I mean, let's not expect too much from wingstop. But this place seems to be the worst of them all. Wings were perfectly fine. Fried well, good sauce and the boneless wings were crispy and warm. Biggest issue with this place is that it must employ some of the slowest moving people on the planet. There was nobody in the restaurant that hadn't already been served and our wings still took 25 minutes (after they said 20 and every other wing stop takes 15). They must have been inundated with phone / online orders, and obviously chose to prioritize those. Also frustrating to see what seemed like the owner hanging out watching TV and eating potato salad. I love Wingstop and have had very little issues with them in the past, but this particular one gave me the most frustrating experience ever. I ordered ahead on their app and was given an estimated window of time when it'll be ready for pickup. I drove over and waited in the car until the app told me my order was expected to be done. I walked over and got in line to give them my name for the pickup. They said that it wasn't ready yet but it'll be a couple of minutes. That's fine; they appeared pretty busy so what's a little more time? I stand there for 5 mins, then 10, then 20, and finally 30 mins. Meanwhile, the same staff at the door keep asking for my name, as if it had changed since I arrived at the restaurant. They kept reassuring me that my order was almost done, just wait a bit longer. By the 30 mins mark, I was very fed up, only to discover that they had JUST found my order in their system. Which meant that in the ~45 mins since I placed and paid for my order, nothing had been done. There was zero communication between the staff taking care of the customers and the staff preparing the food. And they'd pretty much been lying to me since I got there. When I finally got my order, I was so hungry and pissed, I just grabbed it and left. Only to find out they got my order wrong. About 1/4 of the wings were in a flavor that wasn't right and I paid extra for all flats but they gave me a combo of flats and drums. I immediately called to tell them and see if they could at least give me a partial refund, but apparently the manager had left for the day, and no one else in the store was authorized to do any refunds. This was literally bungled from beginning to end, and has put me off Wingstop for the foreseeable future. read more

They were barely cooked and were not even crispy. I ordered lemon pepper and you would have thought I ordered unseasoned wings! I could taste no lemon pepper at all! Usually, I call the restaurant and make sure they cook them longer, but now a recording answers. It's expensive to order out and it's a terrible feeling when you don't get what you paid for. This was such a disappointment. Wing Stop was always consistently good, now you don't know what you will get. Well, I got 10 undercooked and under seasoned wings laying in grease. I knew they weren't cooked properly because the delivery person got here rather quickly. How hard is it to cook wings to order and you are a chicken wing restaurant. I've been going to the Wingstop in Cupertino for a few years. I always order my wings extra crispy and with lemon pepper. The Santa Clara location opened up and the first time it was okay. The next time I ordered them they were not crispy, and they had very little lemon pepper on them. Not very good. Third time, I even requested EXTRA lemon pepper, but I got the same thing, and I swore not to return. Well, I just did. The wings are so bad I am not even going to eat them. I just threw them in the trash. Not only are they again, not extra crispy, they have so little lemon pepper on them that they look as though I had ordered plain wings. They are SO salty and have a really weird taste, like MSG or something, as though they have been brined. This location is particularly inconsistent, slow, and dirty. The soda machine is always filthy. The floor is sticky. The counter is dirty. Better off at other locations or getting wings somewhere else. I had an order of wings where some of the pieces were extra well done and others were barely done. How is that even possible. Sauce usually not applied evenly. There are a lot of places to eat on this stretch of El Camino. If they tell you "25 minutes" be prepared to wait like 40.
