One of my absolute favorite poke spots in Austin. At my work we order lunch every Wednesday and this week they gave the option to order WOW Poke, and lemme just say WOW is correct!!!!! Seriously such huge portions and amazing flavors. I love their truffle tuna and their sweet sesame salmon- you can definitely taste the truffle and sesame. I am obsessed with their fact that their rice tastes incredibly fresh and delicious, they add greens too if you want rice AND greens and it's super delicious because the house sauce that I added seeped through the fish and toppings and made a delicious dressing for the salad part. If I'm ever ordering poke- this would definitely be my first choice. Oh and it's so huge you can definitely get 2 meals out of it depending on your hunger!!

Poke truck + next door tiki bar = Wow Poke is a cute little truck with a couple of picnic tables. I ordered via Yelp (grubhub) and was easily able to put together my custom bowl. The app quoted a pretty wide pick up window, which I embraced thinking I could get a drink beforehand. I checked at the food truck, and it was RTG, about 12-minutes after placing my order. Lucky for me, the tiki bar has to go cocktails (check out my review of Lovebirds). The poke.... maybe I deserve a little credit for the ingredients I picked, but this was by far THE BEST poke bowl I've ever had. I did the truffle tuna and ponzu salmon w/ a rice & greens mix. I added cucumber, radish, red pickled onions, ginger, mango, sesame seeds, and a light ponzu sauce. It was a taste buds party... Seriously delicious, very filling (the portions are great), and at under $20 a great deal considering the portion and quality. Sidenote.... I used one of my Maui onion chips as a scoop, and This may end up being a weekly thing!

I only had the donuts and the small poke rice bites. Both were really good. The donuts had a pretty dough and the dip combined really well together. The poke bite thingy also tasted fine. But careful when eating it in one full bite. The deep fried rice cake is reallyyy HOT. I couldn't talk for several seconds

4.5 Stars A solid poke bowl food truck :) I did a 2 protein build your own bowl with salmon and truffle ponzu tuna poke - is came out to around $18 with the seaweed salad extra ($2). What I loved was the variety of sauces, proteins, and toppings offered - and the cool checklist they give you for easy ordering. All the ingredients seem really fresh too. Other menu items are rice wraps and desserts - BF loved the chicken teriyaki wrap ($12). They are attached to a really cool bar called lovebirds so you can sit inside and get a tiki drink with your poke bowl - ah, pure island vibes! My only nit is your bowl can get really pricey if you add non too many premium toppings - but $20ish for a full meal with fresh poke is still pretty reasonable. The staff member taking my order was very friendly :)

Maybe it's just me but I think I'm no longer into these types of Poke bowls. I ordered a few items and found most to be either average or underwhelming. Seaweed salad - this was decent, seaweed salad is always the same, if you like it then you like it. Wow wings - the wings were overbreaded, covered in sauce that was a little bit too salty and sweet for my tastes. Spam Musubi - the spam glaze was just too salty. I know this was a salty dish but the first bite might've messed up my palette for the rest of the meal. Ponzu Truffle Tuna Bowl - sizable bowl with fresh ingredients. I wish the rice was a bit crispier but it tasted pretty normal to me. I got tired of eating it towards the end, and this might be my problem with poke bowls like this now, it's just not for me anymore.

Yummy and nutritious meal on the go. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and asked for some chili oil on the side, the flavors were wonderful and rich and the food came in just a few minutes which was perfect for a quick pickup in middle of the workday. They do have some benches to sit on if you want to eat there as well.

