Interesting to see the Blockbuster (I used to go to it before it shut down) turned into two storefronts, the other of which I've forgotten already. Wingstop seems to be the holy grail of chain restaurants for many people, so I had to check it out (and who doesn't love chicken wings? Communists, that's who! I kid, obviously). I rolled in and listened to the young woman at the counter deal adeptly with a customer who seemed to be doing his level best to confuse himself about his own large to-go order. When I finally got to step up, I launched into my order directly, only to be interrupted by a request for my name. I'm not sure if the system requires her to enter the customer's name right away, or if she's just trying to keep from forgetting, but it was an interesting quirk I've never run into before. As I recall, the wait was around 15 minutes, and I elected to eat it there as I didn't want it to cool. This new Wing Stop location just quietly opened up under our noses this week. We went in for lunch and it was very busy indeed so the word is definitely out. Being a familiar franchise we pretty much knew what to expect such as the great selection of sauces. We also like that you can split an order with two or more flavors. The coleslaw is very good, the multi flavor soda machine is state of the art, the blue cheese dressing is so-so and the fries are ok too. Being a little generous since they recently opened, but El Camino Wingstop get it together! The boyfriend and I were having chicken cravings and came here Friday night for some take out so that we could study for our Bio exams. We ordered the 15 wing combo, which consisted of two flavors, two dipping sauces, two drinks and fries. After paying our cashier seemed to forget we got drinks with our meal so we had to ask. After getting home we realized that we got one flavor of dipping sauce even though we asked for Ranch and Honey Mustard. Our chicken was also put into 10 Louisiana Rub and 5 Lemon Pepper, I don't even remember them asking which 10 we wanted with what sauce. Nonetheless, the chicken was crisp and my Lemon Pepper chicken tasted good. Can't really give the location a pat on the back since the deep fryers are nearly fully automated. Wingstop was also incredibly packed, with no place to sit nor stand so we waited for our order outside. Such a small layout for a popular franchise! I'll come back again later after they sort out the kinks and make their seating arrangement more efficient. Just happy there's a Wingstop in the Santa Clara area now. read more

Today I called in my order so that I didn't have to wait and my order would be done when I got there. I arrive 15mins after I placed my order and ended up waiting an additional 30mins before my food came out. There were several other customers there annoyed by the fact that everyone's orders were taking 30+mins to be made. Let me put emphasis on the fact there was only (2) people dining in. They were NOT busy what so ever!!! We watched the employees literally standing there not doing anything and looking confused. When approached multiple times by other customers as to why their food was taking so long the guy at the counter kept saying "oh its coming out now". That excuse lasted about 5 more mins before people got the fact that it wasn't "coming out now". One guy demanded his money back after the second time asking. I was almost at that point too but Finally my food came. It's obvious the people working here can not multitask. The guy employees that worked this shift were horrible at their jobs. They seemed to not care about there job, they take waaaay toooo long making the food and the quality is shit, literally shit. We ordered large fries and got what looked like a personal sized ordered, def not what I paid for. Again, I can't tell you how many times I have been to other Wingstops. I know exactly how the fries should be. Hold on this makes sense, cutting food costs to compensate on your loss of customers due to bad service and quality. On top of that I asked for (4) Ranches and the guy gives me (3) even after I repeated the number I wanted several times. So now they can't count. To my surprise it doesn't end there. Now at home finally I go to eat my food and discover that the guy gave me all BLUE CHEESE!!! Wtf seriously???? This is the last time I'm coming to this location. They need to evaluate all there employees even management because you will loose customers because of this and I'm sure the owners won't be too pleased about it. I'm surprised that this location received such a low rating. We placed our order online and only waited 3 minutes after arriving to pick up our order. We ordered Lemon Pepper, Original Hot, Atomic, and received 2 boneless Spicy Korean with the dubnation coupon code. Lemon Pepper was by far the tastiest if the group. The BF thoroughly enjoyed the Atomic. He said they had the perfect spice-could have been hotter. The Original Hot was decent, slightly over sauced and not too hot. The Spicy Korean was indeed spicy and the flavor was not bad. I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. The staff was friendly and you could tell they had endured a busy night. Everything was cooked thoroughly. Next time we will get more Lemon Pepper. read more

I've been here twice, the first time my wings were a little over cooked and over seasoned with the lemon pepper. Staff not so friendly. I decided to give it another go last week and wish I hadn't. Side note: It was more out of convenience because I work 5 minutes away. I was amazed at the amount of grease these wings were lying in not to mention the amount of paper towels it took to soak up the crap. Were they over cooked? You bet they were!
