You've got to check out Wonderverse! I visited there with a few coworkers (all of us are Gen Xers), and we had an amazing adventure. We began our evening with dinner and drinks at the bar. The food is fantastic, and the staff could not have been better- they are very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Everyone we encountered there made us feel welcome and gave us the impression that they were genuinely happy to serve us. We then checked out the Jumanji immersive full-body Virtual Reality experience. It was mind-blowing. The technology is incredible! We felt as though we really were in the game itself. We also tried out both Ghostbusters VR experiences. They were amazing also! We got one-hour passes to the game room and checked out all the arcade games. Not having to constantly insert more coins makes playing the games much more enjoyable. We finished up our evening in the Ghostbusters Bar. It is a great place to grab a drink and relax. There are a ton of movie-related details, both big and small, to check out. Overall, we had a truly memorable evening, and we'll definitely be back. read more

I had a lot of hope for this place and even went a couple times with my daughter before today. We were very excited to take my parents, have lunch and then do an escape room. We arrived at about 1:30 and went to the front desk. I explained that we had 2:45 reservations for the escape room and we wanted to have lunch first. They were confused at first as they assumed we wanted to have brunch. Then fairly quickly they said actually we can do that, we just need to give you these other wrist bands and then you can order off of the regular menu. Fantastic! We were sat, then were not given any menus. Fortunately I remembered that they had the menu online. No one came to our table for about 10 minutes. I flagged down a waiter, and asked if he knew how our waiter was. It took him a minute then said, "ah yes I know who your waiter is I'll go get him." A minute later our waiter was at the table. Very nice and fun gentleman who took our order and proceeded to go enter it. About 10 minutes later the restaurant manager came out and said sorry they couldn't take our order. Only the brunch was available. We were not brunch hungry not to mention it was $35 per person. He offered NO other solution. If offered the brunch at half price we probably would have taken it. But no he offered NO solution to the situation. So now it is 2:00 and we are hungry so we said we would have to find something else in the mall. But even then it was going to be tight with the 2:45 reservations. We proceeded to a restaurant right around the corner which was fantastic. Time was getting short however and I noticed that the escape room we were going to do was not reserved in the time slot after. I found on the Fever website that they had a chat function so I was able to get in contact with someone and explain the situation. They said no problem they would help me out but they would need to email me. 10 minutes later I received an email stating that reservations could not be changed less than 48 hours from the time of service. Now seriously people, this concept is great. The VR is a bunch of fun. However, when you have people running this place that have no compassion or able to help in any way because of their situation it is simply not fair. Additional points of note: it states on their website that normal lunch would still be served and posts the hours. Unless management changes I will never be back here. My daughter and I went for Mother's Day. It wasn't crowded at all. Our service was great. We had Jerry and he was super nice and attentive. I had food from the mother's day brunch menu. I'm unsure if these items are on their regular brunch menu. I had crab cake benedict, actually quite tasty. It came with a lemon pound cake. That wasn't too flavorful. 2 managers or asst managers came to say hi and check on us and that was appreciative. The place itself is very spacious. There's a bar and area u can sit and just enjoy a drink. My daughter and I played the arcades games and a escape room. I really enjoyed the escape room. It just seems a bit expensive to me, it's $25/pp. There should be a bundle package offered, u get so many escape rooms for this discounted price or if you have 4+ pp you pay ex amount. They have a few unique experiences, highly recommend the Jumanji VR, a complete immersive experience where you get to physically walk through the course and actually need to communicate with your teammates to make it through since some teammates see and hear different things special to their characters. Ghostbusters VR is also cool, you work in a group of 4 to shoot ghosts and defeat the boss, however for this one you're stationary. Arcade area needs more games I saw the Zombieland bumper cars, while it's a fun concept it's quite a small space. I can see how that might make it more challenging. Overall I hope they add more experiences, it's a large venue and feels like there's a lot of wasted space, when we went there wasn't a lot of people. read more