Wow, this place has become a new staple for me! Huge portions on the bowls, so come hungry! The quality and freshness of the tuna and everything else is top tier. There's two tables to sit at right in front of the truck then some seating at the bar next door. The spicy daiko starter is a combo of warm, spicy, and crunchy so good that it is a must try. The bowls were fun to customize with so many options for protein, toppings, and sauces. They make it easy to order with a clipboard that you check off everything you'd like. I really liked the fresh tuna, snow crab and the baked salmon for proteins. The spicy ponzu and spicy mayo are a perfect sauce combo. The California wrap was good but was not a stand out amongst the other things. It tastes exactly as you'd expect and comes with some kind of aioli or mayo dip. I tried the pineapple orange aloha drink and it wasn't too sweet. I really liked it! Was a good pair to all the fresh tastes in my bowl. If you're looking for a high quality, fresh bite for lunch or dinner, with a good price, this place is perfect. Not many poke places around Austin, but this place has got it down!

This was my first time trying poke and I was really impressed at the quality of food and amazing service we received. This was one of the best bowls I've ever had. This place is a hidden gem, but definitely worth it. I will be coming back!

Some of the best poke in town!! I love wow poke - this location in particular is so nice because of lovebirds - the bar is so cute and the drinks are incredible. I always make my own bowl at wow poke with spicy tuna and seaweed and avocado and cucumbers and jalapeños with a spicy mayo and ponzu sauce. Truly my favorite poke bowl!! They also do potstickers and other apps in case you don't want raw fish! The potstickers are delicious as well! I highly recommend the poke here and everything else on the menu is also a hit!! Service is so quick and you can order online too!

I ordered a make your own poke bowl with 3 proteins. Incredibly delicious and pretty fresh ingredients. They did forget my mango which was an extra 1 dollar charge but that's okay hit everything else was amazing. I would suggest getting some of the homemade sauces on the side as it was mixed reviews at my table. No service cause it's a food truck. And the ambiance was chill, there's music from a place nearby currently playing loudly and a cute waterfall. read more

What?!!! Ok I'm stunned! My husband just brought me a poke bowl from Wow Poke and I'm pretty sure it's the best thing I've ever eaten! Had one of his wings too... Delish!!! I wish I'd taken a picture before I demolished the thing but here you go... I has to include a picture so you can see how perfectly the salmon was cooked! I would normally have gotten raw but now I don't know! This is one perfectly prepared bowl of scrumptiousness! Our food is actually from their trailer in the Domain which is located near the old IPic on Domain Drive but I had to get this review in. I can't wait to go back and try other things and I'm so excited that it's close to my house up north! I don't usually do the domain but will now! YUMMY!!!! Pleasantly surprised by this food truck!! Portions were super generous and you get a lot of food for the price. There's a large array of toppings to pick from and service is super quick when you open from the window. The freshness and quality of the ingredients is in the top 3 poke spots I've tried in Austin. For a poke place, I thought the portions were great and the fish and sides tasted great. Ordering was also very easy since you just fill out a clipboard. Plus, you can eat your food in a cute bar next door and the bar has a little photobooth room! I just wish that you could add more toppings or sides without it being extra. I think sides were only limited to 5 and toppings only limited to 2. Definitely coming back though~ read more

Toasted quinoa makes all the difference. Definitely WOWed when i saw the portion. I got the custom poke bowl with both salmon and tuna. The portion of fish was meaty and not fishy at all. The seaweed salad and avocado are extra but you get a good portion too. Some of the reviews say the portion of rice was overboard but it felt like just the right amount and you can switch he base to salad or none as well. There are other items as well so looking forward to trying them next time. read more

Didn't realize this place has been open for almost 7 months already! Went for my first time tonight and was greeted with the kindest, most genuinely loving service ever! On top of the amazing people, the food was amazing. I have been to some pretty good poke places around the states, but this one stood out so so well. The bowls are HUGE in size and the fish is so soft and fresh, you can truly tell they put a lot of care and effort into their work. Would also recommend trying their desserts if you have space in the end haha! The homemade donuts were amazing. Definitely a must visit spot in Austin Texas read more

