Delivery is horrible. They never come at the estimated time . It's either extremely early or very late . Delivery driver does not care about your food. My food was not even stacked on top of eachother . The containers were all over the place in the bag. She didn't say hello or anything , straight up just told me the price of the food and left when she got the money. Didn't even count the money. Food was cold . I don't order or eat here often but it's a decent place to hit after having drinks at the bar because they open late. I enjoy getting their boneless wings here for all the different types of spicy sauces on the side. I used to order delivery online and never really had a problem with that either. Really best hot buffalo wings I have had in several years. The wing meat to sauce ratio was spot on. We got some waffle fries as well which were good. Only weird thing is that if you get more than one sauce (which they pushed on the phone) they put them all together in the same container without separation, which means you get a mass of collected sauce on the bottom. I love the crispy chicken wrap with honey mustard. The chicken is always really crispy even thought it's completely drenched in honey mustard. It's always absolutely delicious. Even with how big the wrap is (more than enough for one person) I always want more! The one problem are the sides. The onion rings are lacking and the fries are always soggy. Wings is delicious! I usually order the honey bbq boneless wings with waffle fries but I've had their buffalo flavor and a couple others and all have been amazing. The ordering is a little funky but after you order once, it's cool. Rather than sizes they order by weight. (ie 1/2 lb, 1lb) the waffle fries are cooked to perfection and I've never had any issues with getting the wrong food. I have, however, has issues with their hours of business, they open a little later than the average lunch/dinner spot. Check hours before trying to get through on the phone.. They say hours of operation are until 2 am, however they shoo'ed me away at 1:40 am. Then I ask to speak with the manager after the employee working gives me attitude telling me that "he's only doing what his manager says" so I ask to speak with the manager and he says "well he said he's busy but he will be out..." 10 minutes go by and no manager comes out. Wings Over Lowell did not disappoint. I put my order in online while cross-referencing the menu and the website to understand my sauce options, because there are lots. The wimpy was exactly what I look for in a buffalo sauce: a nice balance of hot and sweet, but not TOO hot. The honey BBQ was also very tasty. The girl said they will deliver throughout Lowell, though you can't put in a delivery order online. The pickup was pretty quick once someone was available to help, but it was kind of confusing since people were hovering and I wasn't sure if they were waiting for pick-up or hadn't decided what to order yet. I saved some wings to heat up for the game tomorrow and will definitely go back to try some of the other flavors. read more

Tried to place a large order. Was on hold for 10 minutes. Was told that they have to process a card because the order was to large. Told them that I do not have a card and will be paying in cash or I will go there in person to pick up. The lady on the phone was extremely rude. She was so dismissive and sounded like she was to busy to deal with me. After explaining to her again that I would like to place this large order and I will go there to pick up she continues to tell me I need a card to pay her over the phone.... this place is fucking unbelievable... customer service sucks. I rarely write yelp reviews but Wings Over Lowell consistently disappoint. I have ordered from them four times. Every time the delivery has been extremely late and two out of those four times, my soda and fries were missing. On my most recent order, they never delivered my food. When I called the restaurant I was placed on hold for a long time, only to be told that they were given the wrong phone number, they weren't. The gentleman on the phone was slightly rude and placed me on hold a second time and proceeded to tell me it was my fault, basically. However, no delivery person ever came to my door. I live on a public street with clear visible numbers. There was no knock. Nothing. They did state that they would send the order again, but it was already midnight. I placed my order at 10. The service is awful and the food is not worth the effort. read more

The food here is great! The chicken wings are what I usually get from here and they're great! There are plenty of sauces to choose from to go with the chicken. The restaurant itself isn't very exciting but it's still a nice place to relax and eat; they have t.v., no Wi Fi however! The food is excellent. The exact kind of tangy heat I prefer in my buffalo sauce. The bone-in garlic parm wings are incredible but mostly for those who really love garlic. The delivery service is hit or miss for me but the drivers have always been polite. The online ordering system is great too. The styrofoam containers are terrible though, if its a long delivery time they get soggy because of the condensation on the container. Ordered a dc-10 for pickup (boneless wings.) Was told on the phone 15 minutes. It takes me15 minutes to get to the store. When I got there, the wings weren't ready. Not a big deal, but then I see the employees in the back start preparing the wings I ordered. I had to sit there for another ten minutes. Again, not a huge deal, but the point of ordering for pickup is to have them ready by the time you're told they will be ready. Not to have them throw in your wings when you get there... Not to mention there were only two other people waiting in line for there's, so it wasn't busy. The wings were mediocre at best. Good sized tenders, but lots of breading. And for $17 it wasn't worth the amount of food. The only thing keeping this review from being one star is the flavors of the wings and bleu cheese tasted good. Just a suggestion, but maybe the employees should turn the music down in the back, stop dancing, and get the orders out on time read more