I was excited to celebrate my birthday with a small group of friends/family. We all anticipated this new experience, but no one was prepared for the horrible Saturday night we endured. There were a variety of problems during our visit... First our server provided 1 drink menu to be shared amongst a party of 6. We received 2 bowls of lemon slices, but no water to accompany them. Our drinks arrived at room temp. 5 of 6 entrees arrived at our table together. Then the 6th entree (smash burger) shows up, but missing the most important component... MEAT. My family and I decided to try this place out, the first Saturday following their soft-opening. It did not appear busy. The service and staff need a lot of work. It took our waitress over 20 minutes to prepare 2/3 cocktails just to come back and tell us they ran out of an ingredient for the 3rd cocktail (You Had Me at Hello). She asked my husband what else she could get him to drink, he said just a Coke..she then informs our table that the Coke machine is out of service.. my husband then asks for a Miller Lite and it took over 15 minutes for the waitress to come back with the miller lite from tap.. the food was just okay- my family all got different dishes and we all agreed for the price, the quality of the food was "just okay." As far as the activities after dinner- we had to figure it out on our own. There's no signs or staff to guide you. The escape room and Jumanji were completely booked for the evening, so we only were able to book Ghostbusters VR and visit the arcade. After purchasing the tickets from the kiosk we got in line for the Ghostbusters VR, and soon found that the activity was way behind on time. We had tickets for the 7:30 time and the groups in front of us were still waiting and they had tickets 45 minutes ahead of us. At 8:15 we decided to get our tickets refunded because an hour of waiting wasn't worth it for a 5 minute VR activity. The arcade was just like any other arcade. There are bumper cars in the arcade which only were functional when there was a staff member available to run it. It took us multiple attempts coming back to the bumper cars before we were actually able to get on. This place has all the right ideas and the vibes are cool, but definitely needs a lot of work. I do plan to give this place another chance in a few months, hoping there's a lot of change within the staff, service, food, and wait times. read more

We went during friends and family so not sure what the pricing structure will be when it opens. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but the Virtual Reality games were cool. We stopped in for a quick drink at the Ghost Trap bar. Immediately upon stepping in we felt a cool speakeasy vibe. Definitely a fun place to stop for a drink. However, where I take issue was with our bartender. She didn't seem to have familiarity with the cocktails. From the looks of the espresso martini we got compared to the "business owner" photo on this page she didn't know how to fill a glass either. They were "out" of one of the featured cocktails on the menu that I wanted to try and the Jell-O shots I saw online were no longer on the menu. I will come back though as I think my kids would love to try the VR and I'd give the bar another try, just maybe opt for a beer instead. read more

My family had a great time here! Wonderverse is a VR Game Center with an arcade and escape room. There is also a hidden speakeasy for those over 21. It was my first VR experience and it was not overwhelming. The Ghostbusters experience lasts 3-5 mins and is a good starting point for beginners. The Jumanji experience is about 25 minutes with several group challenges against a new villain. The arcade has a couple rare vintage games like Defender in addition to giant screen shot Pac Man, Space Invaders, midway classic Skeeball and newer games like Halo or Minecraft. The restaurant food was standard bar food and pretty good. We got the Ghostbusters s'mores that they roast tableside with a mini torch. While we were eating, the manager Justin came over to check on us and put extra credits on the game cards for the kids. All of the staff was really nice. We will definitely be back. On a side note, this place is HUGE! It would also be a good activity for a class reunion or family reunion excursion. read more

Just Meh. It was fine for a single visit, but it is primarily just another arcade sparsely skinned in Sony IP. Feels a little too much like a cash grab. The ghostbuster VR games were short for $10 bucks a pop. Once you got used to being in the game. It was over. No intention to go back to play again. The Escape room wasn't properly reset and one of the puzzles was likely broken. I've played much better escape rooms. Def not worth cost. Zombieland bumper cars game didn't seem to quite work, so it was just bumper cars in a ridiculously small space. We had as much fun as we would have at a Dave & Busters, but paid a lot more for it. Can speak to the food, drinks, or Jumanji. But I'm sure they would have been as lackluster as the rest. Overall, a lot of shiny things with little depth. Spend your money at places that specialize in one thing and aren't trying to be everything. Went there for my birthday celebration. Made a reservation at for dinner at 6:00 pm and booked a private session of the galleon escape room online for 7:30 pm. We were seated quickly. But other than that, most everything was horrible. The waiter took a long time coming to our table. When he did, he told us he would be back to take our drink order. He took so long to come back, we were ready to order our food. Pushed the escape room reservation back since it seemed like service was slow. Three of the people (myself included) ordered the salmon. The salmon came and the entree was nothing like what the menu described. It was on a bed of salad/greens with corn and bacon with dressing drizzled over it. Wouldn't be a problem but we don't eat pork. We asked our waiter about it and told him the description does not match the entree. Proceeded to open their menu on our phone. He said the online menu isn't updated but the paper menus were. He brought back a paper menu and it was the EXACT SAME MENU. He took back the salmon entrees and said he would ask the kitchen to remake it sans bacon. He came back and told us that it was premade and they weren't able to omit the bacon. At this point, it been an hour since we were seated and we were pretty hungry . Asked him to tell the chef to just put salmon on the any salad plate. We thought it was just our waiter who was unfamiliar with what the establishment was serving but nope...it wasn't. A person from our group ordered the tacos and asked what the white sauce was on top. Our server was taking forever to check on our table so we asked another server who was passing by. He said he didn't know what the sauce was. We asked him to bring some sour cream so the tacos wouldn't be so dry and he did. It seems like this establishment just hires people and throws them into the role without proper training. They didn't know the menu or any of the ingredients that should be on the entree. At this point, they are not servers, they are merely order takers. They rectified it by comping the salmon entrees but honestly, they charged us $29 on the receipt but it should've been adjusted to the price of the salad ($19) and then comped because that's what we substituted it for. Now onto the escape room experience. We changed our reservation time from 7:30 to 8:10. It wasn't a hassle at all and they were very nice about it once I explained that we'll be delayed since dinner was taking longer than anticipated. They checked us in and started the video for us to watch. While we were walking into the escape room (the galleon) 3 people walked in with us. That was pretty confusing. Not only did I book a private escape room experience, we had a party of 7 and they let 3 walk-ins join our party. I went back to whoever was at the front and explained that we paid for a private session so no one else should be with us inside, I also told him we were a party of 7, they included 3 walk-ins for an experience that was maximum 8 people. How on earth did that make sense? They told us that we would have to wait almost an hour for the next time slot. We informed them that we were alright with any of the other escape rooms, we just booked a private party and would like it to be our group without extra people. He started a video for us to watch for another escape room experience. While we were watching it, he came back and told us that we can proceed to the galleon and he'll inform the walk-ins that we would be going ahead of them. The experience at the escape room was fine. That's the only plus I would give. If I came back, I would only check out their arcade. Other than that, it's really not worth a second visit. This place definitely needs a lot of improvement. read more

