If you're looking for simple rolls that are solid this is a good spot. AYCE is cool. The appetizers on the All you can eat menu are all bomb, and you can get Nagiri too. Sushi all tasted good. Atmosphere is clean and staff was friendly. Quick service, got our sushi really quickly. Buffet has a decent variety of food to get you started while you wait for your sushi. Good value for the price. If you're wanting all you can eat with decent value definitely come here. Omg!! Finally we have a nice place in Brighton. Food here is delicious and super fresh they have a buffet section with lots of variety and they didn't get forget dessert. They are fast and friendly and super clean!! They do have their all you can eat sushi and it does come in rolls so be aware the servers explain everything when you are about to order. read more

Food was tasteless and cold. Servers did not know what food went to what table. We were given another table's order. Server said everyone's order went to one ticket. The menu doesn't specify the amount of sushi you want so you'll be getting a full roll and not a piece. Watch your quantities. Sushi was gross anyway so don't waste your time. You can get better sushi at Sam's. The wait time is ridiculous too so really save your time and money. read more

Overall, I enjoyed my visit, but I felt the restaurant currently leans more toward Chinese cuisine than Japanese cuisine. The menu included items like lo mein, fried rice, and spring rolls, which made the experience feel less traditionally Japanese. If the goal is to be known as a Japanese all you can eat restaurant, I would recommend expanding the Japanese offerings. For example, adding a self serve seaweed salad station and white rice option would be a great start. Another idea would be offering a hot pot or shabu shabu style dinner option where guests can cook raw meats, vegetables, and other Japanese ingredients themselves and pair them with rice. I would also suggest adding boba tea, which is extremely popular and something I often see at Japanese restaurants. The sushi was excellent. The tuna was fresh, and the salmon nigiri was especially delicious. One area that could use improvement is the ramen. Unfortunately, the broth tasted very bland and lacked depth of flavor. Adding more seasoning and ingredients such as seaweed could make a big difference. Even a few sheets of nori would help enhance both the presentation and flavor. That said, the pork was very flavorful and well prepared. Another major addition I would recommend is onigiri. Offering varieties such as salmon, tuna, shrimp, crab, Spam, and traditional rice ball options would help establish a stronger Japanese identity. Other Japanese dishes that would fit well on the menu include tonkatsu, tamagoyaki, yakisoba, daifuku, bento boxes, and seaweed salad. Right now, the restaurant feels like it sits somewhere between a Japanese and Chinese buffet. While there is nothing wrong with offering a broader Asian menu, focusing more heavily on Japanese cuisine could really set the restaurant apart. Brighton does not have many strong Japanese dining options, so there is a great opportunity to become a local favorite. Many of my friends have expressed disappointment about the lack of authentic Japanese food in the area, so I think there is significant potential here. As for the atmosphere, I thought the interior looked very nice. It had a clean, modern feel while still maintaining a warm and rustic touch. To further enhance the Japanese theme, I think adding elements such as cherry blossom decorations, plants, or small trees would give the space more personality and character. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The service was excellent, and despite my suggestions for improvement, I had an enjoyable experience overall and look forward to seeing how the restaurant develops in the future. read more

Nice newer restaurant in downtown. Staff seemed attentive and answered questions. Buffet a little light on salad offerings and hibachi grill was from menu and not build your own. Japanese ice cream (matcha and red bean) was a surprise. Takomaki didn't have any obvious tako. Tonkatsu in the tonkatsu ramen wasn't quite how I remembered in Japan, but OK. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! This is the worst service and food i've ever experienced. As someone who works in customer service, this place needs a little training because we were barely checked on. Dirty plates, Warm water, and Old food. The inside is cute but the food is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Im not a picky person so I don't typically leave bad reviews but this was not worth almost $30 per person. I talked to who I believe was the manager and I was trying to be nice about the food not being up to par and she was just plain rude. Unprepared to be open. The sushi made family sick. The soup was cold. They did not have their liquor license but had a menu full of adult drinks. The waitress was is rude and wont accommodating to allergies. We wanted a specific roll without one topping due to allergies but they would not accommodate even though it took 20-30 minutes for the rolls to come out.
