    Fried shrimp. $20.

After my last poor review for Willie's they reached out to me and invited me to give them another try; which I did tonight. My experience today was a lot better. I did a momma/daughter outing and we got the crawfish, shrimp, and crab boil. We enjoyed the crab and shrimp, but learned that we don't care for crawfish very much. We finished our meal with the bread pudding. It was so good, and I WILL return just for the dessert. The manager (Caleb) came to check on us and our waitress was appropriately attentive. Afterwards, we went shopping and then we returned to Willie's to get take out for my husband. He enjoyed his icehouse burger and loaded fries. I agree that it was delicious. We, also, tried the brisket Mac 'n cheese bites. This was not our favorite, but the dipping sauce was yummy. I am Glad we came back, and will continue to return and try other things on the menu.

Picked up curbside for my family tonight. My daughter selected no cheese and fried chicken on her salad. It came out the opposite, grilled chicken with cheese, so she spent 15 min picking the cheese out.

I've been Willie as few times. Each time I ask myself why I'm back here. This was final trip. Ordered the chicken fried chicken with some onion rings. Wife also got the chicken. It was so thin and dry if it weren't for gravy, I don't think I could've choked it down. I mean come on, I've had chicken cutlet sammiches that were thicker. The food is always meh at best. I won't give them another chance to let me down.

I've been here several times but it seems to have improved in quality. I enjoyed my meal, and left with way too much food to go. Really underestimated the size of that sampler. The catfish is pretty good but I could probably skip the shrimp... The service is always good and the restaurant is clean. Not a bad place to spend an evening with friends and have a couple drinks!

Such a solid lunch spot. The patio was open today and was so nice. Fried fish is my go-to!

I can not say enough about the fried catfish. It was by far the best fish i have had in a while. I ordered the shrimp and catfish combo. Definitely a great choice. My family says everything is good and they come here often. This was my first time and I will be back soon.

Always enjoy Willie's. Have never had a bad meal. Services is always so friendly! It can tend to be loud when it's full but it is not overwhelming. Started with chips and queso. The fresh salsa was a tad spicy which was nice for a chilly evening. Chips always fresh! Had the dozen shrimp boil. Corn and potatoes nice and spicy as well. Very flavorful. Shrimp cooked to perfection! Other party had the bacon cheeseburger. Cooked perfectly as well. Seasoned greatly. A real delight. Fries very fresh. Really enjoy Willie's!

Super mid. The Caesar salad was flavorless and disappointing. For the price, it was not worth going. I feel like I wasted $60 coming here.

Popped in on a whim after shopping at Old Navy a few doors down. VIBE: Very pleasant seafood restaurant vibe. I didn't feel like I was inside a massive shopping center -- it had a nice seaside charm. At the same time, it was very welcoming and unpretentious. Casual, not at all stuffy in any way. MENU/FOOD: Great! Ample diversity. Whether you want to stuff your face full of fried food or eat healthy, they've got it. I had the Omega Bowl (salmon + rice + veggies) and it was delicious. We also shared the coconut shrimp -- really good. I almost forgot -- my kid's burger came with French fries and they were great -- I stole most of them. KIDS: At first, it didn't seem like a particularly kid-friendly spot (I didn't actually see any other kids there during brunch on a Sunday). However, we felt very welcome with our two toddlers (3.5 and 1.5). They have high chairs and a kids menu (a mix of fried seafood and usual stuff like hamburger). Additionally, both our waitress and the manager (who were extremely kind and understanding) both mentioned having kids as well. SERVICE: Excellent. Our waitress (Sarah, I believe) was very nice and attentive. The manager stopped by to see how we were doing -- also very nice. The hostess? I'll let you guess... also very nice. Even held the door for me when I was leaving since I had a small baby stroller (believe it or not, that's somewhat rare).

