While driving through town and wanted a bite to eat, we spotted World's End and thought it looked nice. The pirate theme caught our eye so we decided to give it a try. It wasn't super busy, especially for a Friday night. There were maybe 5 tables being served including ours, but our waitress seemed frazzled and rushed us. I asked to try an IPA on tap, she came back a few minutes later and said it was only in cans. I said that's okay, I'll just go for the other IPA on the menu. A few minutes later, she returned with a peanut butter stout and walked away. Whatever, no big deal, I could have said something but beer is beer and I'd hate to waste it. Then she returned to take our order. I asked for the cod tacos, she seemed confused and said "got it, cod and chips." I corrected her, she mentioned she was having trouble with memory and couldn't work the iPad she was inputting our order into. Again, no big deal, just a little unprofessional. This is where it got frustrating. We ordered an appetizer which came quick, but we finished it and waited for our dinner for probably 20-30 minutes. Our beers were nearly empty and we were never asked if we wanted another. Our waitress kept saying our food was almost ready, but we kept waiting. When our food finally popped up in the window, we could hear her arguing with the chef. She rushed our food over and apologized, and explained that the kitchen was too busy bickering with each other to make our food. Kinda strange. Again, whatever, our food was in front of us so we were fine. The thing is, she kept coming by and making more excuses for what happened. Then, the other waitress came by, and had some story about how salmon takes longer to prepare and they were planning on preparing it the next morning. It was overwhelming when we just wanted to eat the food we had been waiting for. We were extremely nice through all of this, most people wouldn't have been. The icing on the cake was that we weren't even finished eating and our waitress awkwardly came over with our iPad and said "alright ready to check out?" Didn't ask if we wanted more beer, or anything else, just rushed us into paying. We also paid full price for our meal. The food, was just okay. Nothing special. As a former waitress and bartender, this was handled poorly. We were extremely patient and understanding, but excuses don't fix mistakes. I would not return here or recommend it. read more

We were looking forward to trying this when it opened. Heard they were going to have all kinds of great beers. My husband ordered the albacore and chips, Our friend ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the prawns and chips. We all ordered the only stout they had on tap, which was very disappointing since hardly anyone offers a variety of good stout beers. Even though the beer was a flavored coconut beer it was still pretty good. Now the food... My husband's fish was extremely overcooked and dry and 1 very small piece for the price. Our friend's fish tacos were bad. My prawns were no better than a frozen prawn you buy in store. Service was a little slow, she was a little confused, but friendly. My wife and I were looking for a quick bite on a cold Dec night after waiting for the cable guy to install our WIFI. We found this new establishment that opened in August 2019. Andy took great care of us with excellent service. She had the Crab Salad and I had the Salmon Salad, both with Balsamic Vinaigrette. The salad portion was generous, very fresh and the meat was cooked perfectly. I had 3 oyster shooters for an appetizer and she had the Shrimp Cocktail. Shrimp were fried and light and flaky. She also had a cup of Clam Chowder. It tasted great and was so chunky, I used my fork for a taste. We will try this again! read more

Hope you're not expecting a drink that's not beer. we tried to get three different drinks and they didn't have the right concoction to make any of them however they did say they would go across the street to the store and grab a red bull or a drink but when he arrived back with the red bull they had no Jaeger I ended up getting a blended drink but they forgot to tell me first they had a really horrible blender so I actually wasn't able to even drink it through a straw there was so much ice chunk. read more

I can understand it is a new pub but the service was completely scatter brained and disorganized. Food was okay. I got a burger, oyster shooters, and some clam chowder. I went in for halibut and chips. On a cold day the hot food is just so comforting! The fish is very juicy and tasty, fries are cooked crispy, even the coleslaw is great. The chef CT is wonderful and he pays attention to what customers' need. Our server Keeshanna is warm and welcoming, she is very knowledgeable, too. I highly recommend to go there and try their food! Music sounds clear and beautiful! Not to mention the whole restaurant is so well decorated. If you love beer, you definitely need to try theirs! read more

I'm giving two stars for the decor and the beer. The halibut fish and chips were bland and tasteless. Pretty sure they came from a freezer bag. Not only that, I was disappointed to see a little sign on the window from that Q anon constitution law group. Just because it claims to be constitutional, doesn't mean it is. It would be nice to enjoy a restaurant with *good* fish and chips and no politics, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We visited this place tonight after everything else being closed by 8pm. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service. The manager/server was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was excellent and my crab melt was the best I've ever had, all crab and fresh off the boat this morning. We we will defiantly be visiting again. read more

