This was hands down the best meal we had in Las Vegas! Came here from a friend's recommendation and all I can say is wow!! The service was impeccable and top notch from the hostess to the servers! The decor is stunning and clean. Love the extra touch of the stool for your purse! We ordered the pot stickers which were delicious. Perfect for sharing. We shared General Tao's chicken and jasmine rice and it was the best! Cooked perfectly and flavored to perfection! Honestly it was such a large portion, so glad we split it! The rice noodle bowl was fun to eat too! Before our meal, the chef sent out a beef jelly which tasted amazing! We ordered the caramel lotus cake that was so tasty! Then the chef sent out three petit fours which were such a yummy surprise! Then they sent us home with pomegranate cakes! If I couid give 10 stars I would! Do not miss this restaurant!!
We dined at Wing Lei on lunar new year to celebrate the year of the horse. The details were spectacular & so was true service. Favorites: The cocktails: Loved my drink "The Year of the Horse"- a delicious gin Martini. My two other friends did also loved theirs equally Appetizers: both the duck salad and the crab salad were spectacular Duck: delicious- choose between pancake or crepe or half and half. Portion is honestly so small for a duck though.... And you pay extra to make it into fried rice. Skip: Noodles and sweet and sour pork- nothing special Notable mention: desserts are beautifully presented. I loved the yuzu one the most!
The atmosphere is great and I love that they give a little chair for your purse. Upon entering, service was fantastic. Our main server that took our order went a little MIA, and we had to flag him down. For a high end Michelin star restaurant, that was disappointing. For the food, overall it's good but I didn't find anything special. Perhaps as an Asian, I am more picky and have higher expectations. We got the set meal and initially thought we would be hungry after but our table of 4 were all full at the end. Red King Crab: probably my favorite. It was delicious Truffle Soup Dumpling: it was good and maybe because I ate at Din Tai Fung for breakfast, I was disappointed to see we only got one dumpling Grilled Wild Glacier Sea Bass: it was cooked perfectly but with the curry sauce, I didn't think it paired well Imperia Peking Duck: this was delicious! The bread was a bit soggy but still tasty Braised prime short rib: good but not special Dessert selection: you get several different types. The chocolate tart was good but the taste gets tiring
Never thought I would run into a Michelin Star restaurant on the Las Vegas strip. After a few hours of gambling, I happened to stumble on Wing Lei by accident while heading back to my room for a little break before dinner. Once I seen the huge pomegranate trees inside the restaurant, I knew I was in the right place. The vibes were on another level, from the table settings to the keen staff being genuinely friendly, and attentive to your every need to complement your dining experience. They were so observant, that staff offered me a little chair for my fanny pack that was hidden underneath my sweater. Since I was dining alone, I ask the waiter for his recommendations, and boy did he deliver. He went beyond my expectations, and I wanted to keep things light, since I had dinner plans in 4hrs. My experience consisted of their delicious Crispy Shrimp Toast, Honey Glazed Bbq Spare Ribs, their famous Imperial Peking Duck prepared table side, paired with Perrier Jouët by the glass, and Pellegrino to refresh my palate . One thing about Asian Cuisine, every sense of taste will be experienced, and Wing Lei definitely elevated my expectations on every level.
We dined at Wing Lei twice during our last stay in Vegas. Both time we had groups of 8 to 9. We had so much food and fun. But here are a few comments and tips based on our recent experience. Drinks: Wing Lie's bartenders are horrible. I ordered Old Fashioned (bourbon one night, rye the second night) and both times there were rather pathetic. Food: Overall food is great but we had some issues on this visit. One night the General Tsao's chicken was perfect, the second night it was a gummy, inedible mess. One night the duck was perfect. The other night the duck was so salty it was barely edible. We tried at least 1/2 the menu, and it was a lot of fun to share using the lazy Susan on the table. Service: Excellent but staff struggled in providing separate checks (they succeeded in the end but it was tough) Value: Good value Ambiance: One of the nicest Chinese restaurants ever Overall cleanliness: excellent
Beautiful meal and experience. Such a special, lovely meal, the moment you step through the doors it feels like a Michelin star experience, because it absolutely is. From the service, food and ambience, I highly recommend splurging on a dinner at Wing Lei. Don't forget to reserve a duck ahead of time, you won't be disappointed!
