I used to go here every Wednesday night with my buddies when they had the Wingo Wednesday deal and then they changed it up and we haven't gone since. I love their food but sometimes it's hit or miss. I wish I could give them a good review; however, I ordered delivery which was 2 hours late. Not only was it late, but the driver didn't know where she was going despite giving them my exact address. I was forced to go out to a main road to meet the driver who then informed me that she accidentally went to Arlington instead of DC as was listed on my order. So, she said she'd be there soon. The quality and service at this place have definitely gone downhill in the two years I've been eating here, while prices have gone up and up. At this point, it's kind of a crap shoot as to what you're going to get and whether that will be what you ordered. I find that food is almost never made to my specifications (and they're not complicated ones, guys), and corners are cut a lot of the time: shredded cheese instead of the cheese sauce on my fries, forgotten items, wrong sauces, etc. The straw that broke the camel's back for me a few months ago was when I ordered something from them through GrubHub and they misunderstood the modification I wanted, made the food wrong without calling me to ask what I wanted or say they were going to upcharge me, and then upcharged me 12 hours later when the restaurant was closed so that I could not dispute the charge. Due to GrubHub's refusal to correct this problem, I no longer use their service and I have stopped ordering from here as well. read more

I have heard great things about Wingo's and was excited to try them. We ordered delivery, and while the flavors were great, the wings were unfortunately very soggy and swimming in sauce. I'd be anxious to try again for pickup instead of delivery. Wingo's seemed to have potential, but delivery must have put a damper on our experience this time. read more

Ordered Wingo's delivered to our hotel. Prompt delivery, hot food. 4 piece Chicken tender special could easily have fed 2 kids and was delicious. Large pieces of white meat with tons of fries. Original Wingo's burger was huge and perfectly cooked and the ribs, 1/2 rack, was large and falling off the bone tender with a perfectly balanced sweet sauce. When we're back in DC we'll be back! well this place is pretty amazing but it is carry out only and they do deliver to areas around Georgetown if you are like me I have to drive in the parking is not easy but if you can get around this small detail this place has pretty good food I really never have had there wings but there chicken tenders should be called Jesus fingers because they are god like there fries are spectacular omg and there stake and chease is how do we say banging I have been here a couple of times and its steady becoming one of my favorite spots if you are shopping in the dc area and you want to pick something up on the go wingos is good they also have a boat load of other stuff so check em out for your self read more

I ordered their hot wings for delivery because someone had said they were good wings. Maybe I've been spoiled by much more delicious wings elsewhere but these were not good. I asked for extra sauce but I got some of the dryest wings I've ever had. Besides the wings being substandard, the delivery person sat outside in his car until I yelled at him that I wasn't coming out of the house and he had to come to the door with my food. So rude. I was initially excited that this was open very late at night since I too work very late. A coworker decided to order from here around 2am and the food came within 45-60 minutes which I thought was okay, especially since it was very late and we are a few minutes away. The food is priced accordingly to the size of each meal. Although they give extremely large sized food, the food does not taste too well. The overly sized burger which looked good, was extremely soggy. The fries were somewhat over cooked (burned) and did not taste well either. The milkshakes on the other hand were very tasty! For a late night, last option, this is the place. But the food isn't tasty but then again, I will try to give it another try and order something else! From two fat kids...four thumbs up!!! This place delivered to our hotel room at 1am, which sold us right away. After a long day of travelling, we were tired, and uncomplicated comfort food was very much needed. We did not have high expectations. Thought we would fill our bellys and go to bed. We were happily surprised by the quality of the junk food we ordered. We had woody dogs, chicken sandwich, fried ravioli, and mozzarella with basil. Everything was good. And everything tasted fresh and handmade. I freaking loved the cheese filled fried ravioli. Each bite was creamy and rich. I think they use ricotta. So so good. My bf said his chili dogs were some of the best he's ever had, full of flavor, balanced. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken sandwhich. It was GINORMOUS, and delicious. I could not eat the chips they gave us, because I was so full, but it was a pleasant, satisfied, happy full. I think we found a great place to get our snack on. read more

This was quite possibly the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. I could not have foreseen the disappointment that came once I took my first bite into the hideously prepared boneless wings. The menu allows you to pick a variety of different sauces to go along with your wings, but be aware, the sauce has a consistency greasy water no matter what you pick. Fries could possibly be the most simple side dish anyone could prepare. However, WINGO'S lack in this area. The fries were soggy and tasteless. We went out of our way to try the funnel cake. Don't waste the money, the funnel cake was like eating cardboard with a side of powdered sugar. It lacked consistency and the majority of the cake lacked any crunch. I will give it to WINGO'S for their delivery service. They were prompt and nice and we got exactly what we ordered. But of course, those small positives do not override the tremendously mediocre meal that we tried to finish. All of their food is great and inexpensive, especially when accompanied with an online coupon which they release from time to time. Went in to wingo's last week based off word of mouth, but was astounded at the poor quality of service. After waiting 20+ minutes for wings as they focused only on call in orders they finally had my food ready to go but tried to double charge me claiming I hadn't paid and had to argue for 5 minutes to convince them I did in fact pay. I can only speak of the delivery food. This used to be one of my favorites but the last 3 deliveries over the past year or so have been really disappointing. The size of the chicken portions has shrunk significantly and unfortunately the quality of both the meat and fries has dramatically worsened. I'm all for giving places another chance but after 3 chances I won't be using wingos delivery again. It's now just very standard fast food.
