I have been many times for a few years now. It's a great place for burgers and other types of food such as subs, mexican food, and chili cheese fries! Here is what I have eaten: Nachos Grande- The first time was the best nachos ever! But then for some reason the last two times I got it there was absolutely no flavor in the meat, it was bland! So make sure to tell them to flavor the meat if you order this. Famous Burger- It is great and juicy and it comes as two sandwiches so you can save one for later to eat as dinner or next day lunch. Bacon Cheese Deluxe- First food I ever ate there, the burger was great but the "halal" bacon was hard like a rock. Chicken Club Deluxe: It is made from chicken breast and it was juicy, not dry. But again it came with the "halal" bacon that was really hard to eat, so ended up taking it out of the sandwich. Inferno Burger Deluxe: This had pickled jalapenos in it that are eaten with nachos. It was good, but if you like spicy then I don't it's that spicy then. Chicken Quesadilla: It is 1 huge tortilla folded in half and cut into 4 pieces, I loved it! Chicken Wings Deluxe: I have gotten this the past few times now, I love the wings they are juicy and tender and the sauce is awesome! Turkey Wrap- Cut in half, stuffed full of the meat that you pick. Like a lot of meat. The turkey sub is great when you are watching what you are eating since it has less fat. Famous Tacos: Meat in soft-shells, it was delicious. Turkey Sub, Chicken Sub, Steak Sub: Again as mentioned for the wraps, it is full of meat! The cheese was oozing out of the steak sub, it was great and comes with sauce for that sub. Chili Cheese Dog: Excellent Chili Cheese Fries: This is so great!!! I absolutely love it! Definitely try this when you go, this is my favorite on the menu. And if you can't sit and eat then you can order to go and just come and pick it up. It usually takes between 15 to 20 minutes. read more

I've been here a couple times now and I'm just getting to review it. The food is 5-star. The service varies greatly on how busy they are. If there's no one there your food will come out with average wait time. When there's a lot of people, service is very lackluster and takes forever. This is the first time I came with a decent amount of people and saw how disorganized they are. After I placed my order, the cashier told me the wait time would be 20 minutes. I ordered the Western Burger and a side of Onion rings. 20minuted seemed excessive but I told him "Cool, thanks for the heads up." During my wait, several people complained their food was taking forever. If they can pull it together during busy times, this would definitely be a 5-star place. Their burgers are very good. For some odd reason the food seemed incredibly lacking, but i think it was because of how SHITTY our waiter was. The food is delicious and worthy of 5 stars. Hands down great burgers and lots of variety. The inferno burger we had tonight was great and onion rings were pretty good too. We had the nachos for the first time and weren't disappointed. We've actually sampled most items on the menu over the years and have a consistent experience when it comes to flavor. Service on the other hand is not consistent. Came in tonight to break our fast and they were overwhelmed. We asked for dates on 2 separate occasions and got none. I got up and asked for water to break my fast. No biggie I'm patient but disappointed that other tables got served water and dates and we felt neglected. Maybe it's because we don't dress in a scarf or a beard. Whatever it is the service has gone downhill over the years. No one even stops by to check on you and see how things are. Yummy Halal food, great casual decor, actual waitresses (not some family member in a shalwar kameez), and a it's open LATE! I've been here twice and members of my family have been here even more times and we all agreed that they have consistently good food and service. The halal bacon cheeseburger is grease heaven and I love their potato wedges and onion rings. They also have great milkshakes and fresh juices. Havent tried it, but in Ramadan they have an iftar buffet (with American and Arab food) and they are open for suhur. They also have a full sheesha / hookah area on the outside patio. read more

If you look at the menu online, u should know that the place changed their name from "famous hamburgers" to "world famous grill" and that for this burger, you should add $2 to the price online. Inez told us that they were out of buns for the burger, so I asked her to just use 2 buns w/ the same meat. Burgers finally came out and what they did was make 2 1/2 WOF burgers for each of us. DAMN....those burgers were good! we each killed out plate w/ no problem and got our picture taken for the wall of fame. Seriously though, the burgers here were REALLY GOOD! oh, and they're Halal in case that matters to you. i have been back several times. the name has changed slightly, but the service is still good and the food has gotten better. this last time i went there was a mix of locals (arab, hispanic, thug and otherwise) and a mix of people who seemed to have driven from far to get here. the dinning room was 3/4 full and the service was good. our food did not take long to come out. i have stopped ordering their US foods ( i love their onion rings) since they added middle eastern options. now i get their shwarmas, "pizzas" and such. very tasty. right temperatures. good portions. i am glad to see this place flourish and see it get better. i will go back more often than before. read more

This is for the store that is attached to the restaurant. I call them on a regular basis to get dandelions for my pet guinea pigs. They are so nice and helpful. Yesterday I stopped by and was able to buy romaine lettuce and parsley. You cannot buy fresher vegetables than they have here. Normally dandelions go back very quickly but anything I have bought here last a week or more. They also have awesome European candy and pita bread. There is a butcher counter in the back. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant when we were yelping burger places in the area. The reviews seemed decent and they offered a variety of food including American, Mexican and Mediterranean...so hey why not in case out taste palette changed then we could order different cultural foods! We pulled up to a private parking lot and noticed very few people there. The waitress warmly greeted us and got us seated. The service was definitely friendly and quick. The menu was a little overwhelming since they offer three different types of cultural goods. I ended up ordering the beef shawarma and my bf ordered the chicken wrap with fries. Both dishes were actually pretty good. The second time we came back, we tried their chicken strips, chicken roll appetizer and steak wrap with fries. The chicken strips were mediocre, but the chicken rolls were SO delicious! We received the wrong wrap (chicken instead of steak), but the waitress was nice enough to comp us for the steak wrap! How sweet! Tonight was our third time coming back and we received the same quality service and good food. Considering the restaurant is only 2 miles from my bf's house and is reasonably priced, we will definitely be returning for the outstanding service and good food. read more

I feel terrible giving this place two stars; the owner, an older woman from Lebanon, was really sweet and one could tell she was proud of her diner, but frankly, the food wasn't that good. I ordered the shawarma and it was greasy. The hummus was grainy and bland, and I'm sure it was drizzled with vegetable rather than olive oil. Perhaps, World Famous makes Lebanese comfort food for people of Middle Eastern extraction, but I did not find it tasty nor satisfying. Certain cooking traditions are specifically geared towards a particular group of people; and the fact that the food is halal, might be a draw for some.