Wing Lei at the Wynn is every bit as elegant as you'd expect from the only Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in North America. The attention to detail here is remarkable--from the tiny chairs to hold your purse to the thoughtful touches like white chopsticks for appetizers and black for dinner. Even the tea service is executed with perfection, and your cup will never sit empty. The dining room is intimate, with golden fixtures just outside the windows that add to the luxe atmosphere. Service is highly attentive without being intrusive--efficient, quick, and polished. We sampled quite a bit of the menu: * Peking Duck - carved tableside, a true showstopper and worth coming back for. * Potstickers & Shrimp Toast - good starters, well executed. * Chow Mein - I'd personally skip this one; flavors didn't shine. * Pork Fried Rice - a miss for me, unexpectedly sweet. * Scallops with sausage & truffle - outstanding, buttery and rich, my personal favorite. * Three Cup Sea Bass - phenomenal, delicate yet flavorful. * Braised Short Rib - fall-off-the-bone tender, melt-in-your-mouth good. Cocktails were also a delight--their espresso martini with five-spice was silky and smooth with just the right kick. Dessert is light, and they end the evening with a small thank-you gift (cupcakes!) which was such a sweet touch. Overall, flavors here lean subtle and nuanced rather than bold, but that's part of the refined experience. I'd return in a heartbeat for the duck, scallops, sea bass, and short rib. Between the service, setting, and meticulous plating, Wing Lei delivers a truly special dining experience.
I overall enjoyed dining at Wing Lei. The appetizers were great, particularly the king crab salad. I got the sampler, and it was a good way to taste through bite size editions of the best selling apps. The Peking duck was great albeit I wish they cut more meat off of the duck as I saw them wheel away the carcass with some meat left on it, especially as the duck has a hefty price tag. The dessert was phenomenal and I would totally go away just for this dessert. Excellent service and just overall beautiful interior and experience
Wing Lei is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants, and I've enjoyed dining here many times over the years. It was awarded a Michelin star in the past, and while the prices have definitely gone up, the food and experience are still worth it. The dishes are always excellent. One of my favorites is the walnut shrimp--so flavorful, juicy, and tender. Another favorite of mine is the Beijing duck, which is consistently delicious (although it used to be a lot better priced for the whole duck). The atmosphere is beautiful--elegant yet welcoming. The last renovation made it look a lot more open while still maintaining some Eastern elegance.
A group of friends went here specifically for the start of what we lovingly called "The Duck around and Find out" tour. What We ordered: Peking Duck ($137.88) along with crispy wagyu rolls ($32.88), vegetable fried rice ($23.88), sauteed green beans ($27.88), and mapo tofu $27.88. The Peking Duck arrived to be carved tableside, and our initial "pancakes" were maede for us (I could never reepeat the beautiful presentation they did though); there were also two different "types" of pancakes - tradition, and a more bao style. Along with the duck, they brought a beautiful consumme, and 3 "dipping" sauces. My thoughts: I loved the crispy duck pieces and the duck itself was juicy, and full of flavor. I liked both pancakes, but I think I preferreed the traditional thin ones the most - but the bao style was really good. The Mapo and fried rice were good, but for the price nothing that stood out as special to the restaurant. I did like the green beans - alot, though I also felt that it was a little pricy for what you got (at least my tummy was happy with them!) Wine: Decent wine list, and unfortunately I did not take a photo of the wine. It worked with the duck though, aned thats all you can ask for. Cocktails: I got the Dragon King ($25). It was perfectly balanced and delicious. Service: Impeccable! It did seem like there was a lot of duck left on the carcus, so not sure if that is what iws used to make the cosumme. However, for the price, I felt like the 4 of us got as much duck as we wanted. On the sides, I do agree with some of the other comments - maybe a little pricy for the amount of food you got. However, the restaurant is beautiful, the food beautifully presented, and while I could see going back, it might be to try other dishes.
