Amazing experience, an authentic rich hummus. Delightfully, tender, pita fresh crispy fries shoestring but a little fatter. We really appreciate it. They had so many sauces made not with mayo (Eggless). The garlic sauce is made with mayo. I enjoyed their liberal use of pickles. I wish the wraps have the same succulent pita that is served on the side, it is made with burrito like wraps. The falafel is a very fair price and is fresh. Restaurant is bustling, many orders from DoorDash. Friendly but busy servers and cashiers the same. Next line, the baklava was amazing. 7/5. One of the best in my lifetime experience. Crispy by phyllo dough, crunchy inside nuts, your choice of pistachio, cashews, or walnut.

My favorite restaurant in Tracy! Everything is delicious. Recently they have been trialing a new breakfast menu on the weekends that is just fantastic. I ordered one of everything, and there were no misses. Standouts were the shakshuka, potato and eggs, and hummus with steak. And don't pass up in the tea. Beyond the food, the service is amazing from really genuinely nice people.

My cousins and I went to Yafa Hummus in Tracy without very high expectations since none of us have tried a Mediterranean dish before but WOW! The food was amazing! We got the Shawarma Fries, steak shawarma roll, and chicken shawarma wrap. The fries were packed with flavor, and both the steak wrap and chicken shawarma wrap were delicious and filling. We keep wanting to get more because of how delicious everything was. The portions were pretty big. We ended up sharing everything between three people and still had plenty of food. On top of that, the prices were a great deal for how much you get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend if you are in the area.

I got a chicken shwarma and gyro bowl with white rice, spicy hummus, and greek salad. I enjoyed the chicken over the shwarma. I also tried the falafel, which I prefer over the gyro meat as well. The bowl was a large portion for the price, can easily be shared between two people. The store has a decent amount of seating and was fairly clean. The service was fast, but I did go when it was pretty empty. You can order on a kiosk. I would say it's comparable to Halal Guys but not Cava.

While the food is still tasty, the service here really needs improvement. The vibe when I walked in was definitely not welcoming. They've added kiosks for ordering, and since there was no line and it wasn't busy, I figured that was the way to go--so I placed my order there. I sat down to wait, but then noticed a couple walk in after me and order directly at the register. It seemed like it was their first time because they were asking a ton of questions... meanwhile, I was still waiting, and the staff member who could've been making my food was busy helping them at the register. That's when I noticed my receipt had a convenience FEE just for using the kiosk. What in the world? Shouldn't it be the other way around? I'm saving them time by ordering myself, yet I'm the one getting charged? and it's not much, but it leaves a bad taste as there was no signage anywhere to indicate this like when there's a card fee posted. Had I known, I absolutely would've just gone to the register. They weren't busy anyways. When my food was finally ready, they called my name. I walked up and the guy didn't say a word--just pushed the bag toward me and walked away. Not even a hello or thank you. Eating out I think is a luxury, especially these days, and prices aren't getting any cheaper. The least I expect is basic courtesy. I got my food and left. Honestly, I don't think I'll be coming back for a while.

Yafa Hummus food hit it out of the park! I have never been this excited for Mediterranean food. Flavorful, healthy, fresh and simply delicious. There is a self ordering kiosk that I felt lost the customer and owner relationship but if you're in a hurry and there is a long line during peak hours, this is the way to go. Ambiance is more of a Togo than dine in as there are many warehouse and industrial business within the radius. Food is delicious! Highly recommended! From their hummus that was a recipe handed down by their grandfathers to the tzatziki sauce to the dolmas and wraps! So good!

I got the 6 piece falafel and they were super nice and gave me some extra. The food tasted great and came with a sauce. The service was quick and kind. The ambiance was chill and laid back. I recommend coming here, especially if you're looking for some Dubai chocolate if they have any available, hang out with friends and family to chill.