The website mentioned reservations but accepting walk-ins also; my wife made a reservation for 8 at 7:40p, and that turned out well, as the couple in front of us hadn't done so & went out front to wait. We had a very attentive waitress, & sat on a raised stage by the window which was cool, but note: tall chairs there maybe not great for short legs. When she poured our water we didn't have to request, she left the carafe, which I supposed was a labor saving idea --until she came back repeatedly and refilled our glasses with it! It aided our date night that the two flat screens had artworks displayed not a basketball game or Chive videos of folks getting injured for 15 seconds of fame. Menu is in the upper middle price range for us but we did an easy work-around to get some upscale food, anyway:: We ordered a bowl of gumbo from the appetizer list, with two spoons; (yeah, been married 41 years)... Arrived perfect temp, not to hot to dig right in. The 6 crab claws broken to expose the meat were a nice touch we've never seen; we try everyone's gumbo: prolly the best we've had recently if ever. Continuing that theme, we shared the 14 oz Japanese style (name recipes me) new horn strip, truly too much for one normal appetite: the already flavorful tender steak was helped even more by a unique brown sauce with capers: and my Dad said a good steak doesn't NEED any help. Well, this steak was so good let's just say "the sauce was gravy." We like Brussels sprouts broiled; so my wife asked when ordering the steak, which comes with creamed sprouts, if they could be broiled: instead our waitress asked the chefs who actually flash fried them with salt and pepper, perfectly, with crunchy outer leaves & al dent inside. My wife ordered a 14.00 glass of Pinot noir; the cool wine glass was a generous size --and filled generously. We like the pretentious wine descriptions from the backs of bottles; bartender let us take a photo of the label but suggested the "vivino" app to get the lowdown on any wine. Finished off sharing the bread pudding with rum soaked yellow raisins, great flavor without excess sweetness, and thanked our waitress Katy.

Usually, I get the chicken and dumplings. I was celebrating getting a new job so, I got the ribeye. I ordered it medium rare. Unfortunately, the cut wasn't good. It was thin and had thick gristle, throughout. I assumed that I would need salt. I asked for flakey salt. The sweet waitress/bartender, brought me kosher salt in a nice container. The salt helped! However, the steak was too far gone to help. It was closer to medium and, again, the cut was bad. (Note: I didn't complain! I'm sure that if I would have, they would have done anything to correct it!) The positives? The green beans were AMAZING! Still a bit crispy and tasted great! The mashed potato's were good. Awful customer service. Especially when making reservations…read more I go here a lot, because I like dry aged steak, but I can't get over the customer service around reservations. As a combat vet, I feel uncomfortable AF eating in the middle of a tiny and cramped dining room. The dining room is so small and packed here that I'm surprised that the fire marshal even allows that many people to be sat in there. Still, when I ask for a booth and say that I don't want to eat in the middle of that tiny dining room when I make a reservation, I find it odd to be sat in the middle of the dining dining room only to see that there's multiple parties that were just sat in booths and haven't even gotten their drinks yet--like, they were just sat before us (and we were on time for our reservation). I think you could have a little more respect for your customers is all. For that reason alone, you're not worth the price of your half-baked pretense in my opinion. You get a one-star for that reason alone. On the quality front, the ribeyes I get are more and more consistently riddled with connective tissue and are hard to eat, with a lot of waste. Not exactly the quality of meat cut one expects for the price. Sometimes they nail it, but I'd say at least a third of the time my ribeyes are almost half scrap. The quality seems to be diminishing since I first started frequenting this place. So, perhaps your supplier sucks. Idk. Pick your meat better if you want to demand higher prices. I think I'll stop coming back at this point. 2020 Market has good steak, too. Only I haven't dealt with so much connective tissue in my steak there. And also, I haven't had issues with my reservations there. So you lose me to your competition after having gotten so much money out of me. Consistent quality and customer service could maintain such consistent regular customers in your sales. What a weird way to lose customers. Your whole business is customer service and cooking food well. Do better.