Eating at Wing Lei was overall a fun experience. The level of service was excellent. The food was good, but not much better or worse than a local Chinese restaurant. Maybe more elevated in terms of quality. I had the 6 course tasting menu and the food tasted more geared toward the American palate. I'm part Chinese and grew up eating Cantonese food a staple in addition to all other Chinese cuisines. Overall, I'd recommend coming here for the experience eating at a Michelin star restaurant. The courses of the Chef Ming's Tasting Menu were kept pretty simple, not too abstract or inventive. I feel like they were just made to look pretty. Or to be expensive just for the sake of being expensive, like adding gold flakes or caviar when those additions don't add much to the dish. Chef Ming's Tasting Menu It was about $227 per person and you can add wine pairing for $128 or $248 for a wine pairing. Red King Crab Merus 鵝肝醬帝王蟹柳 * 4/5 * Nice and thick piece of king crab leg. Tasted very fresh. Honestly I could not detect any flavor of the shaved foie gras on top. The edible flowers were also quite bitter. The fruity jelly under the crab paired pretty well and had an interesting crunchy agar-like texture, but could have had a stronger flavor. Truffle Soup Dumpling 松露湯包 * 5/5 * I don't usually care for truffle but this was my top favorite course. The truffle flavor was mild and pleasant. The broth both inside and outside dumpling was good. One dumpling is not enough! I asked for a spoon to drink the rest of the broth because it was so good. Grilled Wild Glacier 51 Sea Bass 咖哩汁焗銀雪魚 * 5/5 * This was my second favorite course. The sea bass was melt-in-your-mouth flaky tender and had a nice crust. The curry sauce was quite mild in terms of curry flavor/spice and didn't overpower the fish. Imperial Peking Duck 魚子醬片皮鴨 * 4/5 * The meat was tender, but the duck flavor way overpowered the caviar. It more just added a strange texture than any caviar flavor. Also I didn't quite like it being served on top of a piece of toast, it just didn't pair well in my opinion. They should have just stuck with some form of rice or crepe wrap. Braised Prime Short Rib 紅燒肋小排 * 4/5 * A nice and tender piece of braised short rib. Had a soy sauce flavor with mild 5 spice essence. Good but nothing unique. Chef's Dessert Selection 主廚精選甜品 * 4/5 * We got some kind of chocolate cake that had some candied ginger pieces and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The cake was good, warm and not too sweet, but the papery crispy edible thing on top did not taste good and just got in the way. I just ate the cake and ice cream and not the ginger nor the crispy topping. Cocktails Year of the Dragon * 5/5 -- One of the best cocktails I've had in a while. Combines all my favorites - gin, pomegranate, and coconut into a nice drink. Auspicious Crane * 4/5 -- A solid espresso martini. Tasted a little chocolatey to me and a little on the sweet side. It is pre-batched, so adjustments can't really be made. Very rich mouthfeel with a nice stable froth. Seven Sages of Bamboo Grove * 3/5 -- Tasted fruity and high quality but somewhat generic cocktail.
I ordered the Peking duck, and when wrapped in the thin pancakes with scallions and cucumber, it was surprisingly close in quality to the Peking duck I had enjoyed in Beijing. It was a delightful and nostalgic experience. I was a little disappointed to see that only about 20 slices of duck skin and meat were served from the whole roasted duck, with a substantial amount of meat remaining that was simply taken away. Had I known that, for an additional aboout $45, the remaining duck could be turned into a soup, or for about $25 into a chow mein or fried rice dish, I definitely would have ordered one of those options. That said, the duck itself was absolutely excellent. I was also fortunate enough to try two new dessert offerings. The first was a milk pudding with red beans, ginger syrup, and plums. While enjoyable, I felt it could have been even more refreshing if the ginger syrup and plums had a bit more acidity. The second dessert, the Lotus Cake, was absolutely perfect. The combination of the osmanthus tea cream and caramel cake was truly unique. The flavors were fragrant, sweet, and beautifully balanced, creating an experience that felt like awakening an entirely new palate. Thank you to everyone at Wing Lei for providing such a memorable dining experience and for introducing me to new flavors and culinary experiences. I truly appreciate the warmth, professionalism, and hospitality of the entire staff. I look forward to returning again.The Lotus Cake has definitely earned a spot on my must-order list for my next visit.

My parents are big fans of Cantonese cuisine and loved this place because the food and flavors really hit the spot! The ambiance was great and waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. They seated us even though we booked the wrong time for reservations (I accidentally booked for 1 month later haha). Wing Lei offers a la carte family style or two different tasting menu options (peking duck tasting menu is ~$110 and chef's tasting menu is ~$170). We decided to go w a la carte for more flexibility. The interior is beautiful! Absolutely stunning and they have a mini garden outside the window where they grow pomegranate trees. There are also a million waitresses and waiters ready to fill your water (like i would take 3 sips and then my water would be filled again!!). The one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was when we first walked in (I had made a reservation a week in advance), the hostess asked us where we were