My garage door coupler broke, and Salem replaced it with a new one, and installed a new garage spring and new set of nylon rollers. I had three quotes from other contractors before Salem visited. I have a separate wifi unit that is sitting on top of my garage opener that allows the remote control to work properly. None of the other contractors were able to identify what this unit is for excep for Salem. And Salem knew the purpose of that wifi unit being there, which was the motherboard/logic board had been replaced by the previous owner. The other contractors tried to upsell me and told me lies, such as my aluminum garage door was on the heavy side when it is actually on the lighter side. Garage spring snapped fairly late at night and Salem responded quickly that evening and was even willing to come out that night to diagnose the issue for me. We ended up meeting in the morning and Salem diagnosed the problem, gave me my options of replacing an individual spring or all of the springs and told me the pros and cons of each, and also pointed out some other worn out pieces on the garage door. Ultimately went with replacing all of the springs and rollers and Salem was able to get four custom springs for me the next day for the replacement.
