Just had 10 windows and a large sliding glass door replaced by Joe and Team at Window King. Just like anyone doing their due diligence, we received multiple quotes from different companies and resigned our selves to the idea that this was going to be an very expensive project. I came across the Window King website that boasted "10 Windows for $3995" which seemed a bit hard to believe considering the other quotes were significantly higher. Joe came out to the house took measurements of our windows, showed us the window samples and explained the installation and gave us a quote on the spot for the price advertised!! I was amazed that all of the upgrades offered by other companies like self locking mechanisms and argon gas filled came standard with Window King! I had a free consultation with this company. Joe set it up and was very accommodating. His tech came out, gave us an estimate a couple of days later. Or rather Joe did. We liked the price and windows chosen. I had recently come down with shingles and was in a lot of pain so I didn't immediately follow up with Joe. Joe texted me he was going out of town from Friday to Sunday of last week and wanted to rap this up. ( At his convenience). He emailed me a contract. Eventually on Sunday my daughter printed out the contract which was so small it virtually unreadable. Also on the printed email my name and that of my son-in-law was not on it. (It was there on the email itself) For me it was too much work as my pain right now is great, so I sent Joe a text telling of the problem and when upon his return, could he drop off a contract and a method of payment. He answered that perhaps we should put this on hold until I was better. I didn't want to put this on hold. Joe did not respond to my text asking him to drop off a contract. I called and texted him today. His answer was he didn't have time to drop off a contract and that no one else had a problem with their email contract. (Took that statement offensively) He said I should go elsewhere which I had already done. Joe had told me he was replacing many broken windows caused by the riots so I'm thinking my project of four windows didn't mean much. While I cannot attest to the quality of his windows and his installation, I can attest to his terrible customer service.
