My friend and I wanted to eat somewhere new that had a good menu (I mean, who doesn't?) We stumbled upon the raving reviews of their Eggs Benny and we were, well, tempted to check it out for ourselves. Initially I wanted to try their Mediterranean options but was convinced when the owner had shown us the separate menu for the benedicts. It was simple, you could add mushrooms, change the meat to lamb or sausage but I was ready to order it. I got the original Benny with added mushrooms. I also added the peppers and onions to make the potatoes "those" potatoes. I also saw them hand make the baklava, so of course, I had to get that. Overall, it was a good experience. Very family-owned as the son was taking the orders and waiting the tables. I was impressed with how popular this humble restaurant was as people were starting to fill up the seats. Great time, and though a little pricey for their orange juice, I was happy to support such an establishment. I look forward to my next meal. read more

Came here for breakfast and the portions are huge and very affordable! I wish I would've found this place sooner considering I've lived in the same neighborhood for over 10 years! I ordered pancakes with Eggs and sausage... everything taste good and the pancakes are massively big! I also ordered freshly squeezed OJ and it was delicious!!!! Will come by more often! read more

This tiny this little cafe is an Orange County staple. They have been around forever. The serve is very friendly. They have great Eggs Benedict's and amazing Greek food, as well. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the Hollandaise sauce is amazing. The potatoes are just okay, they could be cook a little crispier. They are now open on Sundays. read more

Authentic, tasty and great flavors. The restaurant has its own ambiance, a lot of people are repeaters because of great service provided by owner as well as staff. They are proud of their food and its their goal to make sure guests are leaving with an high satisfactory feeling. I strongly suggest for people who are close by to visit this beautiful restaurant, you will feel like home. Love this place, great prices for good quality. We came here because of the reviews and the food/service didn't disappoint us. The food was delicious and on time. The place was clean, service was amazing! Went here for a last min breakfast on our way out of town. Fast service and good breakfast food. We got there at a good time when it wasn't super busy so seating was no issue despite being a table of 5. However I could see seating possibly being an issue at a busier time. read more

We were in the mood for some Greek food, and found this place not far from our apartment. We were originally going to go to a chain restaurant, but we are so glad to have found this amazing small business! The Greek salad with gyro and the eggs Benedict with potatoes was some of the best I've ever had! We also had the homemade baklava that we were told is made with real butter and real cane sugar. DELICIOUS! Honestly, the best baklava I've ever had, not a grease bomb or too sweet. 10/10, will definitely got to Willy's again :) read more

Doing a Disneyland vacation, you usually will start the day with a traditional Caucasian breakfast at IHOP or Denny's (see those reviews) since they are strategicly placed at the park opening. Well, to be different, I went to my trusty Yelp and was asked to find the best eggs Benedict in the area. Low and behold we found this place...and it was awesome... It is buried in a sort of quasi industrial area which is actually cool. Besides the great food, the staff was super friendly, especially Kevin (?), he had me rolling. We will definitely eat there again at least once every trip we take. read more

One fine day the manage of the building where I live decided to test the alarms! OMG!!! that was reason enough to run away: I wanted to preserve my hearing!! After dressing quickly I started thinking where to go and ended up going over Willy's Eatery for a hearty breakfast to improve my day. Willy's eatery is located in a strip mall, parking is ok and access is easy. I was craving baklava (a bit early for that, but...) Since I arrived I have in mind their Eggs Benedict (Willy's eatery is famous for their Eggs Benedict, they are known as the best in OC) After I got there checked in and the coffee is complimentary with Yelp check in, then ordered the famous EB. The place is small but nice, the service is awesome!! The owner is great, and honestly he could give customer service classes to more than one business owners that I know. After waiting for a bit the eggs arrived, OMG! talking about perfection. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the sauce was absolutely scrumptious. They came accompanied by some delicious potatoes. Bottom line this breakfast is awesome!!! Delicious and more than satisfying (as usual i left with a box) This place is a hidden gem!! Great cost/benefit, delicious food with great service in a pretty quaint place, free parking... what else can I ask for? 5 stars, Highly Recommended!!! of course I'll be back!!! read more

Food was nothing but bland, staff need to improve their appearance, it felt like I was being served not in a proper clean environment. Greek salad was a bagged salad with some cheese on top and cucumbers, gyro had no flavor at all, skip skip skip this and get Greek food somewhere else. Not good at all. read more

Tried a little bit of everything for breakfast. Eggs Benedict was all about the sauce. I ordered the spinach but noticed the spinach may have been canned and not fresh. It was still delicious, but I would have preferred fresh spinach. Kids had the traditional options, pancakes, eggs etc. everyone enjoyed their meal. If your looking to eat out for breakfast and want a good meal without the hassle of waiting to eat at a dine-in, then Willy's is your place! read more

Wow... we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and I am so glad we did! The staff was sooooo friendly, the place was clean, and the food was delicious! My 2 year old loved the French toast and bacon. My husband enjoyed the burritos and pancakes. I got the eggs Benedict with a twist (bacon) and it was all so good! Was t able to take any pics as my son was throwing a hangry fit, but once the food came he was so happy! Please try this place out! You won't regret it!! read more