staying. When I told her we weren't staying at Wynn, the hotel that Wing Lei was located in, she still wanted to know exactly where we were staying. And when I asked her why she needed that information, she just said "we use it for reference." Super sketchy and it felt like they were using it to extrapolate one's socioeconomic class.... am I being too much of a skeptic?? Fine dining is largely the experience and this started our dinner off on the wrong foot. The hostess should have been more transparent. For our party of 3, we ordered 5 total dishes (not including the complimentary items): 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 1 dessert. Overall the food was 4/5 -- appetizers were my absolutely favorite, both a 5/5 but the entrees were maybe a 4/5. Watermelon with cucumber and yuzu honey (complimentary): 5/5, probbaly a palette cleanser. One cube of watermelon on top of a slice of cucumber. Watermelon had a slight hint of the yuzu honey and the cucumber had a little bit of a vinegar finish. So simple yet so delicious! Chrysanthemum Tea (complimentary): 5/5, Steeped perfectly. They added a generous amount of rock candy in here cause the tea was hella sweet but it was a perfect amount. Any more and I would have complained that it was too much sugar. Alaskan King Crab Salad ($25): 5/5, a layered appetizer with mango, avocado, miso-yuzu dressing, and king crab. This was so delightful and we all loved this dish. King crab tasted SUPER fresh and there was a perfect balance between fruitiness, salt, and crab... I'm obsesseedddd. Field Greens with Peking Duck ($20): 5/5, salad appetizer with slivered almonds, mandarin oranges, peanut-truggle vinaigrette and 5 slices of peking duck. We ordered this to try their peking duck without spending $118 on a whole peking duck and this was PERFECT. Every part of the salad was absolutely delicious and the duck was so so so juicy. One of the endive leaves were hella bitter but that's my only complaint. Three Cup Sea Bass ($46): 4/5, sea bass cooked w garlic, scallions, basil, and a sweet ginger soy reduction, served in a hot stone bowl. We ordered this dish bc it was a super popular & recommended dish on Yelp, but tbh I wasn't impressed. Flavor was good and the sea bass was moist, but sauteeing (or whatever the non-steaming method that they used was) it reduced the buttery-ness of the sea bass that I love. Sea bass is really good plain, and covering it in the reduction just felt a bit overpowering. Still good though. Sichuan Beef Short Ribs ($50): 4.5/5, short ribs cooked in red chili, green onion, and a chili paste soy reduction sauce. I loved this dish - presentation and all! Super moist and soft and they had a mini shredded salad situation that I devoured. Short ribs tend to be a bit fatty so you might feel a bit gross if you eat more than 3 pieces (which is why I docked half a point) Sauteed Asparagus ($27): 4/5, asparagus sauteed in black bean sauce. Exactly what you expect from the description. They leave it on the crunchier side which I like. Docked one point bc the price is too high imo -- $20 seems more reasonable. Morello Cherry Delight ($27): 4.5/5, a cherry-shaped white chocolate shell filled with mascarpone lychee black tea mousse and a morello cherry compote in the center, on top of vanilla sable crumble and a white chocolate disc. This was absolute gorgeous!! And also tasty. I would have liked more black tea flavor in the mousse but everything else was wonderful. Mini desserts (complimentary!!): 5/5, these came as a total surprise!! Mini little patisseries/chocolates as the very last bite of the meal. I tried the rasperry choux and the matcha/strawberry layered cake -- absolutely delicious. Someone else in my party tried the passionfruit dome and they loved it. Basically they killed this! Total pre-tip came out to $207, which is way cheaper than had we done a tasting menu. Honestly, for a 2 Michelin star fine-dining restaurant, the price was not bad at all. Food was a 4/5, service 5/5, but the question weighs the overall rating to a 3/5 (would love more clarity around why they need this information)! read more

Why not splurge and have some fancy Chinese food while in Vegas? What I ate: - Imperial peking duck: The duck was well flavored, and our server was nice enough to bring us both baos and wraps to eat the duck in. They carved it table side, so great to watch. They took the leftover duck and made these beautiful lettuce cups. While I have nothing to complain about for the duck, was it the best duck I've ever eaten? Did it warrant the price tag? Probably not. - Braised tofu: This was probably the best dish of the night. There were different types of tofu, mushrooms, bok choy, and every single piece was perfection. Flavored well and cooked perfectly. Definitely get this - Green beans: Full of garlic and well cooked, but nothing amazing. - Walnut shrimp: These shrimp were huge! There was a nice ratio of shrimp to coating, and the crunchy walnuts helped. - Vegetable chow mien: Ordered this as our starch, and it was okay, a nice mix of veggies, and plenty of them. Pros: - Beautiful restaurant. Really elegant - Service was great, though the busser was a bit over eager to clear away our plates - Bathroom inside the restaurant, always a plus for Vegas restaurant - The food overall was great, beautifully presented - Purse chair: I love that they gave us small chairs to place our purses, rather than hang them on the chairs or place them on the floor. Cons: - Not cheap. But, you get what you pay for. Would I come again? For dinner, probably not; I just didn't think the food was worth the price. do not even get