Refused to deliver the food to the apartment. Why do you think I'm going to provide a nice tip if you are not going to deliver the food directly to us. Every other delivery service comes right to our apartment. We have convenient parking, an elevator for the lazy, and still horrible service. I will NEVER order from WOL again. Great food... but you really need to get in person... I have enjoyed their food since they opened. when they first opened I attributed their broken delivery service to being new. However, it's still broken. Phone orders have a tendency to get messed up, web orders take forever unless you enter them several hours before you want your food. This time I called after waiting an hour for my food and was actually told by an employee not to use their website if you want your food in a timely manner. However if you're ordering super early for a later delivery it seems pretty spot on. The only other downside is there's a chance your food will be cold when the drivers get lost. Despite all this I will keep going back because their chicken is absolute pleasure for your mouth. Every singe sauce or seasoning is awesome and the chicken is very high quality and well cooked. Placed a $60 order, received my order minus blue cheese I paid extra for. When I called they told me "there is nothing we can do" by the manager. So I have buffalo wings and no blue cheese. There has been a decline in the quality over the last few years. We used to order from here regularly because the food and service was good. Now, we frequently find issues like lack of sauce, missing blue cheese/ranch, fries that are over cooked or soggy and most disappointingly, poor customer service. I've been here a few times before. Delivery is soggy and disgusting and I just waited 25 minutes for a milkshake while my boyfriend waited 10 for his chicken. The loud lady with dark hair wouldnt stop interrupting the guy taking my order. Once I got the order taken with in a minute of my friend who also got boneless wings. He got his food 15 minutes before me. Ate it all then two people came in well he was half way through eating. OK... I'll give wings over four stars. Chain restaurant but they are pretty good at what they do. Not the best wings I've had but certainly better than average; bonus points for splitting sauces in orders! I have had many if their sauces and have yet to find one that I don't like. As far as heat goes I usually stick with jet fuel which is a nice balance of spicy and tolerable. For not buffalo, I would have to say that sweet chili takes the cake; hone table mention for garlic buffalo too. I believe they are closed Monday and Tuesday when Umass Lowell is not in session but don't quote me on that. read more

It is nice to see this store front on Market Street populated with another dining establishment. Was looking for a quick meal, at the end of a week, that I could take home to share with the hubbie. Ordered a pound of their "boneless" wings, slathered in their sweet onion BBQ sauce. Was uposed to get celery but it never made it into the bag. The chicken had a wonderfully flavorful coating and certainly had the crunch of something fried but was not greasy. We split the order between us and made a salad. A great Friday meal! My boyfriend was so excited this place opened in Lowell. We tried to go to the one in Amherst but it was way too packed. We got to try this one out tonight. I thought the wings were wicked good. I got boneless and he gone bone in. I had the garlic Parmesan and the honey BBQ and he had the spicy teriyaki. His was really good but not really spicy and it was overly teriyaki flavored and horrifically salty which is great because I hate that. The honey BBQ was really sweet......questionable too sweet but still really good. My favorite were the garlic Parmesan however.......there is soooooooo much garlic. Again, really good chicken tenders. Tried the sweet chili sauce, it was great (definitely had a lil kick to it) on a recent pick up order. Parking can be a little tough but worth it, best bet is to bring a friend who can run in while you double park. Tenders and waffle fries were super hot and fresh. Good choice for boneless wings, last experience was not as good as first couple. When you dine in the wings are soft and cooked thorough and are delicious, delivery they were good also, however the golden bbq wings were on the crunchy side and I am not a fan of crunchy wings, the reason for this is they must have sat in the mixing bowl for some extra time or were overcooked. Great blue cheese dressing and the customr service was excellent and friendly. Delivery was very fast and the food was enjoyable for the most part. If you compare these to the Ninety-Nine Restaurant I would say that dining in here at wings over Lowell is a better wing than the Ninety-Nine, however the delivery standard is the equivalant to the Ninety-Nine because of them being more on the crispy side. Wings are pretty good. I have one major problem with this place: when you order a few different kinds of wings they just throw them all in the same container. I don't understand why they would just mix them all up! You don't know what's what and all the sauces blend together. Charge me an extra 20 cents and use better take out containers. read more

Was wicked excited to finally have a wings in Lowell...as a UMass Amherst grad, I had great memories of ordering wings from the Hangar/wings over Amherst. While the menu is the same, the service, quality and speed here are all awful. Nobody in the restaurant seemed to have any idea what was going on. A 22 minute ticket time to order a 10pc buffalo wings and onion rings while there were only two tickets ahead of me (Order 65 came in by phone while I stood in line, I was ticket number 67...) The onion rings came out soggy and disappointing, the wings were hot but didn't have enough sauce on them, and had several dry spots. Absolute disappointment. Best wings ever. My favorite is the sweet chili well done. It is the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. I also recommend the mesquite fries. The mesquite flavor is very subtle, but it is delicious with the ranch dressing. This might be the best fast food joint around. read more

I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap after a night of drinking and what they delivered to my doorstep was simple inedible. The wrap that they sent me was 80% hot sauce by weight. So hot that even after drinking I simply could not consume this poor excuse of a meal. So drowned in hot sauce that it would put the titanic to shame. The only reason that I am giving two stars is because the Red Sox just made it to the World Series! I love Wings over Lowell because they are always FAST FAST FAST delivery, and their chicken wings are delicious. My favorite flavors are west texas mesquite, sweet chili, mustang ranch, citrus chipotle. Once in awhile I get teriyaki and honey mustard, they are so good! Delivery time is sporadic and you have to wait a very long time for pick up. The wings are really good as long as you order EXTRA SAUCE. If you don't get orders in early during major sports events, you won't get them at all: I went once when they were out of boneless wings.
