We came at the end of the night, and ordered 2 regular poke bowls with spicy tuna and a scoop of salmon. Service was pretty quick since we were probably the last customers. I wanted to try their cauliflower rice, but unfortunately, they were out by end of day. Still, really enjoyed my bowl!

I thought this was ass tbh. I've been eating poke in San Diego for a few months and I guess I may have been spoiled there. The sauce was just not good, the rice was stale, the pineapple was hard as a rock. The shrimp was crunchy, the salmon was ok. I'm really disappointed. Just threw most of it out. 2 stars bc the salmon and the cucumbers were fresh and it was packaged nicely for delivery. *Update from a few hours later I haven't left the toilet I knew there was something off. It's usually a "hit or miss" with any "cafeteria style" spot. I've tried the burrito style (which they usually stuff with a shit ton of rice, like more rice than anything. I tried it as a salad and a rice bowel. But I will say the protein is always fresh and delicious (I only get the raw fish, never tried anything cooked) So with that being said...depending on who's working that day, the time and their mood is what you'll get. I'll add the photos as I find them to explain what I mean. Sometimes they "hook you up" like they're making it for themselves and sometimes they put your shit together like it's coming out of their check..... SN: I've only ordered through delivery so I can't speak on the actual customer service. Except for one time when I preordered and picked up and it was late and you could definitely tell the ladies were ready to clock out and go home‍

I love poke and this place did a good job! Since they are a bit newer, it was very clean and we were the only ones there around dinner time. I love the abundance of toppings as well as the fresh fish. They have some unique toppings like soft tofu and peanuts. There's plenty of parking in the lot. I'll be back and perhaps bring a group of people since there's a lot of seating.

I really enjoyed this place! I had tried to order a signature bowl but I guess the staff didn't hear me. The music is kinda loud in there. I got raw tuna which is not my typical go to for poke but it was surprisingly tasty. I don't really remember what I ordered but I enjoyed the food. One of the better poke places I've had in Austin

Decent poke option, but doesn't compare with some other options in Austin. Good if it's the only thing open to in close proximity to you. They do offer a good selection of toppings and the fish tasted fairly fresh. However, fish was a little on the tougher side and the portions were smaller for the price. I do like that they had a lot of spicy topping options.

Ignored the bad reviews and took a chance, now contributing to the bad reviews. Ordered poke bowl for takeout and I got maybe 2 pieces of salmon and shrimp. For a $18 poke bowl, UP YOUR PORTIONS. Honestly embarrassing how small of a portion I received. Don't order from here, they skimp on portions and the sauce was soupy. Worst poke bowl I've ever had. Very disappointed.

I'm a Pokeworks regular (at the Riverside location) but was in North Austin so I stopped by this location for the first time! I was excited since they have milk tea which the Riverside location doesn't have. Perhaps it's for the best that milk tea isn't served across all locations because this was honestly the worst boba milk tea I have purchased from a restaurant. I ordered the taro milk tea and the cashier who took my order seemed hesitant after I ordered it and went to the back to presumably talk to a coworker for advice on it. After a couple minutes, I received my drink and was shocked about the quality of the boba pearls. They were hard and many were not round. Surprised the tea was even served to me since I'm sure the pearls looked abnormal before they were poured into the cup. The tea itself was fine. If the pearls were good I still probably wouldn't have purchased the tea again. No complaints about my poke bowl. Good as usual. This experience with the milk tea was unusually bad though that I feel discouraged from Pokeworks for a bit.

Please wear a hairnet. Or a hat. Or both. The worst feeling is being half way through with your food, and fishing out a long black hair from inside your mouth mixed with the food you've been chewing. Please wear a hairnet. It's disgusting.

Stopped here after the gym -- everyone was super nice and food came out quick and delicious! I loved the zucchini noodles and brown rice.

From the original Sushirrito in San Francisco, to Foodland's poke fare in the islands of Hawaii - I've been there and done all the things. So I'd like to think I know what good poke tastes like: fish tasty enough to eat on its own, sauce that complements rather than overpowers, and just the right amount and flavor of toppings to bring a unique twist to each bowl. If you actually want a solid portion of poke, this is a great option. What I liked: The salmon was very fresh - I ordered The OG salmon poke, and it was flavorful and well-marinated. The fish had a nice, smooth texture and absorbed the soy sauce and sesame oil well. No weird aftertaste or fishiness--just fresh, clean flavors. Portions are generous - A full pound of fish made for a very satisfying meal, which isn't always the case with poke. If you don't want rice or fillers, ordering by weight is the way to go. What I didn't love: Ahi tuna wasn't as fresh - It started off tasting fine, but as I kept eating, I noticed a slight fishy taste, especially in the middle portion. Not terrible, but not the best either. Next time, I'd skip the tuna and just get salmon if that cannot be improved. Seasoning is strong and a bit oily for me. The marinade is on the heavier side, with a lot of soy sauce and sesame oil. It's flavorful, but personally, I prefer a lighter touch so the fish itself can stand out more. If you're used to milder poke, this might be a bit much. I was just looking for a simple, no-frills poke spot, and this is a solid choice. The salmon was great, the value was good, and the flavors were bold. Not sure about service since I chose delivery.
