Farm breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage
    Richard A.

Visited for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. It's a farm to table store -- selling food items along with restaurant options, which was great! My food was delicious -- exceeding expectations and it was prepared and delivered very quickly. The price was fair and the ambience was comfortable - albeit rustic. Would have liked more coffee-shop options and decaf should definitely be an option, even if it's an Americano. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Busy brunch place and I can see why. It's a favorite of two friends of mine who brought me here for my first visit. They have managed to put together an inventive and perfectly-sized menu while maintaining their strong farm-to-table ethic. They are partners/owners of the farm in Plato, MN, which grows almost everything they put on their plates. In addition to their restaurant offerings, they also have shelves and refrigerators selling produce from their farm. I had their Eggs Benedict, which was unique and extremely flavorful. The meat was "Turkish Pork Sausage" and the Hollandaise had a chili pepper twist that was delicious, and it was topped off with shreds of pickled fennel which was awesome. My friends each got a Veggie Scramble Special, which will vary based on what they've raised but in this case had Swiss cheese, tomatoes, and marinated onions. They were delighted with it. I loved the service and the ambience, which gave a very "bustling center of the neighborhood" vibe. That makes parking tricky, though; at 10am on a Saturday I had to walk a couple of blocks. No complaints though; I will walk those blocks again to enjoy this food.

Friend and I came here ~12 pm for brunch. I had the breakfast burrito and she had the breakfast bowl. Burrito was tasty and filling. We didn't have to wait long to order at the counter but when we left about an hour later, the line was long. Service was friendly when we ordered and our found arrived quickly. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Though seating inside was a bit limited, we found an empty table. Parking in the lot was easy and I believe they have more space in a lot behind the restaurant. Though we didn't have any this time, I'd love to try their baked goods!

Our food was fantastic! You order at the counter and wait to get a seat until after you order. Overall, we loved our food. The breakfast sandwich had pimento cheese on it and our breakfast bowl with Korean beef was DELICIOUS

Adorable modern farmhouse ambiance, cafeteria style farm-to-table dining. Delicious classic American food. Seating can be difficult, so I would recommend limiting your party size to 4 people. We really enjoyed the Farm Breakfast and the Kimchi Grilled Cheese sandwich. - Food: 5/5 Delicious Classic American. - Service: 3/5 Cafeteria style, but you can't order until your entire table arrives. - Ambiance: 4/5 Adorable Modern Farmhouse, but mold on fabric walls of patio. Service was ok. Service person working the register was friendly, but it was awkward when they wouldn't allow us to order until our entire party arrived. So we had to wait a few minutes because parking was limited in their small lot and our friend dropped us off while he parked a block away. Inside seating was limited and could only fit maybe 12 or 14 people. They do have several tables outside on the patio, including some that are covered. However it was raining heavily while we were there and our friends sitting near the walls were getting wet during our meal. Due to heavy rains all week, there also seemed to be mold on the fabric walls of the side patio. Once we all ordered and paid at the front register, we stopped at the self-service water station and found a table on the patio. Our food arrived in waves over the next 5-10 minutes.

Cute place. Should have taken pictures before I devoured the Wise Burger. Great combination of flavors lead by the beef. Very good. My friend had the farm breakfast with carnitas... I tasted the carnitas and it was exceptional as well. Highly recommend.

A wise man once said, "farm to table with super thick bacon will make mouth water and tummy full" probably... Wise Acre is an adorable eatery with food that packs a satisfying and flavorful punch. It was a combination of flavors I wasn't expecting and it's a combination of flavors I want again and again. So if you want to make a wise choice, this wise reviewer highly recommends breakfast and lunch as Wise Acre. Enjoy!!

Wise acre is great! They are a farm to table place where you can also purchase a large variety of products made on the farm! I love their breakfast bowl. I got the Korean beef added, and it was delicious. Service is order and then seat yourself- nothing crazy.

