I took my Son to eat there yesterday, the cashier was a young Asian man and I ordered one Senior buffet and one buffet for my Son, he looked at me with anger in his face, he proceeded to tell the young lady next to him to show us to our table. When I got up to get some chili oil for my food he had gone there, he was filling a lot of cups with the chili oil I wanted to get so I could start eating with my son, he kept filling cup after cup after cup while I was just waiting, I had counted about 15 to 20 cups he had filled and as I was still waiting there he starts staring at me through the corner of his eyes and angrily asks me "do you want something" it was very obvious with the little clear cup I had already been waiting to get some red chili oil and he would not give me the courtesy of getting some knowing he was filling a lot of cups while I just wanted to get one cup, I was the paying customer and he was the cashier. My appetite went away due to his angry attitude, his rudeness, his disregard to let a customer serve himself knowing he was just serving a lot of cups of oil and knowing I just wanted to get a small cup so I could go back to my table and start eating with my Son. He did not have a name tag and I wanted to ask the young lady host for his name but I did not want to make that young lady start having a bad day. The young man was working at the cash register when we walked in, he did not honor the Senior citizen discount, I am a Senior. He was wearing a flannel shirt. When he was filling out all those cups with chili oil and I was waiting a long time I am not exaggerating, he gave me a very angry look through the corner of his eyes and angrily asked "DO YOU WANT SOMETHING!!!" That's the last time I go to this time place. He has no regard for the reputation of this eating establishment, nor does he remember customers can and will leave comments. Ive been here twice in my life once when i was young and now as an adult. I was feeling some sushi and came here to get some. Not to bad, i thought i was going to hurl by the end of it from my first reaction about the word sushi but no it was actually pretty tasty. I also got a little of everything else that i usually get at asian restaurants. I had gotten take out and it ended up costing $12 for a full plate because they weigh it and thats the only reason i voted 4 stars because i can get the same amount of stuff at other restaurants for about $7. But everything was fresh which was a big plus and will come here for the buffet part of all this to see how much more i can eat. read more

Sushi avocado was black and when I told the person making it he said he was making fresh but when he made it the avocado was still black. Typical Chinese Buffet. I have eaten here several times and it has been consistent. The food is typical of any Chinese buffet I have eaten at. It is self serve, hot if you get lucky and get to it as they put it out and the taste is fine. Drinks are delivered, the table clean and I have never received a fortune cookie but that is fine by me as I never open them anyway. I particularly like the spring rolls myself. My recommendation is: Eat here if you are hungry. Eat here if you are looking for something quick that isn't a hamburger. Do not eat here if you are a germaphobe. As the food is self serve. Went on Father's Day and though it was busy we were seated right away. It was a decent Chinese buffet but I wasn't impressed by the salad bar. It only had iceberg lettuce that was cut in huge pieces that made it hard to eat & mix around on the plate. While most of the food was good my first bite of beef from the broccoli mix was grisly & my husband's egg roll was nasty. It also was a bit frustrating that they never gave us a fortune cookie which really isn't a big deal but it is something I look forward to at Chinese buffets. It's not as good as it used to be. The other day I went in for dinner and the waitresses only offered my friend refills on his soda but not on mine. They took his finished plates but left mine behind. I was excited about eating the honey chicken because it's been a while since I've been here but was very disappointed. On my second trip to grab some more food there was a strange dark piece which I had thought it might be a burnt piece of the chicken skin. I grabbed chicken piece around it since they hadn't switched out the pans yet. I went back to my table and began eating. The first piece I grabbed had an added dark bump with two large black antennas sticking out. I went back to look at the dark piece left in the pan and realized it was a large bug. My friend and I spotted the manager, tried to tell him and to get an answer but he told a waitress something. My plate was suddenly taken away as I was trying to take a photo from my phone which has been acting up. Our fortune cookies were basically thrown on our table and the pan was quickly switched out. We were then ignored by the rest of the staff. I was disgusted and have not been able to get my mind off of that experience and will not go back. We didn't leave an additional tip as my friend had already pre-tipped them when he paid at the counter. Since Crown Buffet and New Buffet are owned by the same people, I won't be going there either.