They didn't send any of the the fries with my order. When I called to ask for them to bring it over the manager called me a liar and said that he personally made my order himself. He sounded stoned and only sent over half of the missing food. I've been a customer of Wings Over for years and have never received such crappy treatment. A couple of weeks ago I ordered wings after having it many times before and always having a good meal. This time it came the boneless wings were supposed to be covered with honey barbecue sauce there was little to no sauce. They tasted like saw dust. A few weeks later I decided it may have been an off night called again. Talked to girl who answered began to explain situation. She immediately put me on with a man who identified himself as the new franchise owner. He was lovely he assured me it was unacceptable , would not happen again and sent us delicious meals only charging us $8.00 each for the hangar 1 meals. Awful customer service always! Order from them a couple times a month and the wings are always good, the service is always BAD! Last night was the last straw. Placed an order for 30 wings, waffle fries with cheese, onion rings and a chicken sandwich. My hubby asked what comes on the sandwich and the girl on the phone told him: lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo. Ok, no cheese please, my husband responded. So, we receive the delivery and low and behold, there's cheese on the sandwich! Ok, no biggie right? Well, they forgot the onion rings they charged us for also. Hubby calls back and get's the WORST ATTITUDE EVER! Girl on the phone tells him we need to give the sandwich back to the delivery driver so she can check to make sure there is actually cheese on it! Ha! How bout sorry I screwed up your order? Nope! Driver comes back with a new sandwich and the onion rings. I told the driver the girl on the phone was very rude in some not so nice words and he may want to let his manager know. He tells me she is the manager!! What a joke! Let's start off with the service.. the girl who was working the cash register was a bit confused and overwhelmed when talking to her. She was dealing with multiple calls at the same time. I was on hold at least 6 times but I excused her mistakes because she was nice and tried her best. But the food instead was the real problem. We called at 6:30 and received our food at about 8:00. Of course the food was warm and just soggy. Receiving the food that late was hard enough and then they said I didn't pay for my food even after I paid through my card. Awful!!!! Placed a order for pick up they said 20 minutes. Went to pick it up about 30 minutes later, still wasn't done. Waited another 30 minutes until I went up and asked if it was done yet. The man goes oh ya it's done and pulled it out from behind the register, as if he totally forgot I was waiting. Got home and the food was cold, fries were old, chicken tasted as if they just let it sit there all day and just toss it in sauce when ordered. The food is usually great, but the service at this location is so bad that a one-star rating is warranted. I went to college in the Amherst area, and the Wings Over in that location was consistently great. Always fast and friendly service and they NEVER messed up one of my dozens of orders spread out over 4 years. I have friends who had similar experiences with the locations in Worcester and Somerville. But this Lowell location is nothing like the others. They've messed up AT LEAST 1 out of every 3 orders I've made. Blue cheeses are missing, cheese sauces for waffle fries are missing, there's ranch sauce instead of blue cheese, cans of soda are missing, and even one time they forgot a whole milkshake (so I got screwed out of $4 basically). This location clearly doesn't understand the importance of having the right sauce (or any sauce for that matter) to enjoy the food with. I don't live in Lowell and so I need to drive 20 minutes to pick up the food. It is very frustrating to return home after picking up Wings only to find out that they didn't include everything. The last straw for me happened yesterday. I put in a big order online with multiple orders of waffle fries. Upon arriving, I was informed that they were out of waffle fries and they had tried calling me to let me know. I looked at my phone and realized I had missed a call from 2 minutes ago. In other words, it took them 20 minutes after I ordered to let me know that they couldn't fulfill my order. Getting something else instead of the waffle fries wasn't an option as the wait time was 40 minutes. I am done coming to this location. Management has not done anything to address the bad service, which has been going on for years. If you do decide to order from here, you MUST open the bag before you leave and check for everything. Let me open with the pros, which really outweigh the cons: The food arrived really quickly and was super hot. Waffle fries were well-done, as requested. I wish more places had this as an explicit option, because well-done fries are awesome. I gave a large tip because it was shortly before closing, and I'm guessing this had something to do with the fast delivery. Downsides: They didn't provide any utensils, plates, or napkins. I was staying at a hotel when I ordered so I had to eat with my hands. Not ideal. Usually when I order from Wings locations they provide these things, so I didn't think to ask for them. The other issue: the celery was really gross: dried up with brown age lines running through them. Those went right in the bin. On the whole, the wings and fries were really good. Get 'em. read more

Basic deep-fried chicken wings were fine, not outstanding or original. While flies bugged us during our Puddle Jumper bonesuck, the bathrooms were at least clean. The chicken pieces seemed very cheap - little meat and a lot of fried bone pieces that really gave their best shot at cracking a tooth. Perhaps just overfried, or fried twice. I absolutely love Wings Over, and love to get takeout whenever I come to Massachusetts. However, last Tuesday, my boyfriend and I waited around Lowell for them to open at 4. Right at 4, we placed our order and went right there to pick it up. I have never had such gross food in my life. It was obviously refrigerated over night because the chicken was soggy and all the sauce was clumped on the bottom of the chicken, rather than evenly distributed. I know what good Wings Over tastes like, its crunchy and flavorful. This was soggy garbage and a huge waste of both my time and money. read more

When Wings first opened in Lowell, I was incredibly excited. I had visited the Wings location in Amherst many times while a few friends attended college, and always loved their wings. The Lowell location opened and the wings tasted just as good! Until now... Over the past year, the quality and service has gone downhill tremendously. The wings are always very dry and overcooked. They are so tough, and the sauce just gets absorbed into the wing within minutes making it even dryer. The service is terrible inside, and they always mess up our orders. Management needs to change here and get the quality back on track. I won't be going back until I start seeing some consistently better reviews flow in. GET YOUR GAME YOGETHER WINGS! read more
