Stumbled upon this place by referral and I have to say Dr. Wynn is light years ahead of the practice I used to attend. Speaking of referrals, they have an incentive for referring new patients... you get a gift certificate on them for getting two new people to sign up. I was the second referral for my friend/co-worker, so I guess he'll be getting something nice his next visit. Appointment was easy to schedule, flexible hours (some evenings at 6, others at 7, I believe they are open on Saturday as well). The day prior, they text and/or call you to remind you of your appointment. I've heard of the phone call, but the text just shows this place is trying to keep up with the changing times. Waiting room area has everything you need... magazines, toys for kids, etc. Dr. Wynn prides himself on making whatever procedure you're there for as painless as possible. I came twice in a span of two weeks for deep cleaning and boy did I have a good amount of drugs to numb the pain. I thoroughly enjoyed not feeling a thing (second time hurt just a tad). It is kind of irritating going home and not being able to enjoy your food, but how often do you get a deep cleaning? I also didn't realize it's extremely hard to gargle water/mouthwash... no one gave me a warning so I was spewing liquids everywhere. At the end of the visit, I was given a little care package that included a welcome letter, some ads, a toothbrush and some toothpaste. I was hoping for floss cause I ran out but hey, I got something free out of all of this, haha. Just to note, while I was waiting for the numbing to kick in, someone asked me if I wanted a magazine while I waited... my choices were Sports Illustrated or Architectural Design... I wasn't interested in either... but she didn't bother giving me the US Weekly or People because she said they were "girly" magazines... ::sigh:: it's probably best to not stereotype your clients, just saying... haha. read more

Having a great dentist who I am not scared to go to see every couple months is a wonderful thing. It is one less worry in the list of many worries that occupy my thoughts daily, but best of all it insures the future of my teeth so that I CAN eat and WILL BE eating with them for a very very VERY long time. I couldn't have put them in better, more capable hands than that of Dr Wynn's. Growing up my sisters and I hated going to the dentist. We DREADED it every single time. I remember sitting in the waiting room nervous and being absolutely terrified of the drill because it just hurt every time. That is not the case at Dr. Wynn's office though, in fact it is the exact opposite. Since finding Dr. Wynn, many years ago, it has been nothing but a surprisingly gentle and wonderfully pleasant experience EVERY single time and we have never step foot in another dentist's office. Our whole family goes to him now. He is a very kind and patient doctor who takes the time out to get to know his patients and what they really need. There is no rushing things through so that he can get to the next patient. He is very thorough and all questions are answered with great care and attention to what is best for ME. Great care and service isn't only provided by the doctor but also his attending staff. When you walk into his office you are immediately greeted with a friendly and smiling face, usually Dr. Wynn's wife, who runs the clean and tidy office from her impeccably organized front desk. After a few visits she'll know you by name and it will be like dropping in for a nice little chat with a good friend, while you get your teeth checked. Everyone is always very happy and willing to engage in conversation and answer any questions about anything from floss to electric toothbrushes. So if you are looking for a skilled dentist who not only KNOWS what he is doing, but does it PAINLESSLY go to Dr. Wynn. I highly recommended him. Dr. Wynn is honestly the most gentle dentist ever! He really really took his time numbing up my mouth before what would have been an otherwise painful drilling. I didn't even feel the needle. He was slow, gently applying pressure. You don't even notice. The drilling was painless! I honestly thought I was going to fall asleep. His staff are all very friendly and they reassured me that I would be fine, even though I didn't want to believe them because I have had experiences from my childhood dentist that are just horrific. I got a cute little goody bag with floss and toothpaste and coupons and a new OralB toothbrush. After opening up the packaging I found that Dr Wynn's name and business was printed on the handle of the tooth brush. Sort of a marketing fail since toothbrushes aren't like pens where people ask to borrow them, but it just goes to show that he really cares about his clients! I've had a cracked rear molar for quite some time but never bothered to get it fixed. Finally started feeling pain and decided it was time to get this taken care of. Came across this place which had great reviews and high marks so I decided to go with Wynn Pleasant Dentistry. This place is also literally 5 mins away so that too played an important part in my decision. The staff is great and all amazing. What you read is true and everyone is genuinely happy to be working there. Not only are they professional, but they are personable. I scheduled an appointment with Lynda at the front and she was so welcoming and friendly. Made you feel like you weren't at the dentist office or doctors office. I also enjoyed the fact that they only take you by appointments and when you show up, the scheduled time is dedicated to you, no waiting whatsoever. I got deep cleaning done and had to return later for the dreaded root canal. A lot of anxiety but the team is fantastic and doctor Wynn is so experienced and light with his hands. All the work he performed was barely felt and definitely made my perception change on what the dentist used to be like. He informs you every step of the way on what he is doing or what you may feel and always checks on your well being. Great dentist and great people here by far! I also had an issue with my temporary crown where it came loose since they only use a weak cement to hold in place until the real crown is delivered. I was made aware of this prior and sure enough it came off. Called the next morning right when they opened and they gladly took me in real quick to reapply the temporary crown and made modifications to make it fight better! Great care and work! I was referred to Dr. Wynn by my close college friend after I moved back Orange County. On my first visit, I was shocked when he numbed the injection area before he injected and took his time slowly injecting the lidocain. It was painless! I did not feel a thing. I told him that he would never be able to handle a big, lucrative practice if he keeps taking his time with his patients. He told me, he became a dentist because he is passionate about dentistry and helping people, not to run a huge practice to get rich. Another time, I wanted to get my teeth bleached again and he told me my teeth were white enough so I should save my money. I wish everybody was lucky to find a honest, competent dentist like I did. I needed my wisdom teeth pulled. I got Dr. Wynn from my insurance book. I don't like going to the dentist and was totally nervous about having teeth pulled with only Novocain. However, I barely felt the shots. Dr. Wynn took great care to make it as comfortable as possible. He explained EVERY step of the way. He ended up only pulling one explaining it wasn't necessary. His assistant was really good. Lynda the office manager was SO friendly and very helpful and informative. After all was said and done it was a fairly painless procedure. Dr. Wynn is the bomb!! Very gentle and nice guy. He makes sure patients are fully numbed before he starts. I had about 4 root canals done in 4 different days and i really didnt feel any pain at all during the procedures. Of course the pain would come when anesthesia is gone, but that's just normal. Wow... Dr. Michael is the best dentist hands down!!! I was introduced to Dr. Michael by his beautiful wife Lynda. She is our families jewler for the past 7 years. I originally went in for teeth whitening. Little did I know I would be making one of the biggest and best decisions in my life. I inquired about vaneers, all my questions and concerns were answered by data and live testimonies. Dr. Wynn and his staff are the best Dentistry office I have ever been too. Dr. Wynn himself is the best Dentist I have ever had. His attention to detail, patience, honesty, and his genuine concern for his patience comfort and general anxieties with dental work makes him unmatched to any other dentist. I have never been to a dentist who takes the time and effort to make sure you never feel a thing, and he has completely alleviated all fear and apprehensiveness I have ever had about going to the dentist. Most dentists are lazy and just jam a needle up into your gums and then makes you sit there until it kicks in, Dr. Wynn is the exact opposite. He uses a topical numbing agent and then he sits gently working the needle for as long as it takes until you are numb. In all my work I never felt pain or discomfort. On top of all this his dental work is amazing and made to stand the test of time he truly is an artist. And to make things even better he is honest and he understands that not everyone has insurance or a pocket load of money but everyone wants to have nice teeth and he will do whatever he can to make your smile beautiful and pain free.