I found myself in Tracy car buying on a Friday night (random, I know....) It was 8:30 by the time I was done and hadn't eaten dinner. Yafa was open until 9 so I figured it's hard to go wrong with Mediterranean and they proved that to be true! Around 8:45, the place was buzzing with people coming in for take out orders. You order at the kiosk (easy) and they call your number. The restaurant was clean and bright. The food itself-amazing! I had a falafel bowl. You can choose two different bases and they give you lots of options from Greek salad to rice and more. I got the brown rice and tabouli. The bowl also comes with two sauces (again you can pick.) I tried the tzatziki and tahini. Both were really good. The bowl is huge and the combo of flavors complimented each other well. The staff was very kind and told us no problem to dine in, even though they were cleaning up to close (they said they were going to be there a while.) They were so nice about it and we tried not to overstay our welcome and tried to finish our meals a little bit after 9. Great spot and how I wish they'd come out to Brentwood-I'd be a regular!

Great customer service by the manager right when we walked in and was very helpful! We didn't order food but we ordered the Dubai strawberry cup that was amazing. I am not a sweets person at all but could not stop taking bites of the Dubai strawberry cup. My daughter and I got so lucky and we got the last one of the night. It was very clean inside and the actual food smelled really good. Definitely will be returning for a cup again.

Hello, I am sorry but I must draw your attention to this. I have attached pic this time and this happened again. Same issue. I have receipt to prove I bought items today. Why not just say hey in order for me to fulfill your cup it's $1 extra or $2 extra. Why serve like this. I am taking this for work and it's paid by work. It's embarrassing to take it like this because it looks like I took some out before I brought here. I keep coming back to you is because your food tastes great and everyone at work likes it too. Please either train your staff because I didn't wanted to argue with them.

Came here for the first time visiting Tracy and went to Yafa Hummus because it's pretty well known. The staff is very welcoming and helpful! However, I was really surprised about how small the portions are for the price. There was barely any chicken on the bowl that I was mostly eating rice and hummus for the entirety of the meal lol. The overall flavor is good, I recommend getting the spicy hummus if you go there it was the favorite part of my bowl. The environment of the place is lively and fun, so it's worth a try to visit if you're in town. read more

The only reason Yafa doesn't get a 5 is that they wrap all their homemade goodness in a flour tortilla for the wraps They are still good, but for those who have had the traditional Mediterranean flatbread wrap, you know the difference in texture read more

I was on my way to visit my bro who lives in Sac and wanted to try a new dining option. I turned to my trusted soilders on Yelp for some solid advice. And I came across this place as it attracted me with the five star review. As I walked through the door, I immediately was greeted and felt welcomed considering how busy they were. When it was my turn to order, I had forgot the item I had wanted earlier on. This guy was friendly enough to ask probing questions and then we were able to figure out what it was I wanted. About 5-to-7 minutes in and my item is ready to be picked up. I ordered this veggie rollup wrap since it was one of those religious meatless days. I got back to my car and drove for about another 10 minutes when I had to pull over for some gas. Impatiently, I decided to park and grab a bite as I was hungry. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, holy crap, was I surprised. The shell was crispy, warm, with a bold filling. I knew right then and there I made a mistake...by not ordering two! read more

Ordered a back home style shawarma which immediately unlocked memories and emotions linked to the taste buds that i had given up on. And for that i can only be thankful and grateful for all the guys who are involved in this great establishment from the greetings to the cleanliness and most of all the on point 5star straight up fireworks for the buds kinda food. I haven't even mentioned the hummus cuz I'm not worthy please go and grab yourself a piece of true history memory and hummussness. I've had Yafa Hummus a few times now. The food is great and fresh. During this time of "Shelter in Place" their menu is smaller but still great and filling. My daughter and her husband shared a gyro, they really enjoyed the taste too. You should try their different types of Baklava, extremely good! read more

5 stars for customer service. The woman employee with the galaxy mask has great customer service! She made me feel really welcome. But overall they all have great customer service. I saw them interact with other customers. Portions are big and the bowls come with pita bread too! I got a free drink for checking in with yelp. I love chili but I did like the classic hummus more than the spicy! Glad I tried this place out! read more