I can't believe I haven't come here before. Their food is AMAZING!! I got the brunch bowl which was amazing. I couldn't eat it fast enough!!! All the flavors worked perfectly together. I also got their maple cold brew which was equally as fantastic. It's on the sweeter side though, so if you aren't a big sweet person I'd say it might not be for you. But I thought it was amazing. The restaurant is so cute and its seat yourself. We easily found a table outside on their patio, which is gorgeous. So many plants and flowers. They also have a grocery section in the store where you can buy local produce. I had to snag some fresh tomatoes. I absolutely loved Wise Acre and will definitely come back!!

Adorable little order at the counter shop! Very much farmers market vibes with delicious and fresh food. Apparently most of their stuff is grown only 45 minutes from the restaurant in Minnesota . You can also purchase refrigerated or frozen meats and vegetables. Cozy little heated tent outside too!

The food is so good! I'm visiting from out of town and just ran across this place. So glad I did. Will definitely come here every time I visit! Had the Farmers breakfast and added the potatoes. It was too much food but all so delicious.

Seriously the best place we have had breakfast other than home.. on the farm! Service was amazing. People here are so sweet! The 50's farm vibe has this farm girl !

As usual, Rincón 38 served up a splendid evening thanks to the delicious food, wonderful service from Fernando, and delightful environment. We got some of our reliable favorites--piquillos, the queso frito, and the coliflor. As usual, the flavors and plating were exquisite. I always appreciate the balance of flavors and textures. Salty, savory, sweet, and piquant meet tender, creamy, and crispy. It is truly always a delight for all the senses. My birthday treat was the créma catalana, the Catalan answer to crème brûlée: sweet custard sits under a crunchy sugar crust and is topped with a lovely cinnamon-flavored apple concoction. We also tried a relatively new addition to the dessert menu--the Spanish coffee flan. With just the right amount of sweetness, this flan was sturdy and melts in your mouth. The coffee balanced the sweetness and creaminess--imagine the best coffee dessert you have had, and you're getting close.

It was not great. The problem? I think it was because owner/chef Rene Ruiz Olivar was acting as waiter, not chef. We gave Sr. Ruiz the freedom to choose our tapas, with one exception, the black ink pasta with scallops and shrimp (Tinta Negra) that reviewers have raved about. He said, no problema--he would serve it. Then he must have forgotten because we never got it. The first tapa served, almond-crusted manchego (Almendrado), was plated prettily and was delicious but oh-so-sweet. It was an odd choice for a starter, would have been better as the finale in case nobody ordered dessert. Soon came a lamb tapa (Cordero). The lamb chops' quality was uncertain as the meat was severely overcooked. El Bodegon's langoustines (Gambas al Ajillo) had given every bit of their sea flavor to the sauce, which was magnificent, we all agreed. But where were the dish's promised mussels, the rice? One shared plate, a beef tenderloin tapa (Carne Brava), had apparently lingered too long in the kitchen--the meat was nearly cold. I adore papas bravas (Patatas Bravas). I must have had the dish a dozen times or more during my last trip to Spain, in 2017, when I visited friends who live in Ronda. During my six-week stay, we toured Andalucia, staying at hotels in large cities and visiting small towns. I also spent time sola in Madrid and Barcelona. Unlike in Spain, El Bodegon's potatoes were diced to death. Never in Spain have I ever had patatas bravas that were not substantial in size. All in all, I found the vegetables accompanying the tapas unrecognizable except for the tiny Brussels sprouts. The rest seemed chopped up or stirred to pieces in the pan. Some of my friends had churros for their dessert. They deemed them appropriately hot and tasty. My dessert was cheesecake torte, decked out with a candle as it was my 90th birthday. The torte was a gold-star winner. It was absolutely delicious, its plating the most successful of the evening. It was so perfect it almost made up for the sub-par tapas that preceded it. One of us had a view of the kitchen from his seat at the table. He saw a man other than the chef/owner doing the cooking. Was he a trainee? Did Sr. Ruiz help with the plating? God knows he didn't have a lot patrons to contend with in his role as waiter. It was a slow weeknight, and there were never more than four tables occupied. I sincerely regret that our time at El Bodegon differs from so many reviewers. Like them, I want to see Sr. Ruiz's little restaurant succeed. He has a hard row to hoe, and I hope a disappointing dinner like ours does not befall anyone else going forward.
