The shop is inside 99 Ranch, and the seating area felt dingy, with dirty, grimy tables. Staff were friendly and polite, and that's the main reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. I was the only one there so took maybe only about 2 minutes to come out. Both the tea and the jelly had a very strong tea flavor, which is what I prefer, which is why I usually reduce the amount of sweetness in all my drinks. It's definitely different with the jelly instead of the boba I usually get, but it's a nice change. Contact was very minimal since you order at the kiosk first and the only human interaction is when they bring out your order to you. I think for the size that you get it was pretty pricy, but it's definitely slightly different from your typical boba shop. If I happen to be at this same 99 Ranch again I'd stop by for a treat, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I spent a minute looking at the menu while Jenny C stood there texting and eating French fries. When I was ready to order, she told me to use the kiosk. I asked, "I can't order with you?" She reluctantly took my order, but continued eating while I was speaking. I ordered two drinks, read everything slowly, and still had to repeat myself. After taking my order, she simply walked away, and I had to grab my own receipt. While waiting, I overheard another employee tell Jenny C to go make my drinks. When she finally did, one of the cups had osmanthus rice mochi smeared on the outside, which should have been cleaned before being handed to a customer. Management should review this transaction using the date, time, and order number above. This wasn't professional and reflected someone who clearly didn't want to be there. Whether it's a training or management issue, something needs to improve. I was actually planning to meet a friend here next week, but after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because while the tea is pretty good, customer service is what keeps people coming back.

The shop is so cute, matching the aesthetic. You order on a tablet, and the baristas immediately get to work (great service). I got the grape green tea, less sweet with less ice, and it was so good. The grape flavor came from actual grapes at the bottom, and it wasn't overly sweet or artificial. Green tea quality was also great. Will definitely be back.

There is no kiosk to order so you have to line up or use their mobile app. The line wasn't too bad and waited around ten minutes. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong with cream, less ice and 30% sugar. The girl at the counter was friendly when she took my order. They were busy so drinks took 15 or 20 minutes to be ready. They put the drink in a cute little sleeve with a strap so its easier to hold. The osmanthus flavor was fragrant and nicely went with the oolong so it wasn't bitter. The cream on top was a bit average and didn't taste that good with the osmanthus oolong since it covered the osmanthus taste a bit. The cream is like coffee cream and not like the sea salt cream I kind of expected, which was my fault. However, the tea quality was good and authentic. Next time I will not be getting the cream with my tea so I can fully enjoy the tea.

Whatever air freshener Heytea uses, I want it. The shop is not too big, and there are two kiosks you can order from towards the left hand side of the store. You may also order with the cashier at the register if you prefer. My favorite thing about Heytea is that they have a zero calorie sweetener option. I always order it with my Grapefruit Mango Boom. The tartness of the mango and grapefruit is perfectly balanced with the coconut jelly and milk. Mix it all together and voila!!---a creamy fruity party in your mouth. I have also tried their Milk Tea with boba. The tea flavor is pleasant with a very creamy base. The boba however was disappointing. It was very overcooked and lacked chewiness. Parking can be a hit or miss since it is located in the Atlantic Times Square plaza. If you're lucky you might be able to find parking in front of the store. Overall, Heytea is an overall enjoyable experience. If anyone knows what air freshener they use in their stores, please let me know!

They are able to achieve that perfect balance of aromatic tea, subtle sweetness, and silky milk texture. I think Molly beats out heytea overall if you like more floral drinks. Heytea does have a slightly bigger menu with fun seasonal drinks. Places like heytea, Molly, and 3catea have also adopted the tiny straws for their milk tea drinks. I was skeptical at first but I am a true believer. The drinks DO taste better with it lol. It can get VERY crowded and the storefront is extremely tiny, so I recommend ordering ahead and picking up your order. I come here so often that I ended up getting the app, which makes it so convenient. You also earn rewards so the discounts add up! There is zero seating inside the store but you can enjoy the drinks elsewhere in the plaza on the scattered tables/chairs. Parking is free in the plaza underground and there are limited curbside loading zone spots off Atlantic blvd.

Can get pretty cramped but that's just how their shop is designed. Parking - Free in a one way outdoor lot. If it's full, there's the plaza right next door and/or street parking, plenty overall. Their menu is quite extensive, from teas, boba, coffee, fruit teas, they've got it all. For first timers, they have a signature section which I think is basically their most popular drinks, they're all recommended to try. My wife and I ordered the Oreo Matcha Brulee and the Uji Matcha Latte to share, both came out pretty quickly, around 5 minutes or so. I'm a huge sucker for oreo matcha brulee type drinks and this place made it perfectly. Each sip is full of the ingredients, very refreshing, and perfect sweetness in my opinion with 30% - 60% sugar level. Overall, great tea shop, it's pretty ironic to find a place that's just called "The Tea" which can be hard to search up, but their drinks are high quality, staff is quick, and their shop is clean. Their tea drinks are compendious. Staff were competent. It was my first time here and was impressed with their tea drinks. I had an Avocado smash smoothie and Mango pomelo sago. Both were very good at an affordable price. This tea shop is welcoming and relaxing, Overall, I enjoyed their drinks. I recommend it.