It was so real and u truly are a part of the game!!! Ghostbusters was fun as well and the bad boys street racing was A1! The ride actually moved!! Pricing is reasonable as well! I WONDER why Wonderverse exists? Whoever got this project passed by Sony is STEALING ALL THE MONEY! This is a very sparse layout for the huge space it is. Dave and Busters is a better arcade, the Sandbox VR is probably better, and the speakeasy the Trap is tiny like it should've been Hobbit themed speakeasy, but wait, that isn't Sony! This place blows chunks of ectoplasm! It is hyping things up for Ghostbusters, but really, I'm not sure why this place exists? There's alot of places in the mall or nearby that do what it attempts to do, BETTER! This place appears to be going under. Employees aren't helpful, and often not at their stations to be available. Kichen was closed on a Saturday in the middle of the day. We also bought a $90 Groupon for a card which stopped working and management did nothing to resolve the issue. Attractions weren't part of the Groupon which was deceptive advertising. We were so excited to try out Wonderverse and wanted to check it out first to see if we wanted to schedule a bday party there. Unfortunately, we won't be scheduling a party and I'm not sure we'll be back. The good: - It's clean - Cool decor - Good music - The guy greeting people was friendly The bad: - VERY expensive for what you get - Employees not helpful or communicative (besides the first guy) - The escape room that we did was disappointing. There was a missing battery in one of the components, which took us forever to figure out that finding the battery pack wasn't part of the game. When we called for help she ignored us. We had to call again and by the time she got to our room, we had lost valuable time. Then, one of the locks was broken and we couldn't get the box open. Neither of these were because we couldn't figure out the puzzle, it was because of employee error and broken equipment. When the time ran up and she opened the door, saying we didn't escape, we asked for more time because of these errors. She got angry and refused saying that there were other people waiting. My 9 year old daughter cried. - Next up we tried the Ghostbuster ride. Which didn't work. They had to call over people to help, which was fine, but still. This place is so new and things are already broken. After this experience, my 10 year old said he didn't want his birthday party here. My 16 year old wasn't interested in bringing his friends in the future and my youngest was crying. I can see why this place was empty. We're so bummed. We really had high hopes and I really hope they can fix things. It is a great idea, just didn't deliver. read more

We visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon with no reservations so we were a little worried about that but luckily the place was practically empty and we got to do everything we wanted. The Jumanji VR is a must do, and we did the church escape room, but we didn't finish and got the key as soon as time was up. I wish you got a little more time for this attraction. I'm not sure that I would go back because we did everything we wanted to do, and I'm glad I bought a groupon because the prices are very high without it. Everything was just OK. Nothing special for the price. Games are ok, food was ok, but no real innovative VR or food that would bring me back. Decorations were ok as well, nothing great. The bad is, the ticket ordering system. We were charged a general admission plus our 4-pack meal and passes. We asked to have the general admission removed and we told, nope. Sorry, too bad. It's in our T&C that we cannot give refunds. That said it's my choice not to return. You will get more for your money at another venue.
