My GE washing machine stopped working and having read the trouble shooting tips knew it was beyond my abilities. They were polite, clean and knowledgeable, advising on each step of their diagnostic testing. It was a tough diagnostic but they narrowed it down to 2 possibilities, which they ended up not needing to use because they fixed it! They did say that while they got it to work, the problem might come back (pressure switch). But I appreciated they didn't try to upsell and said the $90 I paid today would be applied to the next visit in case their fix didn't do it. I love honest folks and these guys are it. It's their own business so no faceless owners. In fact, I chose them because of their website. Call them for any appliance repair.

I had a GE Profile refrigerator that stopped cooling. I was afraid it was the compressor. Sergey arrived on time and he though it was the inverter on the compressor that had failed. He offered to replace it and if it didn't solve the problem he wouldn't charge me, that is unheard of these days. It not only fixed the problem he also pointed out the hose for my ice maker was leaking, and for a very small additional charge he fixed it also. We weren't sure…read moreif it was time to get a new dryer or to repair it, but since we repaired our dryer once by ourselves, we thought we'd searched online for the issue and try to find the parts at Home Depot for repair. They didn't carry what we need but referred us to APD Appliance Parts Distributor. When I dropped by, I was really impressed by Jim, who when I showed him a video of our dryer and the model number, he was completely familiar with our dryer model, and knew what was wrong. He found the kit we need with all the pieces we need to repair and priced very reasonably. He also told me exactly where I can find more info for how to repair, and was super patient to explain all the details until I felt comfortable. Because we were also experiencing another issue with the dryer needing several cycles to dry (even after servicing our dryer with a dryer vent cleaner company), he also explained how to clean the lint from inside the machine. We took this weekend to repair the dryer and it is now working. We are super grateful for the help from Jim and would not hesitate to recommend this store!