me started on this place.. as soon as you enter you're greeted with the most beautiful chinese inspired atmosphere, with very well lighting and open space, you're not right on top of other tables, our server was well attentive and very helpful describing the menu and helping me pick out a cocktail with hints and notes of things i enjoy, i ordered the imperial peking duck and it was incredible, they carved it table side and showed you the whole duck before they start slicing, they offer you warm crapes or buns as well as scallions, cucumbers and hoisin sauce to make little wraps with, the flavor on the duck is so well seasoned, tender and juicy. the skin is also so crispy on every little piece i definitely recommend trying especially if you love duck, if you've never had it this is an awesome first try!! my Boyfriend ordered the pork belly and said it was very tender and flavorful as well and almost melted in his mouth . read more

Three weeks ago my wife and I made a reservation for a group of 6 for dinner. Over the phone, we told the restaurant that there will be two kids for dinner. The restaurant accepted our reservation but not mention that this Chinese restaurant is a FINE restaurant. Tonight we arrived 20 minutes earlier. After we sitted properly and tea was served. One of the female waitress asked the age of our little daughter who was sit quietly and watch youtube kids. We told her that our daughter was 4 years old. And our son is 6. Suddenly, waitress said that sorry you guys can not dine here because all customer must be at least 5! We asked that we were never notified that there is an age limit for dinning and what is the rationale behind it? The waitress did not answer our questions, but insist that it is a Fine restaurant. We have been to hundreds of restaurants over the world. Usually Chinese restaurants do not have age limits for customers. It was over 6 p.m. and our poor kids were hungry. We asked if they can make an exception since our poor daughter was not bothering anyone. Our neighboring dining group were so kind and asked if the restaurant can make an exception and they are totally fine with it. However, the waitress and one manager (I guess since she wore suit) insisted us to leave immediately. We did not make a sound since there are other people dining, but we were unhappy about the treatment we received at this restaurant. None of the servents made an apology to us. We ended up going out with two hungry kids and a $35 valet parking fee. In short, this Chinese restaurant does not respect customers, nor does it has empathy to innocent kids at all. It is such a disgrace for this restaurant to be idenfied as "Chinese" and "one of the best" in LV. We do not recommend this restaurant even though the food there might be delicious. There are plenty of nice restaurants in LV and I am sure you will receive better treatment. read more
Oh my gosh!! This place was amazing! I don't know where to start telling you! So let me number it below: 1. Dining Atmosphere: excellent indoor dining environment and service! They even bring a little chair or stool to put your bad aside. Wish they had this is every restaurant. 2. Prefixed menu: we were a party of 4 and came here for Saturday dinner. We selected the duck prefix menu and it was a lot of food but loved everything about it! I would say my favorite dish was the duck roll, and the salad. 3. Tea: we had the Jasmine tea and it was good! I would say same as any other place, but good. 4. Dessert: it looked amazing! Very well composed and tasted just as great! Loved the bright apple color that compliments the green detail colors in the restaurant. Would love to come back again! read more
This is definitely quite the experience. Service is friendly and courteous and the food is flavorful and delicious. We had two different tasting menus and shared bites amongst us. So many good dishes. The truffle soup dumpling is amazing, and there's never been any meat as tender as the braised short rib. Dessert was fun and a playful flair to end the meal. read more
Can't believe I never posted this. The Mr took me to Vegas for the weekend and he knew I'd like this place. First off, the decor and ambience was so serene and beautiful! Think very upscale Asian influence. We did not have the famous Peking Duck because I was not in the mood for duck and you do get ALOT of duck from what I have seen from other tables. We started with Wing Lei Sampler ( I highly recommend this if there's just two people). You get shrimp, crab and spare ribs 5/5 My husband got the Egg Wonton Soup 5/5 I got the Seafood Hot and Sour Soup 5/5 For entrees I got the Sichuan Chili Prawns , they were good ( too much prawns for me, I know! I'm ridiculous!) but I think next time I'd try the Three Cup Sea Bass as I saw someone got it and it looked really good. 4/5 He got the Beef Tenderloin and loved it! 5/5. It was SO flavorful! For dessert we were surprised with a chocolate dome with coconut ice cream. Divine! Overall it was a spectacular meal! Cheers! read more