Restaurant was clean and staff was efficient. Friendly and accommodating. Since we were first timers at the restaurant he explained the menu. My husband & I had given up Pork & Beef for Lent, so he offered us the Falafel & Chicken Shawarma . I got a bowl and my husband received a wrap. + Brown rice was so flavorful + Mediterranean salad was crisp and tasty + Loads of Chicken Shawarma + Falafels were moist and yummy They had other options for sides: Tabouleh, Greek Salad, and Baba Ganoosh Also had Baklava, but we didn't get any. Customer service and friendliness 5 stars, food is another thing. For $14, chicken Shawerma wrap was thin and to be honest too expensive. Chicken had flavor but salad inside the wrap took over the taste. I am being generous by giving 4 stars and hopefully they will put more chicken or meat in their wraps with more flavor. read more

Food was very good. Great hummus and falafels. I got the falafel wrap which was so flavorful. We ordered take out and they forgot our pita bread. They had outstanding customer service and even delivered the missing pita to our house. They threw in an extra bag of pita chips and they were just heavenly. I can't stop eating the pita chips. I love this place! I went here two days in a row and did not get tired of it. I will be back very soon. The bowls are filled up to the top with excellent meat portions. The tzatziki sauce is amazing so definitely make sure to add that if you get a bowl. I've also been told that the salads kind of taste weird (probably due to the sour contrasting the rich sauces) but I think it may just be an acquired taste...either/or still try it out. I highly recommend this place. read more

How dare you, Yafa hummus. You have no business being so amazing yet so far away from home. We are traveling from the outlets and we stopped in this area for Rubio's. Listen, I love Rubio's. But we are so glad we stopped here instead. We had never been until today, so the [very nice] person taking our order gave us each a sampling of their variety of dressings for our bowls. I got a chicken bowl with the kale slaw, the spicy hummus, and the baba ganoush. Did I get the most incredible combination possible? Or is everything this amazing? Most likely the latter. I could eat this every day and not be mad about it. The chicken was delicious, the hummus was perfectly spicy, the baba was deliciously smoky, and the kale slaw oh my god it had no business being so amazing but it was. Husband got the beef with brown rice, spring mix, and spicy hummus. I tried the beef and it was great but I was really just enjoying my own bowl so much I couldn't stop nodding my head to my husband as a non-verbal way of saying "OH MY GOD MY TASTEBUDS ARE SO HAPPY!?!??!!!" Oh and the dressings, all of them were *chef's kiss* so good. I'm glad we got to try them all, honestly I could never pick a favorite they were all really good. I'm a wuss so the spicy dressing was WAY spicy for me but not so overwhelming that I couldn't appreciate the flavor, and also not so spicy that I was able to go back for more. Man don't know what happened to this place, haven't been here in a couple of yrs but I expected the 5 star taste I would always get, but isn't the case anymore. Not sure if they're under new management or old management just let go of the rope, but the food is not good anymore. The classic hummus didn't have the thickness hummus should have more like mayonnaise thickness. The rice was gunky mush with no flavor. The pita bread is different from before and extremely hard to eat. The chili sauce that was thick before is now completely water based and the whole bowl was just bland. This is my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. My friends and I will drive all the way from Modesto just to get their shawarma and gyro combo. It's definitely my go to when I want something satisfying to eat that I know will not disappoint. If you go, you must also try their baklava ice cream. It is nothing short of divine. read more

This was my first time coming to this location that my friend have been talking about for almost a year. I am so glad I did. It's legit like a Mediterranean chipotle except better then chipotle! By a long shot! The layout of the place is spacious & very vibey. The hummus is fire & the warm pita bread is sooooooo good. I noticed that the owner makes the effort to communicate with customers and he is very welcoming & kind. Love places like this! It's def a one of a kind stop! If you're in the area MAKE SURE TO STOP AND GIVE IT A TRY!!! The back home style shawarma is my favorite! Ps make sure you grab a baklava! read more

