I start this by saying the night before I spent almost $200 on our visit.... We decided to go back the next night (a Sunday) because we enjoyed the food very much. Online and Apple Maps states that the restaurant is open until midnight, and we arrived around 10:30pm just to grab drinks and the cheese curds. When we walked in, about 10 people were sitting at the bar drinking. At first we assumed that these were patrons, but with a closer look as we started to mosey forward, a blonde lady with her hair up turned and gave us a "wtf" look. I looked around and noticed that some of the shirts we could see had circles with the name on them. I looked back at the same woman who was still staring at us with a stank face. We waited for probably a minute while EMPLOYEES continued to look back at us and then resume their conversations. As a non-white couple, we are clearly able to tell when our presence is not wanted somewhere. If they were closed, I would have rather been told to leave because they were close, rather than feel shunned away and make the decision to leave myself out of discomfort. Or maybe lock the door? Anyway, now we're happily sitting at the Lazy Dog across the street, getting GREAT customer service. read more

This place was so disappointing! everything we ordered including a kids corn dog was dry and overcooked. The bison burger was dry and overcooked. The onion rings were undercooked and the batter inside was raw. Our desserts we really subpar, including a bread pudding that was so dry. A bread pudding! Our server was pretty good but as the night wore on, we saw her less and less. when we got our check, it was someone else's check for $60 when ours was over $200. we still tipped 20%, because I know she doesn't have anything to do with the food quality and she was really friendly. your menu looked so good- but wow. this was seriously a huge disappointment. the only reason I didnt send everything back was because it was my daughters birthday dinner and she picked the restaurant. Windfall, you need to do better. I don't know how you could send out food like that -including a kids burned corn dog like that, in good conscience. I hate to give a negative review but the only good thing about this place were all the pinball machines in the back. Went w/ 2 other friends. We each ordered different style burgers. Mine was to be medium well yet was medium rare. The waitress agreed & took it back. They sent a replacement burger but that one was really well done. Needless to say, I didn't eat it. Did enjoy my fries while they enjoyed their onion rings. The 3 of us ordered an alcoholic drink & all were rather tasteless. We're not big drinkers so we'd be able to taste alcohol but if there was anything in it, it was miniscule. Overall disappointed. Service was mediocre at best as the waitress kind of forgot about us. We paid about $32 with tip for a burger & a drink. A little over-priced. Can't say we'll go back based on this experience. read more

Flavorless food. French onion soup was watered down and weak. Onion rings weren't crispy. How do you have a flavorless burger with green chiles on it? They did it. The fries are good. I've been here 3 times. The first time I came I ordered the mushroom burger and it was really good but the onion rings were amazing (I literally bit my finger while stuffing them in my face because I was so excited to eat them) I came back a week later with nothing on my mind but the onion rings... but they were out of onions! How do you run out of onions? Literally the store always has onions, just run over to the grocery and get some more darn onions! Also, the second time the service was pretty bad, friendly but not attentive. I just came for the third time and ordered the mushroom burger again. Oh boy have they gone down hill fast. The burger says it comes with a brioche bun but it was on a wrinkled little Wonder Bread bun and it was way over cooked. It looked more like a slider than a full sized burger. I started to cry on account of my burger being so sad but then I remembered the onion rings and I got excited again! However, they we undercooked and nothing like the first time. Now I'm sad again. So sad... My son enjoys the pinball so we will probably be back but it won't be anytime soon. read more

Went at 2:40PM on a Saturday was sat down immediately then waited12 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Tried to order two appetizers to start and one was unavailable and the second was taken off as she was trying to enter it. They had a fried buffalo chicken sandwich on the menu and asked if my son could have it plain and that turned into another 10 minute approval process at which point we decided to leave because they didn't have every other item on the menu and a portion of the menu doesn't start until 4PM. Good choice for us we had a good late lunch early supper somewhere else. read more

Really enjoyed our appetizers (jalepeno poppers and cheese curds) and our evening was off to a great start. Our waitress was great, but then came our burgers. We ordered "medium" burgers that all came back well done and rock hard. We never send back food but had no choice. This place is our new brunch place!! Chicken and waffles are to die for! It comes with delicious strawberry sauce and the chicken was fried to perfection. The service was outstanding thanks to Katie. We got a knowledgeable tour of the menu with every recommendation tasty. My in-laws had the Huevos rancheros with perfectly spicy green chili on crunchy tostada like shells. First time in. Sat at bar staff were quick to respond to me and they were friendly that's always a star! Ordered food it came super quick and it was good. Beers I had a sadion and a mocha Porter. Great beers for my taste. The only slight dew back is the bar top this top makes it hard to eat so grab a table. Pricing $$$. Family freindly no pets. I'll be back and recommend. read more

I'm kind of torn on windfall. I have been here three times, and every time I've been underwhelmed. The first time, I got a salad and it was very big and I had quite a bit of stuff on it. It was just a house salad with chicken added to it, but the chicken was good and there were a lot of other things mixed in. I got that same salad the second time I went, and it was completely different. There was hardly anything in it, the chicken was weird, very small portion, it's almost like they gave me the wrong salad. The third time, I got the steak sandwich. Very chintzy on the meat. I think they have pretty decent fries, their ranch is good. I think it's nice that during the hockey games they give free shots every time there's a goal scored. i like that you can sit outside. Last time we went, our server was strange, he came to our table and introduced himself but then just gave us a random thumbs up, and didn't take our drink order, and proceeded to walk away? He was physically stretching while he was taking our order later. I don't know, he was just weird. Our food also took a very long time last time, and it wasn't busy at all. We were excited to try this new brew pub and their Valentine's dinner for two. Unfortunately our experience went from annoying to just plain poor. It took four phone calls to make a reservation because the voicemail system did not work properly. The individual I spoke with did not know the dates of the Valentine's special, which I told her was on their website, and she had to check to verify that I was correct. When we arrived for our special Valentine's evening and asked our server about the menu, he was unaware of what it entailed and left us to go find out. Lack of staff training. Our ceviche was basic and difficult to eat with narrow slivers of tortilla chips. The salads were generic. My husband's steak was thin and mediocre, with too much of an odd sauce on top, and the mashed potatoes were a strange, lumpy texture. My main dish of three raviolis was tough to chew. We had a challenge choosing a beer to take home in our growler because none of the eight beers we tried were anything special. When we left we were disappointed at having to pay $100 plus tax and tip for a thoroughly unsatisfactory and overpriced meal and experience.
