My friends and I call this place "exotic glizzies" because the hot dogs here are made with all kinds of exotic meats. They have an indoor and outdoor eating area with vibes of a brewery. We ordered the Belgian fries with the white truffle oil glaze and these are best fries in the city. No question. Thick cut, perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and that truffle oil glaze just takes it to another level. Seriously, nothing else comes close, and I'm already thinking about the next time I can have them. Portion wise, we ordered the regular and they were already quite a lot. For the sausages, we tried the rattlesnake and rabbit, and the duck and bacon.The duck and bacon were great, especially juicy. The rattlesnake and rabbit... honestly a little on the dry side. The buns were soft and light, and the grilled peppers on top added a really nice touch. However, strong condiments provided like any of the mustard does a great job of covering the taste of the individual meat, so be wary if putting on a ton of condiments if you want to actually evaluate the flavor; a mistake that I made. I came to this spot on a Thursday evening for a beer. There's an entrance where their sausage / food is ordered. Once you walk into the back there's a bar with the selection of beers to order from. We also went with a Louisiana hot links. We also opted for the rattlesnake a rabbit sausage, and also the pheasant with herbs. They were all amazing our most favorite rose probably the pheasant sausage. It was very juicy. All of the menu it is categorized as a juicy and savory which is a very good description of it. We added truffle oil on it and it wasn't too overpowering giving a light truffle flavor. It was nicely salted and came out hot. Honestly you don't even need any dipping sauce with the fries bc they are seasoned to perfection. They do let you choose one dipping sauce and we chose the pesto mayo. They serve exactly that tons and tons of sausages, from some really simple options to even exoitc sausages. There's plenty of outdoor seating lining the street and a large interior seating area that offers long tables for big groups. Its loud like a bar, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. An atmosphere full of sausages. You get to choose your sausage and two types of toppings for each sausage. I highly reccomend the fries, they really really good with the curry ketchup. I ordered the lousiana hot dog and I thought it was decent, it didn't blow my socks off but it was a solid sausage. Crispy skin and juicy inside and it was seasoned well. The only thing is that I wish it was spicier. There are accompanying mustards you can add on every table. First it's in the arts district, wonderful outdoor patio as well as an industrial brick interior that is actually pretty large. Lots of seating. I ordered the chicken and apple sausage w a side of fries. I'm an absolute sucker for dips and sauces so the fact they let you try topping/dip with your meal is great. Also tried one of their non alcoholic drinks being that it was only 12 o clock. The food was delicious. I recommend chicken apple sausage with sauerkraut. Walnut and cheese dip with fries.