Yafa is always a great place to stop for lunch! I am a creature of habit and always get the Spicy Gyro and I am never disappointed. Everything tastes super fresh, and the meat is well-seasoned. Firat time here. Hubby wanted to try this place out and best spot for Mediterranean middle eastern food. Oh my goodness I had the gyro and it was so delicious my husband had a falafel bowl and he enjoyed every piece . I also had to try there lentil soup and it was really good but the gyro filled me up so I will have to finish my soup later lol. We were greeted and our questions were answered. While the restaurant appeared to be unstaffed when we entered and nobody came out to serve us until we were just about to turn around and walk out, we observed that the young man who came out had gloves on and he was probably in the back doing some sort of food prep, so the delay was reasonable. They had a sign that said in big letters, "HUNGRY? We can fix that!" Like Winnie the Pooh, I checked in with my stomach and answered yes! I was famished. I had brought my lunch with me but left it in the car while it was getting the oil changed, so I had nothing to nibble on. It was kind of early, maybe 10 AM, and I didn't even think they would be open, but then I realized they did have the sign outside on the sidewalk. I walked by the front door and it opened automatically. My heart started to flutter. So I went to look at their menu online and saw that they had chicken shawarma bowls. I love chicken shawarma. I decided to look them up on Yelp and make sure they had good reviews. I realized that they were a sponsored ad, and that gave me pause. The last time I went to a Middle Eastern restaurant that was sponsored, it was not so great, so I quickly checked the reviews. They have pretty good reviews! One review said that the chicken was dry, but others were more positive. I had a really good feeling, so I ordered it. Another reviewer commented that the rice was so good -- and they're not normally a rice enthusiast -- so when I placed my order, I upgraded my rice from the white rice that comes with the order to the rice infused with turmeric and garbanzo beans. When I opened my order, the bowl was a pretty decent size. If my husband had been with me, we probably would've been able to split it. In my order, I saw: * Seasoned chicken drizzled with shawarma and a delicious white sauce. * Hummus * Tomato cucumber salad * And this yellow turmeric rice I couldn't resist -- the rice was the first thing I tasted, and it was delicious! I can't quite figure out what flavors are in there, but I could taste a hint of cinnamon, and there were definitely other flavors there. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The hummus could very easily be the best hummus I've ever had. I really enjoyed this meal. I really wanted to eat the entire bowl myself but decided to save half of it for my daughter, who I know will also love it. Customer service was excellent. Adam was at the counter and greeted me very warmly. And when I was leaving, they asked me if I wanted hot sauce and then they put that in the bag. Overall, I give this five stars. I love that the food comes in an eco-friendly container. If there's anything that I could change, it's probably that they put it in a plastic bag instead of a paper bag. I try to avoid plastic as much as possible, but the container was quite big and needed to be in a bag while I hiked back to the oil change place. Wow! I'm amazed at not only the quality, but the quantity & freshness too! I'm middle eastern, so I grew up eating this kind of food and until now, I've never eaten at an Arabic food established that truly taste authentic. This place really nailed it! The falafel was hot & crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside. The first bite sent me spiraling into childhood memories of my fathers falafels. The hummus is not over seasoned like that store bought garbage and the texture of it is like fresh powder-snow fallen on a mountain top. The shawarma was tender, moist and flavorful. The staff is friendly, helpful & welcoming and the pricing is phenomenal, too! In time, my kids will become part of the furniture, as we're regulars there. My wife and I were driving through Tracy on our way home and decided to stop in the main shopping center to look for a place to eat. We decided to go out of our box and try something new, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our decision! Service was top notch from the beginning. As we were looking through the menu for the first time, their staff walked us through the menu and the options they had. My wife decided on a chicken shawarma bowl and I went with a gyro wrap. Every bite for both of us was absolutely delicious and we are now sad because they are located so far away. If you're going to read one review of this place, read this one only because I'm speaking for 3 people, two of which happen to be extremely satisfied guys who miss their mothers' and sisters' cooking. This place serves authentic food...period. I've read some reviews on this place and there are plenty that are way off base, the ones that say the food is bland and that they were expecting more flavor. This is very good and certainly authentic food. Service is friendly and relaxed. Don't expect to rush through your meal. This spot is amazing!!! I have not yet found a place that makes and sells food so similar to our food back home. This is the real deal! Or close enough... I had high expectations coming in and ordering here. WOW!!! They didn't disappoint :) I'll be back to order more.. the shawarma "back home style" was bomb! Falafel was great! Great quick friendly restaurant. Our group had a bowl with brown rice 1/2 chicken shawarma and 1/2 gyro Mediterranean sals and spring greens, one gyro pita, 6 falafels and a hummus and pita plate. Everything was delicious and fresh. We went back up to the counter and got a couple of pieces of baklava and the baklava gelato. They were both yummy.
