The food is delicious. It's fresh and tastes soooo good. However, I did take away one star because the ordering process gave me anxiety. It's similar to that of chipotle or subway etc and the music is kind of loud and they are behind a tall glass and I'm pretty short so I had to be the person who asked "what" 7 times. They didn't really want to explain what anything was and I wanted to ask for recommendations and specifics but they just seemed to want to get me through the line. Not to mention the tzatziki portion they give you is really small so I ended up asking for three. A very nice bus boy kept checking on us and was so sweet and accommodating. Even though I like Cava better, Yafo Kitchen is a great competitor. Fresh, fast, healthy. The staff could be a bit more friendlier to consumers especially when you let them know you usually eat Cava and it's your first time trying Yafo. Everyone I asked for recommendation seemed like they didn't like the menu options. I did the make your own bowl and some of my lamb meat was hanging of the bowl. Yafo is a great fast casual Mediterranean spot. Probably the best in my opinion. Staff is super nice and helpful and they keep the line moving quickly and efficiently. Ordered a bowl with lamb and my friend had the chicken. Both were extremely good and we were thoroughly impressed. Got a side of falafel as well as the greek yogurt mac and cheese. If you come here you are absolutely doing it wrong if you dont order the mac and cheese. Nice refreshing concept. A great alternative to fast food. Quality ingredients made in a variety of Middle Eastern styles with many vegetarian options. I like the "build your own" options that allows you to combine just about all the ingredients the way you want. We got the Falafel and Greek wraps. Both were good. The mezze options are also tasty. The tabouleh is particularly good. Ordered a salad bowl with eggplant. It was OK. My only complain is that too many items are mixed together in a relatively small bowl so that the tastes get all mixed up. Variety of condiments and home made drinks are also great. read more

Interesting, mostly healthy food. I ordered the chef special pork belly gyro. Very salty. I think it would have all worked well together but the salt was overwhelming. The beets were great. I will try it again and hopefully not get a salt shaker full of salt. read more

New favorite spot. It's like Chipotle, but with more options and friendlier staff. They give you a ton of food for the price, the bowls end up being 2-3 full meals for me. I had an amazing experience at Yafo. Both locations are great, but I love this new locations feel. The staff is great and made amazing recommendations and helped guide me as I tried things I haven't tried before. People swooped by and helped us at our table lightning fast and the service after getting our food was even above our expectations. We loved it. It was busy at lunch time and I was impressed by how they were able to answer my questions but get me through the line quickly. And the food was amazing, and loved the staff. Very clean place, with fresh food and I always feel like I'm getting quality ingredients. Lots of care must go into running this place. You would not know they are a new opening! Where I could easily feel rushed in a line, I'm never rushed to make a bad food decision. Although we normally opt for a tea or water to drink, they also have options like wine and beer.