I cannot believe I am saying this, but this is the best poke I've ever had. I wrote it off years ago after a bad experience in LA, (mind you i had it many times prior to that) and it wasn't until today I reattempted. My friend said she was picking it up and offered to pick me up some to. I placed the order on the website in less than 1 minute, and was amazed by the price, portion, flavor and quality. Was ready in minutes. Somehow, the best poke I've ever had is now out of a food truck, and the cheapest, dankest meal option in town. ($15 for 2 proteins, many toppings and sauces?!? Woah) I ate half for lunch, threw it in the fridge, and just finished the rest and it tasted just as good as earlier. 10/10 read more

Why do you not have mixed greens as a full base? Or, at least it doesn't allow it on your DoorDash site. I can only select half & half (i.e. half rice, half mixed greens). There are people who can't eat rice or are trying to watch their carbs/starch intake. Please change this to allow just mixed greens as a base with no rice. Thank you! read more

Hands down some of the best poke I've ever had! We each ordered different items off the menu and all were outstanding. I. wasn't. wowed. After seeing all the Yelp reviews, I had fairly high standards. We ordered wraps: California and Tuna. While the filling was tasty, it was like 3/4 rice to 1/4 filling. Translation...it was a fairly small amount of actual protein which left me feeling hungry. While the service was pleasant, the ambiance was so-so, side street off Cesar Chavez in a quasi industrial area. read more

We ordered in and it was very good. Quality of fish was excellent, but not a large portion of fish for the price. My wife and I both ordered salmon and hers had a lot more salmon. The amount of veggies was very good and the rice was good too. I especially enjoyed their house made ponzu sauce with truffle. That was the highlight for sure. I also really like that they have gluten free sauces, which we ordered, but they failed to mark which ones were GF, so for my wife with celiac, that was bummer as we couldn't take the risk. I gave this 4 star really because of the amount of fish I got in my bowl, that they do limit you a bit in your choices before charging per additional item and that they didn't mark which of the ordered sauces were Gluten Free. Other than that, It is definitely worth ordering... read more

Loved this place! First time having poke and was initially a little sketched out by it coming from a food truck but this was delicious! Some of the best raw fish I have had in Austin! Super tasty and well done! Definitely recommend the make your own bowl or spicy daiko and the service was great! Went to the location behind the ballroom on 29th which has some seating and is very chill. Good to eat here or take out. read more

GO HERE. This place is amazing. Best poke in Austin. I found myself on a Friday night, hungry, with nothing to eat. My order was ready 5 minutes before they closed and it was perfect. Everything tasted freshly made, the portion size was much bigger than I expected, and the staff was incredibly nice and warm when I picked up my order - again, 5 minutes before closing. Go here. Wow! I grew up in Japan and have been to HI many times and I think this is my favorite poke ever. Fresh ingredients and the sauces and different textures are amazing. Heavy on the rice so ask do no or light if that's important to you. The spicy daikon starter is a must! We ate it too fast to take a pic but if you need an app while waiting in line at La BBQ (our favorite bbq spot in ATX) grab some! Great value! read more

Patrons are making a ton of choices from all of the great options and, it can be time consuming. Today, I stopped by to pick up 2 bowls. Each had VERY different ingredients and sauces. The employee was patient and very accommodating. I was reading, off my phone, the options that my sister chose. Then, giving the options that I chose for the second bowl. He didn't skip a beat. Even more frustrating for him, I think, was asking for all of the sauces on the side. He didn't seem to mind. He graciously put all of the sauces in little cups. He also labeled them with a Sharpie. Nice touch! Before I move on with the review, I'd like to offer a suggestion for the side sauces. If you are taking your order to go, the sauce containers will ultimately tip over in the bag, on the way home. Although the containers are of good quality, the sauce often leaks out. Perhaps adding a quick wrap of Saran Wrap (or the like), would aid in keeping the multiple sauce containers from tipping over in the bag, on the way home. The fish has always tasted fresh! Not once have I eaten here and complained about the quality! Sometimes we don't want to go to a sushi restaurant to get good raw fish. It's also hard to trust a poke restaurant in a strip mall.
