In 2026 it seems that ownership has changed. It used to be awesome! Now it's not. I had chicken teriyaki and the sauce was like flour or cornstarch were added. My wife had a tuna roll and the tuna was not fresh. The waitress was a little weird. She didn't check in. When I said I'd like to return the bad-tasting tuna roll, she didn't offer any replacement or discount or complimentary dessert or drink. I had a very upsetting experience at this sushi restaurant. I politely asked for hot sauce, and instead of helping me, the employee became extremely rude and aggressive. She told me I "cannot sit here" and that I "don't belong here," then raised her voice at me in a very hostile tone in front of other customers. I was completely shocked and embarrassed by how I was treated, especially over such a simple request. Customer service should never involve yelling at customers or making them feel unwelcome. I enjoyed the unagi sushi. However, the fried rice and chow mein didn't taste like anything, except oil. I got the sashimi combo plate with 15 pieces. The slices were very large, probably three times larger than most sashimi. The salmon was the best out of all of them, but again, they didn't taste like much and it felt like too much in my mouth. This is the closest sushi spot near where I just Moved so I was eager to try them. They actually were open Christmas and I was going but decided not too. I did last night and wow! I ordered a few nigiri pieces. Salmon collar, and a spicy tuna had roll. All the fish was fresh and I really enjoyed the size of fish to the amount of rice. You couldn't see the price which is a plus plus! I really enjoyed how they dressed the fish too! The escarol has that yummy mustard sauce with shaved onions, the unagi was perfectly seated and dressed, and I requested the clam to be seared slightly which they did and it was very good! Prices are fair for the quality and I'm a sushi lover! Miso was good and the hand roll had so much spicy tuna I could barely hold it. The salmon collar was massive. Most places give you a little piece. They do charge for extra sauces but I didn't mind. I often get chili oil and mix it with eel sauce, try it! It's a baked salmon roll with meatball on top. Really great sushi! I order takeout from them all the time and love their crispy rice balls and gyoza! Finally dined in today and luckily it wasn't too packed for lunch so all of our food was made quickly and tasted fresh! Thai tea was super yummy! We ordered the gyoza and cream cheese wontons. The gyoza were hot and delicious and the wontons were fresh but just okay. I ordered the shrimp tempura avocado roll which was perfect and filling. My coworkers order the miso ramen and a few rolls. I came here with Ms. Lee after a long day of trying to help her prepare for finals week, which involved me taking an Algebra 2 final. That really strained my brain. We were deciding where to eat and honestly, our default should just be sushi because we both love sushi and I am never not craving sushi -- I can eat it any day and probably never get sick of it. I've also come to the point where I prefer my fish uncooked, but that's a different conversation. Servers were friendly, they let us pick where we could sit, though it might be because it was getting pretty late and there were more tables open. Our waitress kindly took our orders and brought out our food fairly quickly. We ordered the Rainbow Roll, Rambo Roll, Hawaiian Roll, and crispy rice with spicy tuna. It was enough food for me and Ms. Lee, though it's always hard to split sushi. I'm a sucker for restaurant-made California rolls, don't mind me. First of all, this place is affordable - we were able to have a full course meal with drinks for around $20. The lady who was serving us was very helpful - she comes back to us every once in a while to check in how we're doing.