Had breakfast there with the family. My wife had some vegetarian eggs Benedict and I had the smoked salmon Benedict. They were made perfectly and tasted amazing. Among the best I've ever had. We were trying to meet at a place down the street...that ended up being closed. We were hungry and striking out everywhere we tried. Willy's was open and able to accommodate a party of 8 with no notice (dumb luck on our part). Very friendly, good service and most importantly delicious food. I was very tempted to try their lunch but had to go with breakfast. The avocado Benny was really good, the sautéed mushrooms in my omelette were on point, and fantastic fresh squeezed OJ. Our group enjoyed their good quality (and fresh) coffee, and all their food. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable and it was very clean. I can't wait to come back and try their lunch and Greek options. read more

Willy's Eatery is definitely one of those rare hole in the wall places that will make your day because of the good food and amazing customer service. I had the chance to eat at this place years ago, when I had a lunch meeting for work, but hadn't been back since until the BF suggested this place for lunch one Sunday afternoon before heading to the Orange Street Fair. Best decision ever! There's so many choices and the prices are relatively cheap. I went with the Greek Gyro combo, which also includes a Greek salad. I also ordered the baklava for dessert as well. Everything was AMAZING! The sandwich is filling, but I can never pass on desserts and they microwave the baklava so it's hot and gooey and the BF literally had to take the plate away so I wouldn't lick it, but I had to try. Definitely recommend. The service was awesome! Super friendly and were quick to offer suggestions. Oh, you actually order at the counter first and then grab a seat. They'll bring your meals out to you in a relatively fast manner. Definitely going to have to try their Eggs Benedict because apparently, that's the best around there. Worth checking out! read more

I wish I took photos of the food before diving in but it all looked so good! These guys are friendly, helpful, and work their butts off to make sure you have a good experience. Our family tradition has always been to go to the Original Pancake House after experiencing Disney and driving home to San Diego. Well, we stopped again last week and the wait for over 1 hour. We didn't want to wait that long for some pancakes. Well, we just happened to google breakfast places and Willy's Eatery came up. Boy, we were blown away by the food. The eggs Benedict meals are the best!!! I had the smoked salmon and it was soo delicious. We also had the French toast, fresh OJ, and the California Benedict. Don't let the outside fool you....it is fantastic eatery. This is now our NEW PLACE all the time. I give it 10+ stars!! read more

Review on Eggs Benedict and general experience: Note: From the small comfy vibe, to the local friendly services, to the quality of he food, all my expectations are met. Food: VERY SATISFIED - if all eateries met this standard of care the world would be a much better place. Service: VERY SATISFIED - the kind of place They'll learn your name and your order. Vibe: VERY SATISFIED - quiet, clean and orderly. Soulful Motown hits playing currently. The food was delicious! I had the gyro special plate as well as the sandwich/salad combo. I am very excited to come back and try the breakfast. How good can baklava be, right? It was damn good. What really stood out, even above the deliciousness of the food, was the service. These guys are amazing. Everyone was so kind, warm and welcoming. I had a very nice experience. I shall be back!!!! I chose a ratatouille side which I shared with my friends, and they shared their sides as well. The roasted chicken had great skin, but the white meat part of the half bird was a bit dry. Service was excellent, and prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

When I first went to Willy's back in 1999!....they had something called "World's 2nd Best Chicken Sandwich". I thought it was so funny and wondered who was the World's Best. But it turned out that they were being overly humble! This place has the WORLD'S BEST chicken sandwich! I always get the Southwestern Chicken Sandwich which has a nice slice of green chile.....the chicken is moist and tender. It's the shredded kind, not the thick filet that's hard to chew and rubbery at most other places. This sandwich melts in your mouth and is SOOO good. It is the BEST chicken sandwich of any other food place I've ever had! And I'm not the only one who thinks so. Everyone else I take over there says the same thing! For 20 years, I haven't eaten a chicken sandwich that's better than the one at Willy's. Go and see for yourself! read more

They both had Hashbrowns and your own side of toast! Honestly, it was a lot of food! Hashbrowns are thick cut, which I love! I hate how dennys gives you those thin, crusty hashbrowns. Here you don't have to worry at all! The steak in my omelet was a perfect medium rare! A stuffed omelet with all that meat! I highly recommend that #20. I'm giving it a 3 star rating primarily due to the fact that my order was missing the baklava and the side of macaroni salad that I had requested. In general, they included a generous portion of rice; however, I would have appreciated a bit more veal as the portions resembled sausage patties from Costco in terms of size. Tiny hole in the wall restaurant, and a little dirty but looks can be deceiving. Went in there and ordered the eggs Benedict. Service was a bit slow getting the food out, but well worth the wait. The consistency and flavor or the hollandaise sauce was perfect. The poached eggs were perfect and the ham was good as well. Great small place. All staff a pleasant from the second you walk in until you leave. Place is clean and they attend to table as soon as guest leave. There were 3 in our party and we all liked our food choices. Only thing that was weird was they don't serve French fries. Maybe a Greek thing? It is on a small shopping center with ample parking. We were warmly welcomed by the owners William and Anne who have pictures on the wall of their wedding 45 years ago. It is worth it just to meet this couple. The food was absolutely delicious. The best chicken around. I always get Willy's Greek Wrap, which has hummus, rice, some veggies, and a whole lot of flavor. Comes with a Greek salad for under $9 and is one of the healthier lunch options in the area.
