I am probably the last of the original Europa customers who still has an account. Europa was bought by Pacifier many years ago and the Owner/Founder of Pacifier did not share Europa's passion for reliability and excellent customer service. The Owner of Pacifier bought Infinity Internet and changed the company name to IINET. All of this growth and various acquisitions did not do anything to improve customer service or reliability. If anything, it steadily got worst. A LOT worse!!!! Infinity Internet was bought by EasyStreet Online services a while back. As amazing as it seems, the experience got WORSE under EasyStreet's management. SPAM increased by a LOT. EasyStreet sent a notice a while back that basically said they were not interested in the single user, residential DSL/dial-up business.... and that's been pretty obvious by their miserable performance. If you e-mail support, you will NEVER get a response..... EasyStreet used to be known for it's amazing customer service. Those days, under this new management, seem to be gone forever.

In that time I estimate I paid them over $4000 in fees. I was a pretty good customer for them. Fastforward to 2013. A debt collector just put a heinous mark on my credit report alleging they are seeking money for Inifinity. I called Infinity and they say I never cancelled my service and so they sold my last payment due ($67) to the debt to a collector. The Infinity employee I spoke to said the debt collector likely waited until now so they could increase the money owed through charging interest. The bill totaled $105. The best part? Infinity waited so long, the seven year period would be past for it to blemish my record but they reported it as due December 2007! This is totally false. They would not budge on helping me clear up the date and I ended up paying everything to clear up my credit score. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid them at all costs.

After receiving our most recent billing statement for basic cable and internet service, we decided…read more$250/month was outrageous and not worth the cost going forward. I contacted customer service and the very friendly and helpful representative was able to drop our basic cable and set us up on an internet only plan. Our wifi modem was out of date, so she found a nearby store where we could pick one up when we dropped off the old modem and cable boxes. She gave me the store hours as well, which leads me to the review of this particular store. We walked in and were greeted by a man at a podium checking people in. I told him why we were there and he put me on the list. There were about 3 people ahead of me. They had about 4 employees helping customers, so the waiting was only about 10-15 minutes. Not too bad for a Saturday morning. My transaction only took about 5 minutes. The employee, I think his name was Austin, was helpful and efficient. He was able to get me the updated modem I needed for our new plan, and we were on our way. Once back home, we set up the new modem. It was fairly simple through the Ixfinity app. The customer service representative suggested we set up the new modem with our old modem name and password so all our current devices would reconnect automatically. That was a genius suggestion! Everything reconnected with no issues. We are all set up and don't miss our basic cable one bit! Nowadays we stream most everything we watch, so we'll be enjoying the extra $150/month in savings. I'm giving them 4/5 stars because I think their basic cable prices are absolutely ridiculous, especially with all the streaming apps available now, some even offered for free! I was happy with their customer service personnel though.

I've had xfinity mobile for 5 yrs with few problems until this week. The mobile data stopped connecting. I didn't realize it until I was away from home & google maps couldn't connect. It caused me to miss a medical appt & reschedule. I then went to the Xfinity Hazel Dell store and witnessed the rudest employees I've ever seen. Another senior in the store was yelled at by a female employee and the person taking names never kept track and other employees were asking customers who was next like we knew or something. I finally was waited on by a young guy who took my phone & changed settings, handed it back to me and said it's working now. It isn't, and not only that, they did something so the phone doesn't work either. I can't make or receive calls though it worked fine until the store got hold of it. Exhausted and in pain when I got home I connected via broadband and chatted with xfinity yet again to no avail. They are clueless. The store did something so the phone doesn't work. Carriers do this to try to get customers to buy new phones. That just makes customers change carriers. I finally told chat I'm switching carriers, then a minute later broadband disconnected. I reset it and it's back up but there's no excuse for this. This is a store with a bunch of rude employees & incompetent employees who think it's funny to make the lives of seniors more painful than they already are. They know nothing of kindness and treating others how you'd like to be treated. I've emailed corporate as I'm disabled I'm supposed to have connection 24/7 so I have corporate contacts. That store should be shut down & all those employees fired. If I have to buy a new phone, it will be from a different carrier.

I told him I didnt really need it for another 60 days or so, he told me the offer may not be around so I accepted it. Well, the paperwork had $10, he ensured me he just had to make a call to let them know it was a Verizon watch (I had just replaced my other sons watch) and it would make the credit $150. I told him I trusted him that he was being forthcoming and told him I wanted to wait for him to make the call. He acted like he did, leaving and coming back telling me I was all set, and the credit would show on the 2nd billing cycle. Well, it's never shown up, and on top of that Verizon charged me 300% more for the BS fees for a 19 day pro-rated month. 3 watches on the account, one has $1.79 fee, this one, $5.49. This was the case for all the different fees. So, the managers lies cost me $140 in credits for the watch, 2 months worth of service at $20 or so each, and Verizons rip off pro-rated fees for a total of $200 in added costs. They have told me 3 times they are making it right, but that doesn't happen.