We try to support the small businesses locally, especially during the pandemic. Though my in-house experience wasn't impressive, I was willing to give this another try. Great food, awesome decorations, perfect service. I had the prawns and fries, hubby had a bowl of clam chowder, both were excellent. The prawns were cooked perfectly and served with a house made cocktail sauce and house made coleslaw. They have a great selection of local beer on tap and tons of other selection for hard liquor. The red head is super nice and wonderful to talk to. I highly recommend giving this place a try, we are local here and this is definitely going to be our new spot. The decor is nice and it is a great location but two of the three burgers we had were not cooked thoroughly and we asked for them to be microwaved so the inside would cook, I believe that they were put back on the grill though - mine still was very pink and not hardly cooked in one area. Undercooked hamburger is a high risk for E. coli Our server was only slightly attentive and was not very prompt and didn't go out of her way for service - likely since she was the only server there and there were several parties that came in at once. I may give them another chance next time I'm in town, hopefully they will cook the burgers to temp and all the way through - and have more attentive service. read more

Well I struggled with rating this place was pretty good but there was some very few things where you would wish they'd go the next step like especially their fries they are very good steak fries but they aren't seasoned so if they could maybe season those babies up or even go to a truffle fry they would be killer. I had the halibut tacos which they were very good I wish they took of some of the veggies and some of the chipotle sauce because it over powered the fish but that is very bit picky overall a nice restaurant top of the line root beer. I almost walked out with how rude the, I think manager maybe, was to staff and even people eating. My husband and I sat and watched 8 people leave because they were waiting forever on their food, and when they asked about it, all they got was snappy remarks. Well- it's hard to know where to begin. If filthy, terrible service, mediocre food is your jam- pull up a stool. But not from another table. This warning is nestled beneath the filthy glasstop of the table. You can't miss the bright orange sun shape warning you not to take the uncomfortable stools from other tables- looking around, that's exactly what other diners had done. Selfish miscreants- wanting enough seating for their party. The nerve. The most special part of the experience was the bartender/waitress/cashier experience. She explained that she couldn't and wouldn't accept my Son's girlfriends identification. And she scrutinized mine for four minutes. I'm 53. After the first minute I went from feeling flattered to confused. Was she memorizing my information so she could pay me a visit or was she trying to remember if she'd seen my picture at the post office. We completely understand your assertion that the state imposes these rules- she's just trying to avoid jail time. Again? It didn't fully explain why she scrutinized mine. I'm sure she had her reasons. I'm just the customer after all. The neatest part of our 65.00 dollar dining excursion was when my Son approached the bartender/cashier/waitress to order another beer- She opened with " you guys aren't over there feeding her, are ya?" Wait, feeding her what beer? If she was keeping track then she would have remember that his girlfriend isn't a beer drinker. She had tried to order cider. Rules are rules- no biggie. She enjoyed her vitamin water. So this place; isn't for kids, even the 24 year old or 53 year old kind, isn't for those who are at all fussy about cleanliness. Who needs clean tables. These were with spots of grease and sticky old beer. Also- liked the vintage vibe. But the old repurposed (good for them!) wood smelled musty. Was it worth over 64.00 for a bowl of chowder, two small pieces of fish and fries- and small and two chicken strips and fries. The cut strawberry was a nice touch. Only wish the chef was in charge of the rest of the experience. I tell my Son- there's a fist time for everything. And a last. Sometimes both happen in succession at the same place. Save your money. Only if the world ends and this is the last place in the world to get food would I ever go here again. Our waitress was horrible and a box of Gorton's Fisherman is better than what they serve. Everything was out of a box and I'm not sure what box they found the fish in but it was just plain wrong! How hard is it to batter your own fish??Should've known when we had to ask the waitress to bring us the beer that we ordered. She forgot that we asked for IPA and some how even after telling here again she came back with some sort of Hefe. We let it slide but it only went down from there. Was really disappointed. Was hoping LB got a fun place with fish and chips and burgers which was one of the items we tried as well and it wasn't anything special. Watched our food get cold and warned another couple who had to ask for there beer like we did.
