although warm and flaky, very little ham and cheese, could barely taste it. The apple fritter was cold and too sweet for my liking. October 25th, 2019 I hate to write bad reviews but if I don't let the owner of this Donuts place be aware of her food is old. And she knows her food is old and she still sale to the public that's very dangerous!!! Because I eat one and upset my stomach all day and I have to run to an urgent care to get treat my stomach because so painful!!! That is not cute your food is old and you re-sale it and the customers the one that buy food from this Donuts place and eat and the customers they get their stomach upset and so painful!!! I am an out-of-towner just in the area for one night and was looking for a quicker, good breakfast sandwich spot and came across this place. The outside looked a little sketchy and we almost decided to go elsewhere, but ended up parking and going in. First great decision of 2022. The breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, bagel) was delicious. Great ingredients. It was freshly cooked. Just really well done and only took a few minutes to make. My daughter ordered a smoothie and really liked it. I didn't have any intention of getting a donut, but after looking at them, we ended up walking out with three! All were great! We were really glad we stopped! Just discovered this place over the Memorial Day weekend as my sister told us about their Thai iced tea. I don't drink coffee or tea so I decided to go for the peach mango shake with boba instead. Awwww... Disappointing doughnuts are the worst. We got a half dozen with two sprinkle doughnuts, one custard-filled, a maple bar, an old-fashioned, and one chocolate glazed. The maple bar topping was crunchy and the bar slightly stale, and neither was particularly sweet or flavorful. The custard didn't taste like much of anything, either. The sprinkle doughnuts were alright, but I feel like sprinkles are hard to mess up. The price wasn't outrageous to me, but doughnuts come at pretty standard prices across the board. I'm not offended that I had to pay, what, $4.50 for a half dozen? Even if they weren't that good. Not good... Not impressed. read more

This donut place is right next to In N Out on Van Nuys Blvd. I came here around 7pm and they still had quite a bit of a selection. When I got home, I ate the glazed donut and you can actually taste the oil on it and the oil they fried it in did not taste fresh at all. It had a bit of a weird taste to it. I don't think I would come back here, but if I'm in a pinch and happen to be at In N Out, then I might stop by. read more

Half a dozen donuts and two small decaf coffees and a $13.50 bill! Insanity. They charge $1.50 to use a debit card and then an additional $2 they definitely did not tell me about, instead they charge it in a separate transaction!!! (I have the bank transactions to prove it) I know it's just $2 but It's my money!!!! The food: tasted old and crunchy. I don't want what tastes like old donuts!!. And it was 11:00 in the morning, I can't even fathom the thought of what their donuts taste like in the afternoon. The coffee was pleasant, but it's hard to screw up coffee lol and they have the sugar and cream at the register, where other people are trying to order. You have to ask for napkins where at other donuts places they automatically put them in the bag for you, common sense. A great donut and sandwich shop! With some good coffee to wash it down. The owners are really nice and their prices just can't be beat. Their donuts are delicious, I usually get their jelly filled donuts or their buttermilk bars. Oh and you can't forget their $2.50 sandwiches. They've got a small shop but there is seating available if you wanted to stay inside and enjoy your food. Parking is not an issues as there is a massive lot for all of the nearby businesses. I really have nothing to complain about for this place... I work nearby, so it's a quick, affordable place to go on my break. I mean $2.50 for a sandwich? Insane! And the sandwiches always taste fresh and delicious. Also, $1.50 for an iced coffee is fantastic in my book! They always add the perfect amount of cream and sugar, too! I've never tried to use a card here (it's seems like a family owned shop... I would expect to pay a fee for a credit card here...), so just bring cash! It's simple, and they don't charge tax. Delicious! Their sandwiches taste exactly like my grandma's. Homemade, simple, and fresh. The lettuce is always bright and crispy. I always feel like I ate something healthy I made but the difference is that it tastes way better here. They have different breakfast sandwiches that include the typical breakfast items of sausage, egg, ham, etc. For lunch you can have the chicken sandwiches, or pastrami. Their donuts are good all day. This guy is constantly selling. There were 9 donuts when I started writing this review. Twenty mins later there's only one left ! Haha.
