Ordered Thai & Mango Habanero after disappointing experience at Buffalo Wild Wings. I know most wings are just sauced after being fried but BWW had zero flavor in the chicken, just sauce on outside. Tried here on a whim & wings were very good. Place was clean, cashier was nice & wings came quick & were delicious. Highly recommend giving it a try. I added many pictures but I don't work for these guys. Just a good joint, so giving props. Parking is limited, so definitely suggest calling in, though there is dining for maybe 40 people or so. I wish I looked at the menu & saw how varied it was. Definitely want to try other dishes, based on wing experience. Update: Appetizers are hit or miss, but I can strongly recommend the Regular Fries, Zucchini Sticks, and Jalapeño Poppers. Do not recommend Egg Rolls, Fried Rice, Hush Puopies, Macaroni & Cheese.

The worst garlic parm wings you'll ever eat.

Wings are on the small side. Of course, that doesn't stop me from ordering multiple times. Big veggies. Orders are always correct and fast.

From the second I walked in, service was impeccable, welcoming, and helpful. Staff went above and beyond to walk me to the restroom (as it was my first time dining here), out to my patio table, and quickly brought water. Everyone was dressed up for the occasion, chandeliers were lining the interior with a gorgeous and sophisticated look, and the music was a fun K-Pop/dance vibe. Our table of three started with the Buddha Button (essentially a lemon drop martini with Deep Eddy's and a special flower that invigorates your taste buds to create a literal "party in your mouth"). Anything cold adds to the buzzing, vibrating energy; pair the flower with a cold cocktail and it's a phenomenal experience! We also had a bottle of white wine - it was to be expected: tasty. We tried the crab rangoons and thought they were a fun snack, although $21 for four rangoons was tough. I could've gone to Panda Express and gotten four for $3.99 and called it a day. Christine and I both had the Miso Sea Bass - easily the crowd favorite. Even though it was light, it was very flavorful with the sauce, mushrooms, and rice included in the meal. It was mostly filling, though charging $64 for that as the main entree is quite a big stretch. The crowd winner was our server, Maddie. She had amazing recommendations, a full understanding of the menu, and was very attentive and personable. Overall, fun experience! The price for the quantity of food makes it a dubious chance of returning, but A+ for the staff!

Rather than the light, crispy purses they used to be, they are now doughy, barely cooked Mexican-fusion and chewy triangles. And they charge $21.00 for them. Technically, the person who made this decision is called, internally, the head chef, but anyone who makes such awful food is a beginner line-cook.

Chicken, chewy and mushy and not normal meat texture AT ALL. If they're "velveting" it, it's excessive and gross. Chicken Fried rice was okay. But so bland and mushy and wet. Also had the weird chicken in it. Peanut curry lunch. Tasted just like like peanut sauce covering everything. They forgot my egg roll so can't speak on those. The curry had a lot of the mushy chicken and almost no veggies. One broccoli, 3 large chunks of mostly raw red pepper. No peanuts. A few snow peas. Pad Thai. Not good. Weirdest and close to worst pad Thai I've ever had. It had a grainy texture to the sauce and was really thick and really bland but sweet all at once. Just a container of red mush noodles and red mush chicken. Why? I really can't understand what is happening. Is this like premade canned or frozen and super cheap so they're selling it? Pad Thai at better Thai restaurants isn't super hard to make and is much nicer. I am just super confused by it. It really reminded me of Thai cup of noodle microwave ramen-like food I've tried at Asian grocery stores. The gyoza were okay. A little harder and drier than we would have preferred and not crispy by their arrival. I could never order here again because we tried such a broad array and its quality was just horrible over all. Even the rice was mushy and very clearly not high quality jasmine rice. Nothing seemed Thai-like at all. Nothing was fresh, light, savory, or vibrant, all things I associate with food thai food. I'm sure with a few pivotal changes they could perk up the menu.

It was savory, rich, and fun to eat. Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Bowl: Vermicelli noodles, fresh veggies, crispy shallots, and perfectly grilled lemongrass chicken. As a self-proclaimed lemongrass loyalist, I'd order this again in a heartbeat. Elote: Off-the-cob goodness with crispy shallots, green onions, and tiny shrimp that totally worked--I want them on every elote from now on. Shaken Fries with Filet Mignon: Filet + fries = chaotic good. Salty, savory, and surprisingly addictive. Vietnamese Milk Coffee: Sweet and strong, it gave me the energy to clean my apartment afterward. Milk Tea with Boba and Sugar Cane Fruit Juice: Both refreshing and great complements to the meal. Standouts? Definitely the lemongrass chicken bowl and those shaken fries. Don't let the name fool you...they're a main dish, not a side. If you're in the DU area and craving a flavorful, satisfying meal with Vietnamese flair, Kat's Kitchen is worth the trip. They have some happy hour specials, which is nice, but they weren't very interesting. I ordered a nice 300ml bottle of sake, which should come chilled, and it was decidedly room temperature. The server did bring out an ice bucket to put it in, but it was way too late to chill the bottle. I scoured the menu for specialty rolls that didn't come with loads of gloopy sauces on top and didn't find any. I really despise Americanized sushi rolls that are covered in sauce, but I ordered 2 of the more appetizing-looking ones along with the new style sashimi and salmon sashimi. The new style sashimi was described as coming with cilantro (which is how it usually comes) but there was no cilantro in sight and instead they were covered in copious amounts of jalapeños. The cuts were also pretty butchered, particularly given the cost. The rolls were palatable, but entirely too big for my mouth, which just makes eating a bit like choking. I did receive a small complimentary dessert, which was decently tasty. The server was very friendly, but he sort of forgot about me in the end. With all these things in consideration, I probably won't be back. given the location, I would choose Makizushico for dinner over JP Nori every time.

To eat, I got my favorite aburi tuna, which I always make sure to try if a place has them. It was so good, I love the seared flavor and the fish was so fresh, the texture was perfect. We also got the fried rice, it is served with the staff, mixing the yolk of an egg into the dish at the table in front of you. This made it so rich and delicious, and felt like a show. I was really impressed by the rice itself too, nothing simple about it. The flavors were so dynamic, and everything was cooked to perfection. We also had the black miso cod, this might have been the highlight dish. It was so tender and supple, melting at the touch of a fork and even better in your mouth. The flavors were unbelievable, and it leaves you wanting more. The area is pretty central to wash park, a quick five or 10 minute walk over to Broadway after dinner is easy and accessible too. After a quick search for Indian restaurants in Denver, we came across Sukoon--and we are so glad we did. When we arrived, the restaurant was quiet with only a few tables occupied, which made us a bit uncertain at first. However, we were warmly greeted and seated by a gentleman who, I believe, was the owner. His hospitality set a welcoming tone for the evening. We decided to try a variety of appetizers, including samosas, papadi chaat, stuffed mushrooms, gobi Manchurian, and dal soup, as well as shrimp tandoori for our entrée. Every dish was exceptionally well-prepared--beautifully seasoned, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. Each bite was truly delightful. As we enjoyed our meal, we couldn't help but wonder why the restaurant wasn't busier. Sukoon is one of those rare finds you want to see thrive: outstanding food, attentive service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. When we finished, the owner stopped by to ask if it was our first visit. We told him it was--but certainly not our last.
