I know I've eaten here in the past and was not impressed but we decided to order a couple of NY style pies the other night since we live so close to this location and it had been a while. I have to say...it wasn't bad! Easy, online ordering without any "online convenience" fees. Simple pick up process and food was ready when promised. Staff were friendly during the pickup. The pizza itself was decent. Crust isn't quite floppy enough to be true NY style, but it was good nonetheless. The sauce was tasty and the cheese wasn't wicked greasy. They were also cooked correctly for an order that contained no extra directions. I might consider ordering them well done next time. Working down the road from Wise Guys for 5 years, there were a few times I popped by and grabbed a sandwich for lunch instead of bringing one from home. The bread was always fresh and the sandwiches are huge. I always had to wrap up half to take home. I like their chicken salad. Their chicken parm is also pretty good. This place doesn't know how to follow directions. Both times I've been here I ordered the scarface no peppers or relish but double dipped. BOTH times they didn't double dip. Since I'm already on the scarface I'll go from here. It was mostly bread with barely any meat. Complete rip off for $11. The meat was a bit salty and the whole sandwich was quite dry. I also decided to get the garlic knots. They were a 5 count for $4 which didn't seem like a bad deal. To my surprise they were a bad deal because they were extremely tough and chewy and they also lacked flavor. However the marinara sauce was good. I highly recommend not getting the garlic knots or the scarface (plain). Even if you don't get it plain it's still not worth it for the amount of meat they give you. They have a pretty decent drink selection with a bigger variety than most restaurants. They have Pepsi products, Gatorade, energy drinks and pure leaf. They even have the regular peach pure leaf which is quite hard to find in singles. The drinks here are outrageously expensive though. The girl at the counter was very nice. read more

Very good service fast delivery on a Saturday. Got the 2 large cheese + 10 wings, added a topping to each. Value fair. My fault didnt ask for the wings well done, decent size wings cooked medium. Sauce on the side cup was very small for 10 wings. Pizza is ok, rubbery crust with a decent sauce. No cheese pull, get extra cheese for that. Ordered sausage and meatball on each. This was our first time at the Smithfield location, which is much bigger than the Providence location plus they have plans to add a full service coffee and specialty drink counter too. We ordered a variety of sandwiches #7 (meatball) #8 (steak and cheese) and a #18 (reuben) and all were excellent. They have free WiFi and ample seating - perfect for when you want to get some work done. The menu is large and in addition to sandwiches they serve pasta, pizza, salads, and soups. read more

Service? Awesome. Friendly and fast. 5 stars on service. I'd give more than 5 if I could. This place looks really clean and I love that, too. The menu looks really good and is pretty diverse as well. So all is good with all of that, which is important. I was craving an Italian so I went for it. Sadly, definitely NOT my style Italian. The bread is super fresh so another 5 stars there but I can't stress enough how much I hated the Italian dressing. Hated it. Hated it so much that it just ruined the whole sandwich for me and that was a bummer. It's a golden Italian which I wish I knew. Some goldens are OK but this one, I hated. Have I mentioned I hated the dressing? When I get an Italian I want to taste olive oil & vinegar - that kind of Italian dressing. I guess being a newbie to their Italians, maybe I should have known. But I've never had an Italian with golden Italian dressing on it. Just went for the first time even though we are just up the street all the time! My son has been coming with his grandpa after school so we all had to try it. Wow -- the space is beautiful. The nicest casual pizza shoppe I've ever been to! The service is amazing and Holly at the counter remembered my sons order!!! She brought him all his usual supplies without us having to ask. I wasn't rushed at all and I was even helped make the best decision based off both staff suggestions and my personal preferences. Great sandwiches, have yet to try the pizza so I can't speak to that but I hear its pretty solid which means its probably great by Rhode Island standards. Their menu has something for everyone but isn't to huge which is a hard balance to get right. My go to is their Cubano Its simple but done right, its got a nice thin but crunchy crust, the slow roasted pork loin is flavored perfectly, fresh veggies, and I like to add their house pepper relish to take the kick up a bit. Food is generally ready quickly and the staff is super friendly. Overall great local deli doing what a local deli should be doing. Go here and get a sandwich. read more

Pulled into an empty parking lot except for the delivery driver. Walked into an empty restaurant and stood at the unattended counter for a few minutes before I knocked on the countertops. A smiling man emerged from the back and asked how he could help me. I ordered a single Gangsta burger with Swiss cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. Also ordered a side of fries for $3.50. Just over $11 total. Mr. Smiley said he'd bring it out in a few minutes. I took a seat, every available table was open. Total Ghost Town. After about 5 mins, he brought out hot fresh steak fries. Crispy, needed salt, not greasy, and HOT! Less than 5 minutes later, my burger arrived. It's huge. Definitely higher quality meat, this burger was DELICIOUS! They didn't skimp on the toppings, cheese was melty and gooey, bacon was crispy, and on a fresh (not stale) bulkie roll! I devoured it. Omg. You guys. It was SO GOOD. The delivery guy has come and gone twice in the time I was there and a dad came in with his 2 sons and ordered a large pizza to go. Placed a delivery order that took way too long to arrive, apparently the driver got lost to our location which is 1.1 mile away from the restaurant. Once the order arrived some of sandwiches were wrong or missing key ingredients. I don't think I'll order from this place anytime in the near future. read more
