We really enjoy this place! It's newer and conveniently located in the shopping center. Some of our favorite dishes are Wokalicious and Wokaholic. We usually add on rice as rice does not come with the dish. The lady who usually is at the register is very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is freshly made and she brings it over to our table. There is ample seating. Many of their orders are take out. They have a few bottled drinks and a soda fountain to select from. The only recommendation I have is to change the font on the menu. I absolutely love the flavors they infuse (but be sure to say no spice if that's not your thing...even the mildest dishes have SO much flavor so don't worry about losing flavor by reducing the spice). Absolutely worst Asian food I've had in decades. Rice is dry and overcooked, and the beef in the Bugolgobwas hard as a rock, dry and burned. The rest of the bugolgi is not even bugolgi more rather just beef with something flavoring it that isn't typical for the dish, all charred beyond recognition. Wok in Wok Out is a great place for some quick takeaway. I also love the little boba shop on the inside. It's a great boba place in Frederick. The pad Thai is very good, Kid's fried rice was great. Drunken noodles were spectacular, they are pretty spicy so be careful if you have a low spice tolerance. The Chicken Katsu is alright, didn't really like the sauce that much but that's just a personal preference. Would definitely come again. read more

It hurts to write this, but this establishment appears to have gotten too comfortable and has begun treating loyal customers poorly. The customer service is appalling. I've been vegan for two years and this is a business I've highly, highly supported, though often my partner orders for me since we have an infant I stay at home with. Wok In Wok Out has given me egg in my food and then tried to pretend it was a vegetable...? When I tried to show them very kindly-- and I have social anxiety-- they finally admitted that it was egg but harshly said "so what are you wanting us to do about it??" No offer to refund or exchange the item. Other times I was given pieces of meat in my food, or charged for tofu and then given none, and upon entering the restaurant was called a liar about my order being incorrect. As a new mom I try so hard to support local and eat both fresh and deliciously. I don't have money to spend on an ungrateful establishment or items that are offensively lied about in terms of if they're vegan or not (I always specify). I do not solely blame this on management and credit newer employees perhaps for the decrease in order accuracy and respect? I'm hoping to be able to support more in the future. read more

Nice bowls and plates, but then paper cups and plastic utensils (wooden chopsticks are available). My plastic fork would not pierce the large pieces of carrots in my dish. I was in the area and felt the pangs of hunger so I decided to give this place a try. Apparently it's brand new and has only been open for 10 days. I love their menu options because there's something for everyone including veg heads like me! I got the teriyaki veggies with tofu at a level 2.5 and it's a pretty good spice level for me (however I'm south asian so go accordingly to your own level). The food is fresh and delicious!