My husband and I ate at Wing Lei in the Wynn for dinner on Sunday, August 1, 2021. We had a reservation for 8:30 PM and were seated immediately upon arrival. First of all, I was in awe by the restaurant itself - it is exquisite! Very elegant, beautiful, and truly a work of art! The lovely outdoor shrubbery lit by a delicate glow through the floor-to-ceiling windows was hard to look away from. The clientele was mostly couples - fitting since Wing Lei is the perfect date-night restaurant. (You definitely should wear dressier attire or you will probably be uncomfortably underdressed.) We started off with two cocktails, Lychee Blossom Martini ($17) for me and Dragon's Treasure ($17) for my husband. Delicious! Ordered appetizers consisting of the Chilled Vegetable Roll ($18.88) and Honey BBQ Spare Ribs ($21.88). The Chilled Vegetable Roll was amazing with an unexpected pop of heat after each bite. I've never had anything like that elsewhere. My husband said the spare ribs were seasoned and cooked very well and he was pleased with his choice. For entrees, I ordered the Cantonese Vegetable Chow Mein ($26.88) and a side of brown rice ($6.88) and my husband ordered the General Tao's Chicken ($35.88). Everything was freshly made and delectable with great flavors. I forgot to get a picture of the miniature tower that was brought out with an assortment of six petite desserts (apparently complimentary with the meal). Very nice touch! In summary, expect a purely elegant dining experience considering that Wing Lei is the first Chinese restaurant in North America to earn a Michelin star. Service was exceptional, presentation was wonderful, atmosphere was very sophisticated. If the restaurant was short-staffed in any way, there were absolutely no signs of it. I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Wing Lei, just be sure to make a reservation in advance! read more

Wow. This experience will be hard to be topped. The chef's tasting menu was so well done, the pairings perfectly paired. Just incredible. Even if you can't go for the tasting menu, their full menu is incredible and can be approachable. And the service! I can't even say enough about how well they cared for us. The duck is the star of the show but the spare rib appetizer is a runner up. Service is impeccable and the ambiance is inviting. Truly a 5 experience all the way around...if you don't have this type of budget check out Wazuzu at The Encore read more

Great service with average food! We started with their seafood hot and sour soup and it was not bad just too salty . For entree we ordered their signature Peking duck and it was good ! The presentation of carving at the table and serving it in crepes or buns was fun ! The braised tofu with shiitake mushroom served with Bonn hot was done well. Beef tenderloin lack flavor and green beans with garlic was nothing special. The curry fried rice with seafood was my least favorite as the flavor was totally funky and the seafood served on top of the fried rice made the dish soggy ! If you get an opportunity to try the Dim Sum & Seafood brunch here (only offered during the holidays and Chinese New Year), gather a gaggle of your friends, make a reservation (groups 10+), and fast the day before. It's worth it, especially if you like lobster- entire tails are on display for the taking! The Michelin-starred dining room is gorgeous in the morning light, a shame that it's typically only open for dinner service. An abundance of attentive staff oversaw service of a buffet-style meal that made up for what it lacked in selection by ensuring every single dish was impeccable- from the impressive chilled seafood tower at entry to the multitude of miniature desserts, everything was of stellar quality and had great attention to detail. Standout dishes include the large, plump shrimp (of which I ate plenty), also cooked crispy in the traditional salt and pepper style. The spicy tuna rolls in particular at the sushi station were light with a great kick and impressive rice ratio. There's limited red meat, but the carving station had a huge lamb rack that included one of the most fragrant and flavorful pestos I've encountered. The snow crab soup was possibly one of the best soups I've ever had, period, a silky flavorful heaven accented by buttery croissant croutons. And then there's the dim sum, served from traditional carts roaming the dining room and staffed by friendly faces encouraging us to try everything from chicken feet and dumplings to radish cakes and egg tarts. I'll admit this is the area I should have focused on more, but what I did have was fairly well done: chive dumplings, shrimp shu mai, tiny soup dumplings, crispy strips of pork belly, and surprisingly light custard-filled buns. I did not see shrimp rice roll (one of my favorites) and whether more traditional or not, some of these dishes did not seem as flavorful. The dessert display was photo-worthy with tiny, detailed tarts, cakes, and pops. I found that my favorite dishes were the more classic mini cheesecakes and fruit tarts, versus the more visually impressive sculpted orange dessert. Friends at the table widely praised the vegan mango custard with chia pudding, while I preferred the version that paired raspberry and lychee. With so much praise though, I cannot be sure I'd return next year if the opportunity presented itself. The price of $85 with tax and tip is fair for the selection but the value is a bit lessened for those who do not enjoy lobster- I may have had more than the single piece had it been served with butter or with a different preparation option, as Tony T suggests. It was also a bit perplexing that they charge for drink refills but do offer parking validation. This was a great meal out with friends, and the photos don't entirely do the dishes justice, so definitely keep it in mind if you're a seafood lover! read more
