Service was amazing with Kim! Food was the best and very mouthwatering. The Tenderloin was so juicy. The salad bar was a full bar. A nice place to eat while visiting. Thank y'all Patti

This place is a little deceiving when you pull in. Dirt road, small signs, and not too much curb appeal. However, we walk in and welcomed right away. We were seated and our waitress was quick and friendly. I got a ribeye with a side of mashed potatoes. She asked if I wanted brown or white gravy. I got brown. The meal also came with a salad and I chose a raspberry vinaigrette. The salad was ok. The dressing was good but pretty plain and I didn't get a cucumber but my friend did. Our meats came out shortly after. It was cooked exactly how I asked. The beans came with - they were okay. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The waitress dropped of A-1 sauce to the table but I did not use it. Probably one of the best places to get dinner in this small area!

I ordered a med rare steak but it came out well done and dry. My meal barely had seasoning so I used a lot of sauce. The service was nice though. The place was clean and well decorated for their country theme.

The minute I walked into this place, I thought to myself, "Self, this place looks like Denny's and Texas Roadhouse had a kid". And if this steakhouse *were* a kid, they'd be a 'B' student. Let's discuss, y'all! (see what I did there? HA! yeeeaah....I'll get my coat) Upon noticing the 4 and half star average consensus, I was most certainly willing to give this place the benefit of the doubt. BLUF: this place isn't half bad. Pretty decent steak, actually. It certainly makes up for the abomination of a steak I ate at Applebee's up the street last week. BUT....I digress. Obviously, they're a local joint with a very quaint and humble atmosphere, wait staff, and clientele. Not that they really have much control over the latter, just worth mentioning what you can expect here. Honestly, upon walking in, I felt a little over dressed. And I was only wearing a plain collared shirt with JNCO jeans and Etnies. I was determined to try the Ribeye, as this is basically my favorite cut of steak (with filet mignon coming in a close second). I also opted for the mushroom and onions on top, since that's also a personal favorite of mine AND I noticed that not a single reviewer prior to myself had taken a photo of any steak with mushrooms and onions. So, how was it all? The steak had a nice char I could appreciate and the cooks seem to nail their steak temperatures spot on. The sauteed veggies shared the same delectable char, along with a hint of pepper. Ordinarily, this would bother me. But...I kinda liked it. The steak could have used more seasoning. But overall....not a bad execution. 7 out of 10 for me. Let's discuss this baked potato situation. Now....I feel the need to describe this side with a pop culture reference. Just....humor me for a sec. You guys ever see the movie "Curly Sue"? Do you remember the diner scene where Sue is incessantly eating a baked potato like a 16 year old girl making out with her junior prom date? Remember how it was also clearly one of those foil wrapped baked potatoes? Yeah. That's what Y'alls is like. Pretty damn tasty, but definitely nothing elegant or fancy. It isn't a negative by any means. But I just felt the need to dispatch that little caveat for those who may not be used to such things. Even Texas Roadhouse doesn't serve their potatoes like this. Oh, yeah....apparently the steak dinners also come with a side of baked beans; something they fail to mention on their menu description. And I didn't eat them, mainly because I hate beans of any kind since they make me ralph. But, again....I digress. There were a few things I found odd about the wait staff.. 1.) They seemed severely understaffed, even for a place this small. I mean, it took something like...3 minutes for the hostess-lady-person to decide which table to seat me at. And another 5 minutes to get the table clean. I know we have to over-sanitize everything ever because COVID but....would it have been too much trouble to have me sit at a table that was already cleared off? 2.) One of the waitresses seemed a bit timid...as she proceeded to check my ID for the wine....and dropped it. And I promise you I did NOT give her a hard time for asking me this. 3.) For some reason, they seem to be extremely proud of their "high end" Cabernet. Which, while admittedly smoother than the house blend, wouldn't have made much difference with me, had I waltzed into this place three sheets to the wind anyway. I suspect others have waltzed in here under far worse influences. We'll leave it at that. Overall, I guess I'd probably visit one more time before departing the city (town?); if only to try the bacon wrapped center cut tenderloin. Minor idiosyncrasies aside, I'd say check 'em out. They're a cozy, homely, neighborhood steakhouse worthy of 3 charbroiled Ribeyes with slightly peppery mushrooms and onions out of 5.

    Biscuits with our meal.

Soooo, pulling into this place I thought to myself "yelp is a damn lie and they made a mistake" this "steakhouse" looks like an abandoned Denny's from the outside and I was scare ... but I was wrong. I wish I had taken more pictures as the food was amazing and I was hungry so I ate it quickly. I had a ribeye which was reasonably priced and had an excellent flavor. Better than a Ruth Chris' steak even. The staff was warm and welcoming. Each steak came with a side and a salad. I was impressed with the portion sizes and the overall flavor of ALL my items. Not a bad thing on plates. The ambiance is a little "hokey" but that's shouldn't deter anyone from trying this gem.

The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.

We told them we just wanted something fast and would be in and out quickly and were seated quickly at a booth. Our waitress was amazing and still kind and energetic though it was the end of day. Free bread with garlic balsamic olive oil, bread was warm and they were very generous with the amount of dried garlic. Margherita pizza: we picked the most standard one and it was odd. Instead of cheese and fresh basil it had slices of tomato and dried basil. Crust was underdone and there was way too much cheese on it. Italian nachos: Crispy pasta chips, black olives, pepperoncinis, Roma tomatoes, jalapeños, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella and parmesan. We had it with chicken and it was interesting but drowning in Alfredo sauce.