Omg, I finally got the chance to try their dim sum brunch! They only have the dim sum brunch twice a year for a few days. Around Christmas until New Year and Chinese New Year from 11am - 3pm. It is $68.88 per person. They do not do reservations less than 10 people. Came with my friend before 10am and there was no one standing in line. We waited in line until 10am and someone came out to put us in the waitlist. We were there first so our time slot was at 11. She told us that we don't have to stay in line since we have our name in the waiting list already. Just have to come back before 11am so we walked around. We came back around 10:45. Around 10:50, the same lady that took our name came out and told us that we have to wait until they seat all those people that were currently in line first (which they got there after us). Her reason was that those people will think that we're cutting but we're not! In my mind, I was like "that's not fair. We were there first"! But whatever, I'm just too nice haha. So when you get there next time for the dim sum brunch, just stay in line. We finally got in and this place is fancy but quite small. The dessert table was in the front and tons of desserts were on display. It was so nice and looked so good. There were limited selections of food in the food station. There were oysters, shrimps, lobsters, sushi and so forth. The dim sums were in carts. The staffs pushed the carts around with the dim sums that had to offer. Dim sum selections included sui mai, har gow, duck, roast pork, spareribs, bbq pork baos and so forth. I wished there were more dim sums options than what they currently have. Overall, the services were awesome. The staffs were nice and attentive. The food was just alright. Not my taste preference. And the desserts were not good. For the price, it should be yummy. It was not worth that $68.88. On top of that, hot tea was $6.88 for a pot. The presentations for the food and desserts were very nice though. read more

This was our first Michelin star restaurant and one of the most incredible meals of my life. We did the Peking duck and every dish they created from it was mind blowing. I honestly can't pick a favorite. The wine pairing option provided some truly unique but delicious flavors that added to the experience. We loved the hibiscus tea they gave us so much that we tried to recreate it at home... and failed. Our serving team was perfectly timed so we never wanted for anything. The photos online don't capture how gorgeous the dining room and garden really are. Certainly meant for a special occasion, Wing Lei deserves all the praise. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant I've been to. Every dish was so flavorful and it it didn't have that msg taste. And it wasn't greasy like Chinese food usually is. I don't know how they do it, but I was very very impressed. Even though I was full they still brought out a little dessert stand and it was complimentary. The chair for my purse was also so dang cute. I truly enjoyed the food and my experience. The service was impeccable as well ! read more

This restaurant deserves the 5 stars. The ambiance, service, and food were all amazing! The welcome tea was very good! We started with the sampler for the appetizer and I had the best shrimp toast I've ever tasted. We had the imperial Peking duck for the main course and I was very happy with it. They carve it in front of you while also preparing a few crepes or buns for you. We got half buns and half crepes and I preferred the buns, but both were good. We were celebrating a birthday so we got a delicious birthday dessert along with the sample of mini deserts. We were also given another desert to go. Will definitely be back here! read more

OMG I cannot believe I haven't written a review. I love this place and definitely want to go back and highly recommend it. Reservations are hard to get and we keep looking every time we have a reason to celebrate. Definitely worth your money. The service is phenomenal and our waiter hooked us up with the best dishes and recommendations. We went with the A la carte option and did a few of everything but were sooo stuffed and the food here is beyond delicious! For the appetizer we - Garden dumpling - amazing! Must have - Field greens with pecking duck - which was probably something which we saw a ton of reviews for but I personally thought we could have skipped this dish Soup - We spilt the wonton soup which was amazing Entree - Three cup Sea Bass - amazingly beyond delicious! Highly recommend this dish - My Shu Pork - very very delicious - Duck stir fry - don't remember the name but was really good and we added - Hand pulled noodle - which was amazing too Dessert forget the name but attached a picture!!! I was underwhelmed by the service. Had to ask for water refill multiple times. I ask for dim sum and the gentleman stopped the cart 3 tables away and I had to walk over and reach over another customer table to grab food... we aren't at a Chinatown dim sum place hah. But overall for food quality and the cheap price I would definitely do it again. But it's only available twice a year for Christmas and CNY. Food 5 stars with 1 star service. Had a delightful birthday celebration at Wing Lei, located in Wynn Las Vegas. They are a Michelin star and Forbes Five-Star restaurant. The décor is exquisite with elegantly set tables right down to each place setting having a special double chop stick rest. On the rest is one black set of chop sticks for eating, and one white/ivory set for serving/helping oneself. Service was impeccable- very attentive without hovering. We decided to try their Imperial Peking Duck, and specifically their Imperial Peking Duck Tasting dinner. They begin by bringing a whole perfectly cooked duck tableside and carving the first course of Peking Duck meat and crisp skin, Mandarin Crepes with cucumber, scallions, and hoisin sauce. They artfully assemble the crepes for you. Since you are expected to eat these with your fingers, they also provide a warm damp cloth rolled up on a separate plate. The duck was succulent and so tasty. The next course in this all-duck tasting was a very creative Peking Duck Salad which included Peking Duck Rolls, Mesclun Greens, Baby Pomegranate seeds, Peanuts in Truffle Vinaigrette dressing. A delicious combination. This was followed by Duck Shu Mai which included water chestnuts, black Truffles and carrot puree. These were good, but not our favorite. Next we enjoyed Duck with braised eggplant. Of course, the duck was perfect and eggplant excellent. The next course was Duck Fried Rice which was served with a Free Range Egg on top of the rice, and Sugar Peas, Yam pieces along with scallions. This was delicious but we were getting full by this point and took most of it home to continue to enjoy later. For dessert we were served what looks like a golf ball sized cherry replete with a hard red chocolate shell, over a custard which surrounded small tart cherries in the center. The stem was hard sugar. As if that wasn't enough, we were also serve little dessert selections on a tree like arrangement and given a small clear box containing a citrus based sponge cake. The Peking Duck matched the finest we were served when in Hong Kong. Kudos to the chef and all of the outstanding staff that made this a most memorable meal. read more
I was excited to try the first Chinese restaurant in North America to earn a Michelin star, but left extremely disappointed. The ambiance and service is definitely what you would expect; beautiful furniture, decor, a little chair to place your handbag in. But the food is nowhere even close to the best Chinese food I've had. * Started off with an "amuse bouche" compliments of the kitchen, like a hawthorn jelly thing on a spoon. I think honestly they did this just because that's what "high class" restaurants do. It did nothing for the overall flow or experience of the meal * Alaskan king crab salad: pretty good overall, but I can't say there's anything about this dish that makes me think it is Chinese in origin. Even the dressing - miso yuzu is more Japanese. * Wok fried scallop: again fine, but boring. Also why truffle? Just because it's to "elevate?" It really tasted and seemed unnecessary. * Braised tofu: fine but absolutely nothing special about it. Could have been from a take out Chinese restaurant and would have tasted the same * Sauteed mixed vegetables: the sauce was EXACTLY the same as the braised tofu. A generic brown sauce. Even though the description said black bean sauce. * Imperial Peking duck: the best of the dishes we ordered. But definitely not even close to the best Peking duck out there. It is carved tableside and you can choose crepes or steamed buns. We went with crepes. The accompanying cucumber scallions and hoisin is authentic. Unfortunately the actual carving of the duck and resulting pieces was subpar. For true tableside carving, chefs train for a long time to get perfect thin even slices and crispy skin. Our server, while extremely gracious, definitely did not have this expertise. It was hacked in very uneven thick pieces. They do break down the rest of the duck and let you eat the pieces. The flavor of the duck was good, but skin definitely could have been more crispy. * Lychee and mango sorbet: honestly this was the best part of the whole meal. They tasted very much like the actual fruit. With Chinese food meals, things are generally family style and you would have the majority of dishes come out at the same time. That also didn't happen. The braised tofu came out and then there was a huge gap between that and the last dish of scallops to come Additionally, the restaurant was playing Chinese pop music that I literally had on a playlist from 5-10yrs ago. That was a bit odd. Honestly, I can tell they are trying really hard to cater to what they THINK a Michelin star restaurant is - it's very obvious. But the supremely missed the mark when it comes to quality delicious Chinese food. Even their "specialty" Peking duck was subpar. If this is what "Westerners" deem good Chinese food they are really missing out. It's sad. read more

The restaurant is pretty and the service is friendly and efficient. They try to maintain a dress code, but this is Vegas so you're gonna see T-shirts and even shorts whether you like it or not. Overall the food is quite delicious. The jellyfish was unexpectedly crunchy but I liked it. The soy sea bass was excellent - fresh and skillfully prepared. The petite fours which are complimentary were very very delicious. I think it's a fine restaurant. There are many good Chinese options in Vegas and this is certainly a worthy place for a meal. I'm not sure the place lives up to the hype or prices but a very good meal is most surely guaranteed. read more

I wanted to just say that I had such a lovely experience here. Compliments to the chef and the service. I really love the fact that my purse had its own chair by the way. It has been my one year anniversary of not eating meat and as well as celebrating a birthday, thank you for making our experience so welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic, and I could tell the chef really appreciated vegetables just as much as his meat. The salads were delicious! The one with the truffle and flowers, brought me a journey. Lol The duck was cooked so well, I had to compliment. I also have a spicy pallet, and I asked for anything they had, and they gave me their house sauce. It wasn't to my level, but I really loved their house sauce flavors. Overall I can go on, but 5 stars. Fantastic and I would definitely come here again. Thank you! read more
